14 I don't have a daughter like you

I AM ALSO YOUR DAUGHTER

"I am sorry but I don't want used goods," Anna shouted.

Feng Anxi burst into laughter.

While Lillian Ye fumed, "Anna Lee, say it again, who is used goods?"

"Between us three, don't you already know who used goods are?" Anna counterattacked.

Lilian Ye saw red and even Harry Lu was frowning slightly. The Anna he knew never once used such foul words but then again, how much did he even know her?

Lillian Ye did not want to back down. Her hand slid around Harry's arm then she said, "You are just saying that because he chose me over you yet what did you do all this time, fooling around with two men without any shame.'

The two men she was talking about were Feng Anxi and Travis. Anna could not believe what was coming out of Lillian Ye's mouth.

"Lillian!" Harry reproached. Her words were indeed quite vulgar and disrespectful. In annoyance, Travis fixed his glasses, but Lillian did not back down, feeling wronged that Harry had shouted at her. She said in a small voice,

"What? Am I wrong? She did not even go for the auditions yet still got the female lead role. The two men are protecting her so much; don't tell me you are not thinking about the same thing."

Anna did not answer as she thought that it was beneath her to stoop to Lillian's level. She sighed and then made her way to Travis.

She knew how much pressure he has been shouldering due to these two men and now Lillian was throwing insults his way.

She had wanted to tell him earlier that it was alright but he had stood up for her without a second thought.

Travis and she had met when she was still in high school. He had offered her a role but she had declined.

The role he had offered back then was not that of General Rong but another one.

After she had declined he did not seem mad but only told her that he would one day find another one just for her. She had thought that he was joking but he really did find another one even better.

She looked towards Harry Lu holding Lillian ever so delicately and then towards her father who was still comforting Julia.

It seemed like Feng Anxi coming in had worked because they did not talk about replacement anymore, mere resentment was nothing in front of money.

Travis offered to give Julia a different role where she would have more screen time and that was that. Lillian was already the second female lead so there was nothing higher than that.

It seemed that her father could still not accept that his precious daughter had cried. He looked at Anna with hard eyes; if a gaze could kill then she would already be dead one thousand times already.

"How did I raise such a daughter as you? Anna, you make me so disappointed."

Anna stilled, this was her own father. Lillian had said many things and if they fell on the wrong ears, they would believe it without a single doubt, looks like her father was the wrong ears.

She had believed that even though they had fallen out, it was not to the point that her own father would believe such blatant lies but she was wrong.

She could accept his unwavering affection towards Julia; she could even accept him trying to make her marry that promiscuous son of the Chen family, Karl Chen but not this.

He had said in front of people that he has disappointed in her just because of another person's careless words and also because of a female lead role that he wanted her other daughter to have, her heart constricted in pain.

She felt wronged.

The pain clouded her face and some words escaped her lips,

"Has Chairman Lee forgotten that I am his daughter too?"

Chairman Lee creased his brows. Something hammered in his heart repeatedly and on his face was blankness. Yes, this was his daughter too, but this daughter often made him so mad. He wanted someone as obedient as Julia who did everything he said.

Anna had even left the house and cursed them to death. After the hammering feeling had dissipated, he looked toward her and said,

"I don't have a daughter like you."
