"Where are we going again?" I turn to look at Samantha and smile shaking my head.

"It's a surprise," I say for the sixth time since we got in the car.

"Okay, why is it so far?" I shrug my shoulder feeling caught with that one.

"I wanted to give you the best."

"And there is no best near?"

"Is the car ride bothering you?" She shakes her head. "No, I just want to know where we are going?" I smirk as I turn to gloat over her.

"That's for me to know and for you to find out darling, chill beautiful you will like it." I bring her hand clutched in mine and kiss it before focusing back on the drive.

Am taking her to a famous restaurant located on the hill of Hollywood where I reserved the rooftop to be prepared for us to dine there.

I plan for this night to be a special night for Samantha and I pray to everyone in heaven listening to my prayer to bless this night to go as I planned.

SAMANTHA LILY ADAMS

I feel shocked that we pulling at the restaurant, I don't know why I imagined something else but I also don't know what I imagined either if you ask me.

But either way, am not hurt or regretful.

We are led inside and then guided to what seems to be the stairs to the top and it's when we get there that I stop holding a gasp that escaped from my

lips by my hands over my mouth.

The floor is decorated with red petals everywhere on the ground, there is a beautiful dining table set for two with a candle in between the table giving off a beautiful romantic setting to it.

There is merchandise providing, a smooth calming melody at the far side of the table. And the good thing is that our table was the only one set on the roof.

I turn to Kai and shake my head.

"This is beautiful." He smiles pinching my waist. "Not as beautiful as you are." I look at him and feel the love pouring in my heart threatening to bust my heart.

"Oh, Kai." He smiles taking my head and leading me to the table.

He pulls a chair for me. "Thank you," I say smiling before I sit down and he pulls me in closer to the table.

I think he is leaving when suddenly I feel his suit jacket on my shoulders being swam with his cologne all over me.

He walks and sits in front of me and grins at me.

He signs something and a waiter comes and starts pouring us each a glass of champagne.

"Oh we are celebrating," I say as I reach for the glass. "Of course we are." He pulls his glass of champagne in the air between us.

"To my beautiful girlfriend for archiving her first of many more wins to come." I smile and raise my glass to click on his.

"To my handsome man for taking over her mother's empire and making it so successful than even the owner was capable of," I say and he grins.

"To us love."

"To us." We click our glasses bring them to our lips and take a sip while keeping our gaze on one another.

I feel so happy tonight, I don't know what it is that is making me feel this cheerful inside of me I just know am floating.

"So I took the liberty of ordering food for you, I hope you like it." He says and I smile at him.

"I would have been mad if you hadn't." He chuckles when I say that.

"Well, now am glad I had."

"You should be," I say and then the same waiter comes over with our food and serves us.

I start to dig in immediately. "Mhm." I moan in pleasure as the sweet taste melts in my mouth.

"This tastes good," he smiles while he also starts eating.

"Am glad you like it,"

"Oh, I love it." He smiles at me and I catch a glimpse of a spark in his eyes.

"There is more." I quirk my eyebrows.

"Oh Kai, want me to die before I even step foot in college?" He laughs giving me that kind of sound I love a lot that comes from him every time he laughs.

I love it but this man rarely does it given when I met him and now, I could take the liberty of saying he laughs more now than then unfortunately it's not to the extent that I want him to be laughing at.

I want it on him daily not occasionally.

"I would never." I smile feeling so blissful, the night is so magical even without the stars beautifying the sky.

It's only darkening sight is enough to make this moment magical by adding Kai being here with me.

We continue to dine in a beautiful scenario, there are red petals all around us and I love it because it matches my red vibe of the night, beautiful melodic being played by a violinist.

"Kai, I love this. We should do this more often." He nods at my words. "Duly noted my Queen."

I reach for a glass of champagne and take a sip trying to hide the glamorous smile threatening to fill my face.

"Care to join me for a dance?" I watch him carefully taking him in as he gets on his feet and offers me his hand. I love how the cool night breeze keeps hitting him and makes his shirt hug his torso and firm abdomen much closer to him illuminating his well-built body in his shirt.

He is so perfect, Gosh.

The sight of him is making my heart swell.

