Chapter 32- Stop Ogling Him
When they got farther away from the crowd, Delilah suddenly stopped walking, Fredrick halted and turned around.
"Why did you do that?" Delilah questioned as she pulled her wrist out of Fredrick's grip, she crossed her arms over her chest.
"I… I saw you were being bullied", Fredrick said shyly, his hand rubbed the back of his head and a faint blush crept onto his face.
Delilah's jaw dropped as she stared in disbelief at the teenager before her. "He looks so cute, I want to pinch his adorable flushed cheeks".
When Delilah realized what was in her thoughts, she facepalmed, stupid… so stupid! Focus on Harrison.
Something crossed her mind, why was he helping her? He never showed any interest in her and hadn't talked to her since he helped her in the rain.
"Thanks for the assistance, but I have to go, have a good day", Delilah twisted her lips into a smile and turned around to leave.
"Can I walk you home?" Asked Fredrick as he stepped before her.
"NO!" Delilah's voice was firm as she rejected his offer, and continued to walk.
" Can we exchange contacts then?" Fredrick asked and Delilah froze, she turned around and said in a cool but harsh tone,
" Classmate Frederick, why don't you meet with your childhood friend and ask my contacts from her…. Thank you for today and as I said earlier, have a good day", she turned around and left.
Delilah bit her lower lip as she walked, she couldn't believe she just rejected her crush and spoke back when Amy's group attacked her, she hit her head. Today is a not her day.
Fredrick was astonished as he watched her walk away. If he asked a girl something like that, she'll have fainted from excitement.
However, this girl…. Something's changed about her that he couldn't understand, and she rejected me? She rejected me!
Fredrick smiled charmingly, this was the first time he got rejected by a girl. It was an incredible feeling, unexplainable, but it felt good.
Suddenly, someone yanked his arm and turned him around,
"Freddie, wh-why did you protect her, huh? Why did you do that to me before my juniors and my friends? I am your childhood friend, not Delilah!?" Amy cried.
"Why are you a bully? Why did you bully her?" Fredrick pinched his temple.
"I never bullied her", Amy sobbed harder. The truth was, she does love Fredrick but Harrison Su is so handsome she can't get over him, so why can't she have them both.
"You almost slapped her!" Fredrick frowned.
"No, I didn't and what if I did, why are you being so paranoid over this? Why do you choose to her side? We grew up together!", Amy whined.
"*sigh*…. Fine, I am sorry. I won't protect her any more, but promise you won't bully her again"
Amy gritted her teeth and cold hostility flashed across her eyes, "Mm! I won't", she nodded and sniffed as she wiped her tears. She has no idea what happened to Delilah, but she won't let her off that easily. What guts does she has to act that way before her!?
"Let me walk you home", Fredrick said with an enchanting smile, Amy nodded and the two left.
