Look for My Friend

"Xiao Xiao," Mother Tang walked closer when she saw her grandchildren coming over. She gave Tang Xiao a look over, wanting to see if her granddaughter was injured. "How is it? Are you alright?"

The little girl flashed her a smile. "Grandma, I'm fine." She twirled around, wanting to show her grandmother that she had returned without any injury. 

Mother Tang glanced at her grandson, hoping that he would explain why they returned.

She saw that the two of them were playing happily. Now that Tang Xiao had returned, Mother Tang began to think that something had happened.

"Grandma, I'm just thirsty," Tang Xiao reported.

Mother Tang heaved in relief upon hearing her granddaughter's words. "Then, come over. Sit down and drink." 

"Mhmm..." Tang Xiao grabbed the bottle of drinking water from her grandmother and sat on the bench. She drank her water slowly and thought that the plain water tasted a bit sweet now that she was tired.
