15 You Can't Prove It

Vera loved being able to go to school with Casey. She was friendly enough with people in her other classes but still hung out with him at lunch and in P.E.

It was nice automatically having someone to partner with for things like tennis and being able to jog together when they had to run. Neither of them were really runners and they laughed over how out of shape they were. 

They dominated in the weightlifting unit though because they had been lifting heavy furniture for so long. Everyone kind of looked at them like they were some sort of freaks when that happened because they lifted even more than the guys on the football team without breaking a sweat.

Casey was out sick though one day and she had to team up with someone else practicing basketball passes. A junior boy she knew on sight but hadn't ever talked to aside from when they were on the same flag football team a while back.
