9 Do You Want a Kid?

They left and in 20 minutes, they were standing in front of the huge LIQuan Company building.

The LIQuan Company building was the largest building in the Jin Province. The building had 52 floors, and the 52nd floor was solely reserved for Lu Chenjun and his assistant, Fang Shi.

Elena and Mila entered the building but were stopped at the front lobby. A young lady worked there and asked them who they were.

"Hello, I am Jin Yinghui. I am looking for Mr. Lu."

"Are you looking for Lu Chenjun? Did you schedule a meeting before?"

"No, but can you call him and tell him I am looking for him."

"I'm sorry, I'm afraid I can't do that." The lady sat back down and made it clear that further discussion wasn't an option.

Just as Elena and Mila were about to leave, they heard a voice behind them shout, "Miss Jin Yinghui?"

Elena turned around and saw a familiar-looking guy. That guy was standing next to Lu Chenjun when he had visited the set yesterday.

"Oh, Miss Jin Yinghui, I am Fang Shi, Mr. Lu's assistant. Are you here to look for Mr. Lu?"

"Yes, is there a way I could see him?"

"I can take you up," the guy said as he turned and looked at Mila.

"I'm afraid this lady next to you will have to wait down here though."

Elena looked at Mila, "Why?"

The assistant laughed, "Few people could go up to Mr. Lu's office. I might even get punished for bringing you up, so I definitely shouldn't take this lady up."

Mila shrugged and told Elena that she would wait for her.

Elena followed Fang Shi into a special elevator on the side, and he clicked the 52nd button. The ride to the 52nd floor was less than a minute. As the elevator door opened, Elena saw a huge staircase.

Fang Shi stepped out of the elevator and Elena followed.

The 52nd floor was huge. To the left, there was a small desk, which Elena guessed belonged to Fang Shi. There was a staircase in the middle, and if you walked up, there was a huge door. Fang Shi knocked on the door before entering a code, and the door automatically opened.

Elena followed Fang Shi into the room, and she spotted Lu Chenjun sitting behind a huge desk piled with papers and folders.

Lu Chenjun didn't look up until Fang Shi said that Jin Yinghui was here. Lu Chenjun dropped his pen and leaned back against his chair.

"Have you finally finished thinking? Fang Shi, close the door when you leave."

Fang Shi left, looking dejected, as he hoped that maybe he could listen to some gossip.

Elena walked up closer to Lu Chenjun and smiled. "I thought about it, and I think that dating you would be a good decision."

Lu Chenjun looked up in amusement before asking, "What good would dating you bring?"

Elena thought about this and said confidently, "You would have a very pretty girlfriend to look at."

Lu Chenjun laughed at this arrogant comment and pulled out a cigarette.

Elena looked at the cigarette and asked, "Do you want a kid?"

After the question left her mouth, she realized that the question was asked in a way that would lead to misunderstandings.

Lu Chenjun furrowed his brows, "No, why? You want one with me?"

Elena looked down, "No. Then you can keep smoking."

Lu Chenjun looked at the cigarette in his fingers and realized that she was talking about the birth defects from smoking. He took another drag from the cigarette before throwing it into the ash pan.

"So, since you agreed, we need to talk about you being my girlfriend."

Elena raised one eyebrow as Lu Chenjun continued, "We need to sign a contract." He pulled out a piece of paper, "There are only three simple rules to being my girlfriend. One, there cannot be any physical contact between us greater than a hug. No kissing and don't even think about climbing onto my bed. Second, while we are dating, you cannot have a loving relationship with any other man. Finally, we break up when I want to. I am the only person in this relationship that can break up with you, whenever, wherever."

Elena took over the paper and looked through the contract. She didn't want any physical contact, not even a hug. She won't be dating any other man anytime soon. They will be breaking up in less than two weeks so who said it didn't matter.

"Can I add another rule?"

Lu Chenjun glared at her, "No other woman has ever asked to add another rule."

"Rule number 4: Let's not search for or get to know too much of each other's private information during the time we are together."

Lu Chenjun took some time to think about this, "Sure, I agree."

Elena smiled and signed the agreement, then handed it back to Lu Chenjun.

"Can you take a picture of the agreement and email it to me?"

Lu Chenjun looked at the agreement, "No need to email it. Give me your phone number, I can text it to you."

Lu Chenjun took out his phone and took a picture of the agreement. After Elena received the picture, she immediately saved it into her photo album.

Elena put her phone away, "I am confused about one thing. If you don't want any physical contact and you don't like your relationships to be over two weeks, what is the point of having a girlfriend?"

"You don't seem really happy to be my girlfriend?"

Elena didn't say anything and waited for Lu Chenjun to answer her question.

"Didn't you come up with rule number four. This is my private information, and this has nothing to do with you. As my girlfriend, you will go out to eat with me and you can ask for money from me. Understand?"

Elena nodded and didn't ask further. This relationship was going to end in two weeks anyway. There was no point in getting to know Lu Chenjun. She should just think about how she could get the most benefits out of these two weeks.

Lu Chenjun put the paper back down onto his messy table and opened his arms, "Now since you are my girlfriend, how about a hug?"
