Sleeping together

The three of them happily cooks for some food to celebrate their new hut.

Mar roasted some boar. Noah cook some fish stew and Ren bake some bread.

They place all of the food on the table and bring out the fruit wine that Mar has been aged for some time now.

"There's a lot of food. I wonder if I will be fat if I eat a lot tonight" Ren asked.

"I don't care even if you get fat. You will still be the most gorgeous lady for me." Noah interjected.

Mar touches Ren's face, "You won't get fat no matter how much you eat. So you don't have to worry about it."

Ren smiled and poured some fruit wine on their mugs, "Okay, I believed both of you. Let's cheers for our new hut, let's celebrate." She holds her mugs up and cheers with Mar and Noah.

Both Mar and Noah cheers with Ren.

Days have passed and the Big hut is now livable. The clays have gone dry so Mar has started transferring some of their stuff into their new home.

Noah on the other hand, are busy collecting some feathers for the big bed he wanted. "I want my Ren to have a better sleep at night. I need to collect a lot of soft feathers for the bed and for her pillow." He is quite excited to sleep next to Ren.

He has collected a lot of feathers. He then went straight to the new hut and fixed the big bed he wanted.

Ren saw that he is busy in the big room so she went and see what he is been doing. "What are you doing here?" She asked.

Noah looked up at her and then smile. "I'm making a soft bed for you. I want you to have a better sleep at night."

"Wow, I didn't know that it is possible to collect this much feathers." she replied.

Noah looks smug and answered, "I got it from our clan. We are an eagle clan after all."

Ren frowned, "Don't tell me you plucked your clansmates feathers just to make this."

"Ha-ha, of course not. When we shed our worn out feathers, we will grow a new, strong and warm feathers for the winter. We then kept it for this kind of occasion."

Ren looks confused, "what kind of occasion?"

"Like having a mate. It's our tradition to make our kept feathers into a bed for our mate."

"Oh, I see, I understand. Should I help you then?"

"I'm okay, just relax, let us furnish this hut. This will be done today."

"Alright, I'll be in the sala with Ezra, just call me if you needed something." She then kissed Noah on the forehead.

Noah blushed like a little girl, he can't help but smile from ear to ear. "Oh, I'm so lucky to be accepted by Ren." He lifts both his fists, "I won't let you down my Ren." He looks so determined that it's funny.

Ren heard what he said and felt happy and warm. She can't help but smile.

Mar placed all of the food they kept from their old cellar into the new one in the big hut. "There is so much space in here," he thought. "When winter comes, I must collect a big pile of ice and snow to make this place a lot cooler for the summer."

The sun is already down when everything is in place and the new hut is clean.

Mar and Noah made dinner and they all eat, including little Ezra.

When the night comes and it's ready to sleep, everyone feels awkward.

Mar speak, "You sleep on the other side beside Ezra and I sleep on the other side besides Ren."

Noah frowned, "why do you have to decide? Why can't I sleep beside Ren?"

"Stop fighting both of you, besides Ezra has his own bed since he keeps moving while sleeping now that he's a little bigger."

Noah smirked. It is his idea for making Ezra's bed in the first place. He knows that he won't be able to sleep beside Ren if Ezra is with them on the bed.

Mar rolled his eyes, "you smart ass," he muttered in a low voice.

Ren puts little Ezra in his bed and the three of them lay on the bed feeling awkward, especially her. She is not used to sleep next to Noah. This is their first time sleeping together.

Both Mar and Noah's body feel stiff. They are waiting for whom Ren would hug.

But Ren hugs Mar at the end while she is asleep.

Mar felt happy and Noah felt annoyed with Mar.

Noah then put his arms on Ren's waist, then sleep.

It really is an awkward situation indeed.
