Feeling Sad
" Hi Miss Belle, Good Afternoon. I have an appointment with you" I greet after taking a seat
" Good Afternoon, I spoke to Nick yesterday and he told me about his plans" Miss Belle replied
" Yes, I would also like to tell you-" While I was talking, I was interrupted by the ringing of a phone.
" Excuse me Munje, I have to take this call" Miss Belle informs me.
I'm about excusing myself when Miss Belle signals me to stay.
" Hi Baby" I hear Miss Belle say after she answered the call
I am shocked because I didn't expect Miss Belle to have someone she was dating. I don't know why but I start feeling pain in my chest. While I'm thinking about all this, I continue to hear Miss Belle's conversation
" I'm working right now but when I'm done I'll do the video call" Miss Belle says
" Babe no, I'm not ignoring you, I'm doing something and it can't be held. I promise I'll do the video call immediately I finish what I have at hand" Miss Belle says in one breath trying to convince the person on the other end of the call. This is my first time seeing Miss Belle act coquettish and in love. She looks so abnormally beautiful
" Boo, I'll call you later, sending you kisses, I love you, byeee" Miss Belle says before hanging up the call.
I am left in a daze after Miss Belle ends the call and I'm feeling really sad. Miss Belle is about twenty. She's age mate with Ari. She is a really lovely woman and has accomplished great things. From what I heard, Miss Belle is almost done with college and is doing part-time study. We all call her Miss Belle although she is not very old because she is our boss.
After Miss Belle finished her call, she turned to me and we continue our discussion
" Munje, sorry for the interruption, you can continue where you left off" Miss Belle permits me
" Miss Belle, I want you to know that due to my education, I would be resigning from this job. I had an amazing time working in this place and under your guidance, work was easy but I would be putting an end to my journey in Lia Line soon" I inform Miss Belle
After Miss Belle heard this, she was not shocked. She encouraged me and asked me the time I would be leaving the job.
" So you and Nick would be leaving the job in two weeks" Miss Belle asked
" Yes. We decided to leave the job a week after our graduation from highschool" I reply
We spoke some more and then I left her office. Upon leaving her office, the happy expression on my face went down. Outside Miss Belle's office, Nick is waiting for me. He see my unhappy expression and he asks
" What's with the face, did anything go wrong in there"
" Not really but I found out that Miss Belle is not single and she has someone she's head over heels for" I reply with a gloomy expression
" So I'm guessing you are sad cause she is dating someone and you like her. I'm shocked that you expected her to be single with how beautiful she is. Man, she goes to college too and there is every tendency that she would be chased by many guys" Nick says criticing and consoling me
" I know but I'm still a little heart broken" I reply after realizing I never really had a chance with her.
