Chapter Nine

Jace follows Primrose to with her friends which was all girls. Jace felt comfortable now since his last school he hung around girls.

"Girls this is Jace." Primrose smiles softly.

Jace smiles and waves as he sits down next to Primrose.

"So this is Brina and Kenna." They both said hi.

Primrose goes and gets food. As Jace was with Brina and Kenna. Brina was eating as Kenna was on her phone.

"So Jace when did you move here." Brina ask.

"A couple weeks ago with my sister. So not that long ago." He answered.

Brina nods, "What was your old school like?"

"Well boring, not a lot of stuff to do there. Where I used to there was a lot of crime there so everyone had to go through metal detectors." Jace explains

"Oh, umm any friends there?" Brina kept asking questions

"Why yes mostly girls, but not a lot of friends though."

Brina was going to ask another question but Kenna interrupted, "Sorry about her Jace. But one last question what friends did you make here?"

"Umm...well you guys and Caden even his friend Cory." He answered again.

Kenna thinks and then points, at the table where Stacey was sitting at. Jace looked where she was pointing to, "So them?" Kenna raise an eyebrow.

Jace nods, "Ya but just Caden and Cory."

Brina jumps in, "Who is girl that sitting with them?"

"Oh that's my sister, Stacey." Jace said as he takes out a snack.

"She is really popular with those guys." Kenna says.

Primrose came back and saw who they were looking at as she sighs. She sits down and starts eating. Jace saw Primrose and smiles. As Brina and Kenna said hi to her.

"Prim, I'm glad you brought me her."

Primrose smiles softly, "Your welcome."

Back at where Stacey it sitting they were joking around and stuff. Jax saw someone pointing at them, "Hey Stac?" He taps on her shoulder.

"Hm?" She looks at him

"isn't that your brother?" Jax ask as everyone looks over where Jax looking.

"Ya. I'm glad he found some friends." Stacey smiled as she looks at her phone.

"Well yes and no." Cory chimed in

Stacey looks at Cory confuse, "Why?"

"That's Caden ex and Caden doesn't like her.."

"So? Jace can be friends with both of them. end of the conversation." Stacey said going back to her phone.

everyone was quiet and didn't know what to say so they kept talking about their day and all. Jace smiles and talks like he hasn't seen anyone in awhile. Stacey peeks at Jace to see if he doing ok and he is.

The last class Caden and Jace were sitting together. "Why does this class only do projects?" Jace ask Caden.

Caden shrugs, "Maybe it's easier? I don't know. Hey are you going to Homecoming?"

"No, Stacey and I hangout and throw our own Homecoming."

"Wait your own Homecoming?" Caden said shocked. "Do you bring friends over or?"

"Well we only bring one person each. Then usually Stacey "steals" my date or whatever. but I don't know what were going to do this time."

Caden chuckles, "That's sounds fun. Why don't you think your going to do it this year." He ask.

Jace stays quite for a moment then he says, "What subject d-do want to do this time for the project."

As school ends Jace was down and went home first before he saw Stacey. Stacey walks out of school with Jax. They were laughing together really hard. Jax hugs Stacey as they let go Stacey was trying to find Jace.

"Jace?" Stacey said looking for him, a girl walks up to her.

"I saw Jace walking that way." The girl with the beautiful green eyes.

Stacey blushes really hard, "Umm..thank you.."

"Are you alright? Your face is red"

"Yes I am..thank you..." Stacey smiles softly as she walks home where Jace was headed to. As Stacey was walking home, she keeps think about that girl. "She was so gorgeous and beautiful." Stacey kept blushing and smiling as she couldn't stop. Stacey wasn't paying attention and bumps into someone.

"Hey, watch where your going!" A familiar voice said.

"I'm sorry..I didn't mean to." Stacey said standing up and it was Brett as she sees who she bumped into. "Oh Brett sorry."

"Stacey? It's fine just watch where you're going please." Brett said

Stacey nods and continues to walk home. Brett sighs and regrets what he said. "Darn it." he muttered. "what's a matter with you?" Brett was beating himself up and decided to continue to walk home.
