After the snowy weather

Months has past and the cold season are finally receding. It won't be long and the pile of the snows will be gone.

Ren's tummy is quite big now. The baby is moving too much inside. The baby is also due to be out. Mar and Ren are both happy and excited for the coming baby.

Ren is wondering how many months does a baby stay in the tummy before it gets born. This is her first time and she has no ideas or whatsoever.

"Mar, how many months do you think before a baby is born?" She asked.

"I'm pretty sure it is about nine full moons, love." Mar replied.

She thought it must be the same from where she came from.

Ren smile, "We will soon be seeing our little baby, I can't wait."

After months of staying at home and waiting for all of the snow to be gone, finally the cold season is over.

Ren is happy that she would be able to go outside and have fun. She can still feel the cold air, but it is much better than those cold months that passed.

She went to the kitchen where Mar is cooking. "Love, do you think we can go outside now since it is no longer snowing?"

Mar look at Ren and smile. "We could, but just for a short period of time."Because it is still a little cold and the land is still wet from all those melted snow."

"Alright, as long as I can go out and play," Ren replied.

Mar is a little worried about Ren. He knows how bored she is by staying at home for long because of the cold season, but she is due on her pregnancy and playing outside might not be a good idea.

Ren noticed the worried expression on Mar's face. "What is wrong dear?

"I am just worried that something might go wrong if you play outside. I don't want you to get hurt, especially now that you are pregnant."

"Okay, I know you just want what's best for me. You don't have to worry, I won't be playing outside."

Mar relaxed and kiss Ren. "Thank you for understanding."

Ren smiles. "But we can go outside, right?"

Mar couldn't help but laugh. "Okay, we will go out, as long as you won't play enough to make me worry."

Ren raise her right hand as if swearing, "I promise I won't make you worry."

Mar thinks that Ren is a little funny and laugh again.

Ren wanted some fish. It has been a long time since she ate one because of the snowy weather.

Mar and Ren went to the riverside.

Ren wanted to play with the water, but stop herself as she knew that the water is still cold.

Looking at Mar who is catching fish, she can't help but wonder if he could catch some when the water is cold.

Finally Mar is able to catch some fish.

Ren happily looks at the fish clap her hands out of joy.

"Let's go home and cook this fish for our lunch and dinner."

Ren couldn't help by sighed as she doesn't want to go home yet, but she doesn't have a choice because she knows she will get sick if they stay outside longer.

They reached their hut. Mar started cleaning the fish and cooked it. He made some grilled fish and stew.

Ren is so happy seeing the feast in front of her. She grabbed some bread and partner it with fish stew. "Wow, this really is delicious dear. Thank god the cold weather is gone."

"Yes and we can have other kind of foods as well since there's no more snow outside." Mar replied.
