31 When Was I Not Better

When his thoughts were worrying him as they ran faster than the speediest thing in the world called light, it came to a sudden halt when he heard, his wife Song Yi's voice calling him,

''Mo Cheng what are you thinking about and will you call the doctor when we go back to our room?'', asked Song Yi as she noticed her husband thinking about something.

''Oh, sweetie yes of course I will call the doctor when we go back to our room and as for what I was thinking, I was thinking about which doctor we should call, which doctor should we call?'' questioned Mo Cheng to his wife as he lied through his teeth.

''Oh so you were thinking about which doctor we should call after going to our room instead of eating, Mo Cheng let us think about it later as for now you eat'' said song yi.

''Love are you jealous that I was thinking about a doctor instead of you and is that why you are asking me to eat?'', asked Mo Cheng flirtingly even though he knew that his question was senseless and his wife was not a jealous type of women but he still wants to pull his wife's legs and make her angry so that he can see her lovely angry face, after all, he didn't know if he will get a chance to see that angry face in the future.

''Huuaa''scoffed Song Yi as she continued saying, ''Your saying that I was jealous because you were thinking about the doctor instead of me, dream on man! , and it is not a big deal you were thinking about the doctor, the doctor should think about you back too and even he or she thought about you it would be them thinking that what kind of odd species you are and how to treat this new species and treat this annoyingly odd brain of yours, said Song Yi nonchalantly for which Mo Cheng did not look angry but instead he looked at her with the mixture of love, admiration, and amusement and said, ''Love it looked like your getting better at bullying me now''.

''When was I not better?'', asked Song Yi smirking at him.

And that smirk said it all, and suddenly Mo Cheng remembered one of his unforgetting memory from the past , that was the first time he met his wife after many years, after all, he went to the same school as his wife Song Yi but he was shifted later and then during his university, he met her but time worked against him and certain things made it hard for him to be with her so he went abroad to complete his masters after few years he came to china and accidentally met her with a child in her arms, and when he asked ''Who the baby was?'' she said it was her baby, it was like it all happened yesterday and she answered only to freak him out but still he chased her and now he was here sitting next to his first love after overcoming all his struggles and obstacles to get her hands.

This memory of the past gave him goosebumps and blood rushed to his face, turning his handsome face into crimson red, he was so madly in love with her the first time he saw her and while chasing her but after all these years he not only love her more with each passing second but she also became a drug to him, which he wants more and more, which is so addictive to the point of making him tying her to himself, thinking about this now, he was sad that he might leave her tomorrow but he was already very happy and grateful that he got a chance to live with her. Sometimes he used to think that it was more than enough for thousands of life for him to live with her, was what he thought to himself when he selfishly want her more and when he became a drug addict to the drug called Song Yi he knew he was selfish he was greedy so he used to say these above words in his mind to control his greed, now he was grateful and wants his wife to live a happy life after he leaft, even though he was greedy and selfish his love for her was even more than the amount of his selfishness and greed, so he wants nothing but to see his wife happy from heaven or hell, because he was not sure were he would be after his death, but that did not change the fact he wants her to live a beautiful life and wants her to find a new love for herself to protect her and Song Shen from this cruel world, even though it meant that he wants to see his wife, his love, his life, his obsession, his passion, his drug, his sweet poison, his soul, his everything with some other man other than himself, he still did not care about it because his love for her is more than that of his possessiveness towards her, and he only want her to be loved and to see her happy from wherever place he was after he leave her, if ever he saw the feeling of anything but happiness in her he could kill that person no matter what the reason of her sorrow was and whom ever it might be who caused that sadness, he will drag that person to hell along with him to make sure to burn that person crisp in hell after he turned into a ghost, if he saw something bad happening to his only love and her little nephew he will come back as a ghost to fight their enimes, their enemies are his enemies and to protect his loved ones, his already crimson face turned into bashful, shy, shock, sad, caring, grateful, happy, possessive, sad, calm, angry,affirmative and at last confirmation was seen in his handsome face within a minute, which went unnoticed by Song Yi.

But this time someone noticed it surprisingly unlike the former times that too through his hard to predict face.

''Uncle, Mo Cheng'', called Song Shen, seeing the fast change in his uncle's face it was as fast as a chameleon would change it's color, after hearing that voice Mo Cheng came out of the gaze and looked at his caller only to notice Song Shen looking deep into his soul.

Seeing his wife Song Yi's nephew, Song Shen looking at him like scanning deep into his soul, it made Mo Chen feel a little uncomfortable as he felt exposed of his feelings, but it did not affect him as he is a king in changing his expression within a fraction of second, and his face suddenly changed into his ever go-lucky, cool, face and confidence was glimmering in his eyes which didn't go unnoticed by Song Shen; Song Yi who was eating turned to her nephew and to her husband only to see him smiling at her lovingly she sighed seeing that smiley face and again turned her head to her nephew Song Shen and asked,

''Ah, Shen? what is it do you need anything''

''It is nothing aunt I just saw uncle Mo Cheng look a little...''

Before he was able to complete his sentence, he was interrupted by Mo Cheng

''He just saw me sad right? Shen'', asked Mo Cheng,

It was more like a confirmation than a question as if asking Song Shen to go along with his story,

Song Shen understood that and this time even Song Yi got the tone of the so-called confirmative question, so she stopped her husband from saying no more by raising her hands to him signaling him to stop talking and she turned to Song Shen and asked him,

''What is it? Ah shen''

Song Yi asked Song Shen instead of believing her husband as she saw her husband anxiously interrupting Song Shen as if he was afraid to get exposed and she also knows that her nephew would never lie to her at least that was what she thought.

Song Shen who was questioned suddenly stared blankly at his aunt and turned his head to look at Mo Cheng

While Mo Cheng, anxiously interpreted her and cried '' Love your heartless, even though I said, I was sad you did not ask why?''

Song Yi tiredly turned to her husband while saying ''Man why are you so dramati..'' words stopped suddenly as she saw her husband's truly sad face, after a very long time she saw her husband's sad face she almost forgot that sad face of her husband if not for today she would not able to remember that face, it somehow gave a ticklish weird gushed feeling in her heart but before it could reach her transparent face, Mo Cheng again spoke,

''You know why? after you mentioning your bullying skills, I suddenly remembered when you said you were married back then when we met after many years in the past ''.
