64 Are You Stupid

Fang Shi lifted his head and said in a mocking tone, "I am assuming Miss Chu Hua doesn't want to get tied up and dragged into the car, right?"

Chu Hua nervously looked up and realized that Fang Shi didn't seem to be joking. She angrily marched over to the car, purposely bumping into Fang Shi's shoulder on the way. Chu Hua opened the door to the backseat and sat down so fast the car shook.

Fang Shi motioned for the workers to carry Chu Hua's luggage into the trunk of the car. After everything was put into place, Fang Shi entered the car and drove away.

"Where are we going?" Chu Hua asked.

"Shut up!"

Fang Shi was annoyed that he had to wake up in the middle of the night to pick up this stupid woman.

Chu Hua screwed up her face in anger. Even an unimportant, little assistant was disrespecting her now!

"Fang Shi! Tell me where we are going." Chu Hua insisted on knowing their destination.

"We are going to the Daxin Hotel, now shut up." Fang Shi yawned and stretched his neck. If he doesn't get a bonus this month, he is definitely going to resign.

Of course, Fang Shi could only think about doing so in his mind. He wouldn't actually resign, as who would give up such a high-paying job? He had gone through a series of difficult tests and interviews to get this job, so he wasn't going to leave unless he got fired.

"Daxin Hotel? Did Lu Chenjun tell you to take me there?"

Fang Shi impatiently nodded and snapped angrily, "Stop talking! Can't you see I'm driving? Mr. Lu said that he will only pay five days in the hotel for you. After that. . . I don't know, you can go wander the streets."

Chu Hua became scared, "Five days?"

What can she do in five days? She doesn't know how to find a job, and she barely has any money with her.

Chu Hua's eyes darted around the car and landed on Fang Shi, "Assistant Fang, can't you help me talk to Chenjun. Please."

"No."

Chu Hua grit her teeth together and forced herself to talk nicely, "Assistant Fang, please help me. I am Chenjun's favorite person, so if you help me, I can help you get a promotion."

Fang Shi rolled his eyes. He knew Chu Hua was dumb, but he didn't expect her to be this stupid.

"Are you stupid? If I get a promotion, I would be the CEO. I am Mr. Lu's assistant, do you understand? Assistant!"

The distance to the Daxin Hotel was pretty long, but Fang Shi was able to drive quickly, and they arrived within 30 minutes.

Fang Shi unbuckled his seatbelt and looked back at Chu Hua, "Get off."

Chu Hua obediently got out of the car and watched as Fang Shi carried all of her luggage into the hotel. She didn't have much stuff, as when she came to the Jin Province, she only brought the necessities.

Fang Shi walked up to the front desk and said, "I need a one-person room."

The worker nodded politely and said, "Do you have a reservation?"

Fang Shi lost his temper, "Excuse me. I am President Lu's assistant, Fang Shi. I need a one-person room."

The worker seemed to suddenly notice, "Oh, okay. A one-person suite under President Lu's name."

The worker gulped and asked quietly, "Who's going to be paying?"

Fang Shi thought about this, "President Lu is. Put it under this card."

Fang Shi pulled out his wallet and handed the worker a black card. This card belonged to Lu Chenjun for work purposes, but Fang Shi kept it as he usually followed Lu Chenjun wherever he went.

"President Lu only wants this room for five days. No matter what anyone tells you," Fang Shi pointed to Chu Hua behind him, "Especially this woman. Only five days. No more, no less."

The worker nodded as he handed the card back to Fang Shi.

"This is your room card. The wi-fi password is written right here. During your stay, if you have any problems, dial your room number onto the landline phone and room service will be able to help you. Enjoy your stay here at the Daxin Hotel."

Fang Shi took the card and gave it to Chu Hua, "This is your room card. You have five days. Good luck!"

With that, Fang Shi walked away while yawning and hurriedly drove back to his apartment.

Chu Hua entered her room and threw her bag at the window. She angrily kicked her shoes off and untied her messy hair. Chu Hua gritted her teeth and took deep breaths, trying to control her anger.

She was so close! She was so close to having everything, and now what did she have? Five days in a cramped hotel room.

Chu Hua looked around the extravagant, five-star hotel room and groaned. She couldn't stop now.

Chu Hua knew. She had chosen this path, so she had to walk to the end.

Elena gradually opened her eyes and stretched her arms out. She yawned and sat up, squinting her eyes to read the time on the clock.

She let out a little gasp and her mouth fell open. She only had thirty minutes to get to the warehouse!

Elena immediately jumped off the bed and began changing into the set of clothes she left out on the bed yesterday.

She had completely forgotten to set an alarm yesterday as she was so tired, and now she doesn't have time to drop her stuff back at her apartment anymore.

Elena quickly washed her face and brushed her teeth before dragging her suitcases down the stairs, creating a commotion as the wheels hit the stairs.

Lu Chenjun was eating breakfast in the dining room, and he looked up when he heard the noisy disturbance coming from the staircase.

He walked out and saw Elena hastily putting on her shoes with one hand on the handle of the suitcase.

His lips broke out into a smile and he walked towards the door. However, before he could say anything, Elena quickly opened the door, pushed her luggage out, and left.

He froze, holding a piece of bread in his hand. Unlike normal days, he didn't get angry. Instead, his smile grew bigger and he happily walked back to the dining room.

---

Elena had to keep her luggage in the car as she entered the warehouse. The director was getting ready to film, so Elena hurriedly did her makeup by herself.

She rushed out and immediately apologized for having everyone wait for her. Elena had another crying scene, and the director reluctantly passed it after two takes.

She had a bunch of scenes to film as there was only today and tomorrow left before she would be done with all the filming! Tomorrow, she will be finished with her first drama in China.

Elena grabbed a bento box for her and Mila and returned to her changing room. She had about 10 more scenes to film after eating lunch, so she had to eat quickly.

Su Yan was finished with all of her scenes for the day, so she walked out of the warehouse with her assistant trailing closely behind her.

As she was leaving, she saw the security guard arguing with a woman, preventing her from entering.

Su Yan didn't pay much attention to them at first, but she stopped when she heard the woman speak.

"Let me in! I am Jin Yinghui's friend!"

Su Yan told her assistant to leave without her, and she turned around, facing the woman's back.

Su Yan walked up to the lady and tapped her on the shoulder, "Hello."
