" Be strong, Priya. He will be fine. Nothing will happen to him. The senior-most doctor giving me treatment" Dhruv assured him.

" Please stay out…" the nurse informed us.

" Do you think about yourself?  what if Amrutha returns…."  Karthik's mom questioned me.

" If his wife comes back then I will go to the hostel. Don't worry about me. From my childhood, I have been living alone. Loneliness is not new to me but I am not alone now anymore. I have my baby, my hope to live..." I said with a weak smile.

" I am giving you fifteen days to come to our home. From now you are my daughter. I am always there for you.  " Aunty wiped my tears and kissed my forehead.

" Dhruv ..... Take care of my daughter. Hope this time you don't disappoint me...." she instructed Dhruv.

He nodded his head and said " Yes..... Amma .... I will take care of them" as an assurance.
