Chapter 4: First date

Was Haruto really, my chosen one? I love him, I know I really do. I was carried away with my thoughts and suddenly he said:

"Would you be my female friend"

I knew this is how it will end up and I said:

"Yes I will, but can I trust you?" I asked him

"Of course, you've known me for months now and I am not hiding anything from you. So yes you can definitely trust me." Haruto said

"Can I ask you a question" I asked

"You've already started; you can ask me any question" Haruto said as he gave me a charming smile.

"If you had a lot of money, what would you use it for" I asked him

"If I had money, I would use it to take good care of my sister and of course you the love of my life" He said

His voice was heartwarming. The first time I laid my eyes on him, it was love at first sight, I loved him. But if I try hard to win him over, he would think I'm a desperate jerk, and if there is anything I hate, it is looking desperate.

"Could I really trust him? What if he hates me, when I tell him?" This were the thoughts that ran into my head.

I summoned all the courage I had and I said:

"What will you do if you found out I've been hiding something from you, will you be mad?" I asked Haruto with tears rolling down my cheeks

"I don't care, in as much as you trust me and I've told you my past and you still like me the way I am, I won't get upset" Haruto told me as he gave a hopeful smile.

In that case, I won't need to hide my secret from you anymore.

"What secret are you talking about? Haruto asked

"I am the crown princess of Ei sei kingdom, I journeyed to this town in a quest to find the missing piece of heart and also hide from my enemy which I cannot battle, will you help me?" I responded.

"I can't believe you kept these away from me" Haruto said.

"I should have known that you will be upset, I am sorry" I said as I ran away and left Haruto alone on the moonlight bridge.

Hina! Hina! He called from behind but I didn't answer.

He ran and he finally caught up with me. During trainings when I raced with the slaves and some of the guards, none of them caught up with me. Haruto must be a really fast runner.

"Look Hina, you've found your chosen one which is me, we are in this together, I promise to stand by you no matter what, although, I'm not really happy that you kept this away from me, but I know it wasn't really easy for you" Haruto said.

I gave him a hug, he pulled me closer to his chest and gave me a kiss on the cheek. I felt butterflies in my stomach and I gave a little smile. His chest felt like a soft pillow I would love to rest my head on for the rest of the century. Then he pulled me away from his chest gently.

"It's getting late, my sister is probably worried about us, we've had enough for the night." Haruto said as he held my hands with his soft hands and we walked into the dead night. I guess we were moonlight lovers.

"Why is your sister behaving weird to me? One minute she is happy with me when you are not around, and then the other minute when she sees me talking to you, she starts behaving strange" I asked Haruto while we were walking

"Actually, we were both alone before you came, we were like parents to each other and when you came, I guess she became jealous and she is missing her elder brother" Haruto said as he held my hands tightly.

"Well, I didn't know it was like that, I will try to talk to her" I told Haruto

"That is good, your majesty" Haruto said and gave a bow.

"Stop, don't call me that. I told Haruto and gave him a little punch on his shoulder.

"We arrived Haruto's cottage and I could vividly see Yua at the dining area looking worried.

We both entered and she embraced her brother and told him how worried she had been. Immediately, Haruto excused himself because he wanted to freshen up but I knew he excused himself because he wanted me to talk to Yua.

"Yua, can I have a moment with you?" I asked her

"So you can influence me the way you influenced my brother to stay out late" She responded in a cold voice.

"No Yua, I am not influencing you or anybody in anyway, I just want to talk" I told her

"Well, carry on" she responded

"I am sorry if I am consuming your brother's time in any way possible, I love your brother" I told her

If you love him, why don't you care about him just the way I do

I told Yua I loved her brother more than how she even thinks

"Well I didn't know it was like that and I just want you to keep loving him" Yua said as tears rolled down her cheeks.

I went to inform Haruto in the room that I had talked to Yua.

"That is more like it" He said and gave me a peck"

"Anything for dinner?" Haruto asked

"Yes of course, there is beans tonight" I responded

Immediately Haruto finished his dinner, he told me he had a surprise for me, oh I wonder what it is.

"Haruto, you are the greatest thing that ever happened to me, I love you with my heart'' I told him

"I love you to Hina" He responded as he put me on his chest and he kissed my head.

Yua just watched us from a corner and gave me a dirty look, at that moment I didn't care about what she thought, or about what anybody thought, I only cared about Haruto and myself.
