Chips and Fries

Half a day, Ivy and Ren talked about a lot of things regarding their relationship. They have too much fun to notice the time.

Mar and Noah came with their hunts and went straight to the kitchen to clean it.

Ivy was about to go home when Ren told her she wants to come and walk her out with Ezra.

Noah heard what she said and offered to come with them.

They bring Ezra with them and Noah holds him. They are walking in the village holding Ren's hand in his other hand. He was such a gentleman and he held an adorable child in his arms. They look like a happy family, and everyone can't stop looking at them.

Every lady in the village is looking at Noah. There was a bit if naughtiness in the gentleness and a touch of nobility in him. He looks so majestic that every woman can't help but stare.

Ren and Ivy noticed the commotion from the ladies around them and they both look at each other.

Ivy whispered at Ren, "everyone is looking at Noah, aren't you feeling worried that they might snatch him from you?"

Noah heard what Ivy whispered and he is the one to answer, "They can look, but know that they can't have me. Only my Ren is the one for me." He said in his smug face.

Both Ren and Ivy laughed.

Noah looked at them innocently.

The three of them came back in the hut after sending Ivy home.

Mar is still busy stacking the food they brought home in the cellar.

Ren went to the kitchen and saw that they have a lot of potatoes in their storage and she had an interesting idea. "How about we make some potato chips?" She asked.

Mar and Noah looked puzzled.

"What's a chip?" Noah asked.

"It's a snack made out of potato. I wanted to try doing it for a long time. Good thing we have a lot of potatoes. We can try and make some."

Mar grabbed some potato, "How do we do it?"

She grabbed the potato in Mar's hand and cut it, "We just have to slice it like this, very thinly. So it would be crunchy when we cook."

"Wouldn't it burn if we slice it like that and cooked it?"

"No, it wouldn't, trust me." Then she also cuts some potatoes in long thinly slices. "Then this would be a potato fries."

Mar can see that Ren is so excited that he can't help but smile. "Okay, love. Teach us how to do it."

The three of them happily cooks the chips and the fries.

When they are done with cooking, Ren sprinkled some salt in both the chips and the fries. She picked one chip and put it in her mouth. She can't believe how crunchy the chip turns out. She then tries to eat some fries and love how crunchy it is on the outside and moist on the inside.

She closed her eyes, savoring the taste in her mouth. She didn't know that Mar and Noah are looking at her, amazed with how she looks.

She opens her eyes and came back from reality. "Oh my god Luna, you both should try this. It's awesome." She then puts some chips on Mar's and Noah's mouth.

Mar and Noah's mouth widen in surprised at how delicious the potato turns out.

"It's very simple but delicious. I can't believe it's a potato." Mar said, looking innocent.

Noah on the other hand grab another chip and eat. "This is delicious, Ren. You really are so great."

The three of them sat down and ate the chips and fries, giving some for little Ezra who also ate it happily.
