It was rare for Tang Xiao to see the pale look on her elder brother's face. Seeing him like this made her wonder what did he want to tell her.

"Elder Brother, what is it?" Tang Xiao asked. She looked at the strawberry plant that she was taking care of. Then, she turned to look at his elder brother again. "Why are we hiding?"

The reason his elder brother took her to the balcony was to hide from their grandmother, right?

Tang Chen hesitated. He waved his hand, motioning for his younger sister to come closer. "Xiao Xiao, whatever it is that I'm going to tell you, you have to promise that you have to calm down."

"Elder Brother, I am calm."

Tang Chen pursed his lips as he observed his little sister. Xiao Xiao looked calm but, Tang Chen was worrying about how she was going to react once he told his little sister the matter that had been preoccupying his mind.
