He was about to go back into their hut, but Milly stops him from going. He transformed into his human form and wear his skirt.

"What do you want from me Milly?" Mar asked.

"Well, I just wanted to say hi. I have heard you have a mate now. Why don't you just leave her and be my mate?" She tried to flirt with him, but Mar is very furious with her actions.

He stops her hand from moving around his chest. "If you have nothing good to say, then don't even bother talking to me. You very well know that I am not in the slightest interested in you."

"Come on Mar, I know you like me, you just don't like the idea of me having a lot of mates."

"Exactly Milly, you have a lot of mates, why need me?"

"Well, I just want you, and you are also the village chief. I wanted to be the mate of a chief."

"Stop your nonsense. I really hate the likes of you. You think so much highly of yourself. You are not that pretty you know?"

"What are you talking about? Everyone knows that I am the prettiest women in our villages."

"Maybe that was before Ren was here. Stop talking to me anymore Milly. I only want my mate and that's it."

"She is not even from our tribe. I want her out of here. She has been taking the attention of some of the males here in our villages."

"Don't involve her with your nonsense. She is my mate, that only means she is a part of this tribe now whether you like it or not. If I find out that you are planning something bad about my mate, I will make sure you will suffer in the worst way possible."

"Alright, fine. Go and leave. But remember this, she will soon leave you, like how your mother left your father. And you will be begging for me to take you as my mate." Turns her back and went to her hut.

Mar transformed into his beast form and run fast to his hut.

When he returns to his hut, he heard Ren in the kitchen and went straight there.

"Ren, I am back. What are you doing? Aren't you in pain earlier?"

"Hi there. I am cooking for our lunch. I thought that the meeting might take long, so I decided to make our lunch for us. I have made some meat stew and I reheated the fish too. It is done, I have prepared the table also. We can start eating now."

Mar is really touched by Ren's action. He has never seen a female do chores before. They all are spoiled. Ren is very different from those women.

He hugs Ren from the back, smelling her scent. He wished that this isn't a dream. That this never stops.

"Thank you Ren, I feel like I am the luckiest man in the world."

"You also do these things for me too. And I feel the same way as you do." She hugs him back and kissed him gently on the lips. "Let's eat, the food will get cold."

"Okay love. Let's eat." He eats happily, without even thinking of what Milly said earlier. He only knows now that Ren loves her, and she is his mate.