God, how lucky was I to get to call such a perfect soul my soulmate?

Is this my promised land? My paradise? Because if it is trust me when I say I would not complain about anything with him.

I smile putting my small hand in his big one, he holds on to it tightly squeezing it before he helps me up to my feet.

He instantly draws me closer with his hand on my back.

"Smooth dancer," I say teasingly making him chuckle embarrassingly.

I feel surprised to see a small shade of pink creeping on his cheeks.

"My God, Kai you are blushing." He looks down in my eyes. "You intend to make me." I smile at him not denying it.

"What do I intend to make you feel?"

"You make me feel like the luckiest man to have you by my side." I hide my face in his chest.

God, I was not expecting that. I wouldn't have answered that that wisely if the question was reversed on me.

He lightly pinches me on my waist.

"I love you Kai, do I tell you enough."

I feel his fingers caress the back of my head. "I will never get tired of listening to it so I don't think there will ever be enough of it." I nod pulling away from him so we can continue slowly dancing in each other's arms.

"Did I ever tell you that I love your face too?" I arch my eyebrows shaking my head. "No, I don't think you've told me." He nods his head.

"Well, I love your face," one hand that was holding mine leaves mine making me move it behind his neck to clasp alongside behind his neck.

But am pulled back by the tender touch of the back of his hand on my cheek.

"I love your face, I love everything it holds and how well-built they are. I love it when it's happy, excited, mesmerized, sad, or angry, I love every emotion that could ever be found in it. I love those pinch honey-like gazes, grazing into them for a long it's like looking into the depth of summer. Because they hold warmth in them." My throat is in knots.

God help me my knees keep holding me.

"I found warmth in them the very first time I met you, you captured me with them and held me prisoner since then. You don't know how relieved I was knowing I made you my secretary, knowing I can gaze into them now and then, whenever I wanted them."

"Kai." I say feeling the emotions I am feeling choke me, God does he want me to cry? If yes then he is succeeding.

Tears are slowly falling down my cheeks as I stare into his ocean-like gaze.

"Don't cry." I sniffle as his hands are up on my face wiping the tears away with his thumbs.

"Then stop making me." He leans in and lays lingering kisses just below each of my eyes.

"I love the depth of sunshine you filled in my life when you honored me with your presence in it. I was a shell of a man, a shadow without an owner. I was barely surviving when you found me and filled me with your brightness. Darling, I will forever hold you just at the pinnacle of my heart, mind, soul, and everything that makes me, me."

I just can't take it anymore.

Tears are falling uncontrollably on my cheek, emotions are high, and the moment feels special. On top of all that staring into his blue eyes isn't helping because I feel like am floating in them and at the top of his emotions.

"Don't cry." He leans and kisses me tenderly caressing his lips with mine.

I can feel both of our emotions circling one another in our kiss.

"Don't cry, I got you."

God his words will leave me a mess. He draws me closer and kisses my forehead before pulling back and holding both of my cheeks wiping the rest of the tears away.

"Stop crying, darling." I sniffle nodding my head knowing my tears aren't doing anything but just messing with the mood here.

"I killed the mood, didn't I?" I ask chuckling lightly.

"No, because the purpose of the night hasn't arrived yet for you to mess. So don't worry." I frown at my lips.

"What more do you have hidden under your sleeves Kai?" He ignores that and instead sneaks both of his arms on my waist pulling me again closer to him.

"Keep dancing darling." He says hitting my skin with his breath making me feel warm inside.

We hold each other like that, slowly swaying from left to right drowning in one another's warmth.

I move my arms from his neck and surround them on his back resting my cheek on his chest.

His heartbeat is beating rapidly fast but I don't think I can blame him because I know mine is also beating as fast as his.

God, I just wish someone was recording this moment because I would have loved, loved so much to relive it by seeing it every time I wanted to.

"Samantha?"

"Uhm?"

"I have something to ask you?" I pull back a little from his arms to look at him.

With how perfect and so emotionally we were with one another, the last thing I thought was of something going bad.

"Everything okay?" I ask suddenly feeling wary that I have been so immersed in my feelings to miss something.

"It depends, but there is no need to feel scared it's not bad at all."

"Then what is it?"
