chapter 21

Ryan is now a bit confused. If jazzelle is not talking about him then whom is she talking. Who is there, she wants the be groom be like.

Jazzelle is so clumsy and careless that she doesn't even know that she shouldn't log in her ID in someone else's system. Last when she visited Ryan's home she logged in her diary in his system after preparing for the presentation.

Next day when Ryan turned on his computer, he got to know that jazzelle makes video diary and now he can see it as well. And first video he saw was when jazzelle was complimenting his sleeping face. He heard her praising him. And he couldn't help himself from watching her. He sees her smiles everyday.

Next morning in office.

Jazzelle is not here yet. Let see what Ryan Alves is doing.

He is in his office. He is only walking left and right. He sat on his chair and put his hand on his forehead.

He is going out. He opened the door and he stepped out.

He is looking for someone.

He stopped a passing by employee and asked her,

" have you seen my secretary jazzelle."

She said, " department head! she isn't here yet."

"I see. What about manager miss Elsa?" Ryan asked her.

" Sir! She went to the PR department to gather some documents." She replied.

" Okay go on. Thank you for your hard work." Ryan Alves said and greeted her.

" Department head! manager is here."

She pointed her with her finger and said, "over there."

Then she greeted the department head and left.

Ryan is now going to the manager.

Manager Elsa is greeting him with a smile, "ohhh department head! Good morning. Are you looking for something."

Ryan seems in rush. He smiled slightly and greeted her,

" good morning miss manager. I need to talk to you."

" yeah sure sir. Please go ahead " manager politely said.

" We are not recruiting any employees in our department, right?"

he is now a bit relaxed. His voice tone and breaths are normal.

" Yes sir." Manager nodded her head and politely said.

" then we won't accept any resignation for time being." He is slightly smiling.

" who is resigning?" manager asked.

" no one! And no-one should. You are in charge of resignations and resumes, right? So If you receive any resignation letter you must come to me. Don't accept any resignation without me knowing, okay?" he sounds like he is trying to convince her.

"Okay." Manager looks a quite confused. But she nodded her head. She has a weird and confused smile.

Ryan smiled. And he looks relieved.

He is back to his office.

Jazzelle is here. She looks quite energetic. She is happily greeting everyone.

Jazzelle is on her desk.

She has a pile of files on her desk. As soon as she saw it she put her both hands on her forehead and while pulling her hair, she said

"Aishhh!! Why do I have much pending work even when I am working so hard everyday."

Poor jazzelle. She seems frustrated. But she looked at Ryan who is working in his office.

Her frustration faded away as soon as she looked at him. She has a smile on her face. But this smile looks sorrowful.

Jazzelle logged in her diary and started to make video diary

" should I say goodbye to him. No! No! I can't. I can't say farewell to him. I'll just give my resignation letter to manager Elsa and then I'll leave. Just one more day. Today is my last day here." Jazzelle feels like crying.

Jazzelle is doing her work, " I must complete my work before I leave."

two hours later

Jazzelle stretches her body out of exhaust. She is looking for someone. She is going near to Daniel's desk.

Daniel is working. He sees jazzelle and says

" ohh jazzelle."

" Daniel you know that I am going back, right."

Jazzelle sounds very low.

" yeah, your father called me, he wants me to take you home." Daniel said

" As expected." Jazzelle is feeling extremely down.

Daniel is taking her to the office canteen. Daniel took two coffee and is going to jazzelle.

He gives her the coffee.

" jazzelle! I know you don't wanna go but you already knew this day will come, then why are you so sad."

Jazzelle takes the coffee. After taking a sip she says,

" we are already aware that we all are going to die one day, but still when someone passes away why do we cry?"

Daniel raised his hand straight and said, " I admit my defeat."

Then he says " if you don't want to go then..."

Before he say something jazzelle said,

" I am going. Daniel I have a favour to ask."

" Anything for you." That cute and flirtatious expression.

She is telling him about Rachelle. She tells him about their situation.

" Daniel! Rachelle must come back. I will do everything I can. But she will be alone here."

" don't worry jazzelle. I will look after her. But if she can come back, you can also." Daniel looks upset.

Jazzelle smiled. She messes his hair up and says " you took me here to cheer me up or being upset by yourself. Let's go." She sounds cheerful. " So are you coming with us?"

" ofcourse, father has asked me to take you home." Daniel is smiling brightly. They both started to laugh.

" father! Very soon you will have a brother in law." She laughed

" jazzelle!!!" Daniel is irritated.

They are back to the workplace.

Jazzelle is looking for manager Elsa. And she founds her.

" Manger!" she greets manager and says " I want to tell you something."

" Hmm say." Manager Elsa said.

Jazzelle gives her an envelope and says,

" thank you for taking care of me and sorry for troubling you."

" why are you resigning? I told you it will be hard to work both as a secretary and intern at the same time."

" it's not that. It was fun to work with you." Jazzelle smiled.

" now if you want to resign there is nothing I can do. But you need to give this to department head."

Jazzelle is shocked. She thought she will leave without meeting him to avoid the pain of farewell,

" what? But you are in charge of resignations, right?"

" Yes but department head told me that he will be in charge of resignations from today on."

Jazzelle doesn't know what to do now. She just smiled slightly and left.

Ryan is working on his computer and he sees jazzelle.

He is calling her.

Jazzelle's desk phone is ringing. She picks up the phone,

" hello!"

" if you are done with the documents take them here."

" okay superior." She sounds down because she is upset. She hangs up the phone.

Ryan was going to say something but she hung up on him. Ryan slowly puts the phone down. His face expressions are quite funny but cute.

Jazzelle is going to his (Ryan's office). She is there.

Jazzelle raises her hand to knock the door but before she does, Ryan says, " come in."

Jazzelle gets in.

" Put the documents here." Ryan said.

Jazzelle puts the documents. Jazzelle says, " superior."

" Hmmm" Ryan replied.

" I..... I am.." jazzelle is unable to say anything. She feels like crying.

" what is it. Sit down first." Ryan knows that she is going to hand over her resignation.

Jazzelle takes a deep breath. She put her resignation letter on the table and said, " I am resigning."

she is assuming that maybe he will stop her or ask her that what happened. But he took the resignation letter and said,

" okay!"

Jazzelle is looking at him without blinking her eyes. She barely could controls her tears.

She turned and when she took her first step out, Ryan said

" you will come back for sure so no need to say farewell." Ryan already watched the video diary she made earlier.

Jazzelle turned to Ryan. She is lost.

She is just looking at him. She doesn't understand what does he mean.

He said, " it's not your last day. Make sure you score well in your exams. We will meet soon."
