I am heading to the office.

I have forgotten about the nightmare like it never happened.

I am here.

Daniel is at the entrance. He must be mad at me. But he isn't looking mad. He is walking fast. He is anxiously waiting for me I think. He looks tensed.

I am going near him and I put my hand on his shoulder from behind and said,

" Daniel, what's the matter?" he turned back and he is looking at me I smiled and asked,

" did someone stole your lunch." A bad sense of humour.

he held my shoulders with his hands and he is looking at me with his anxious eyes and says,

" jazzelle, I heard you went to hotel last night with a guy, is it true?"

I nodded my head and said, " yes Daniel listen to me."

He stepped two steps back and now he is overreacting over nothing. He put his palm on his heart and said ,

" ahh my heart hurts,"

he came near me and said out loud,

" jazzelle how can you be so cruel you went on a dinner with some other guy that's what I planned for both of us. Didn't your heart ache that time?"

It's embarrassing. Everyone is looking at us, it seems like I am a wench who is two timing. I want to kill him right now.

I go to him and whispered,

" Daniel, stop overreacting. it's not what you are thinking, I went there with superior."

" superior, you mean department head," he shouted,

" is something going on between you two. You are even working as his secretary's substitute."

He made such startled face. Everyone is looking at me and talking, though I can't hear them but I know they talking about me. Chat groups will burst with this gossip.

" nothing is going on between us." I gritted my teeth and said.

"Really?"

he is looking like a little kid, he is looking at me with shiny and hopeful eyes like a kid asks for a chocolate from his mother,

I held his wrist and am taking him with me. We are at our department corridor.

He is looking at his wrist that I've held it, his smile is annoying me

I left his wrist and said, " Daniel you misunderstood it. Last night, we worked overtime that's why we went for dinner. And I didn't know you've made a reservation."

" So you and him are only in a professional relationship."

" Yeah, we are just colleagues. What else can we be? He is just a boring and aloof boss who orders me around and always talks about work. " I sound irritated. I just remembered he talking about work files while holding my hand.

He exhaled breath calmly " huhh !! That's a relief then." He is smiling like fool right now.

" of course, I am never going to fall for him. He is Workaholic tyrant. who always talks about work" I sound arrogant and cold.

" then what do you want to talk about?" A voice behind me.

I turned around, " oh my!!" It startled me. It's superior.

" Answer me! What should we talk about." He doesn't look angry but it's scary.

I put a big and foolish smile on my face and said, " good morning superior. I was just.." I am rubbing behind my ear with my finger. I don't know what to say.

" are you done with the work files." Superior said

" I'll do it now." I bowed down my head and said

" stop fooling around and complete the task quickly." Strict boss tone.

" yes superior." I energetically said.

He doesn't say anything. He is going to his cabin.

He is stopped, " if you think talking about work is boring, how about quitting."

He walks away fast. Daniel and I are standing there. Daniel tries to say something but I stopped him by hand gesture.

"Why is he so mad? Even if he is mad, how can he ask me to quit? Cold blooded rude TPS Dracula. Is he mad because I badmouth about him " My mind is full of thoughts right now.

After getting scold, or should I say after being threatened by the TPS Dracula I am on my desk. I know talking bad people's back is bad, and I was wrong.

But I was irritated by Daniel and also I was mad at him for giving me nightmares.

He is in his office.

I am working.

Half an hour later.

I am done with those four files he asked me to do.

I am going to his office.

Knock knock!! I knocked the door.

Voice behind the door, " come in."

I get in.

I put the files on the table and said,

" superior, I've completed this."

He Isn't even looking at me and said,

" ummm, any updates."

" Yeah, we need to put some recruitment advertisements for legal department employment."

" Make qualifications and requirements list, and put an advertisement on internet."

" Okay! Is there something else."

" What about new recruits."

" We've received many resumes for finance and public relations department jobs, the selection is completed, next is interview procedure."

" I won't take the interview, tell the department members to handle it."

" Okay!"

" make a coffee for me and then you can leave."

" yes superior."

I made the coffee, and now I am going to give him.

I put the mug on his table and said,

" your coffee."

I see his necktie, he didn't tie it nicely, " ummmm" he is looking at me and said,

" what's wrong.?"

I am pointing my finger on his necktie and I said, " your tie."

" ah is it messy."

I nodded my head as yes

He slightly grins and turned his chair to me and said,

" tie it perfectly then." He untied the tie and he gave it in my hand.

" me?? I don't know how to tie a necktie."

Embarrassment is on my face that I can't do anything.

He stood up and toom his necktie and said,

" give to me." He placed his necktie on me and is tying it.

I stepped back and said in a trembling voice,

" wh-what are you doing?"

" I am teaching you how to tie a necktie. As a secretary you should know how to do this small stuff. "

He pulled me with the necktie.

" Look carefully, first Place tie around the neck. ... Cross the wide end over the thinner end. ... Run wide end under tie and pull it across again. ... Pull the wide end through the center. ... Loop through the knot. ... Tighten the knot.."

I kept constantly staring at him. My heart is fluttering.

" it is done."

He looked at me and we caught each other's eyes.

I rapidly looked away and stepped back. He loosened up the hand.

" I got it." I said and untied the tie.

I placed the tie around his neck. And following the instructions step by step.

I am still trying to do his necktie and he said,

" about earlier." I raised up my head a bit and looked at him.

I said, " ummm." I am still making his necktie.

" you said, I am boring and aloof. Do you mean it."

He sounds cute. It's my first time seeing him hesitating like this.

I smiled slightly.

" Why are you smiling."

" It's like this ." I tighten the knot.

" I did it."

I have a big smile face and I am so happy about tying a necktie.

He was looking at me all this time when I tied the necktie. He smiled and said,

" good job. It's the first time a woman tied my necktie."

I tilted my eyelids and smiled.

" why are you blushing?" he laughed and said.

" who is blushing? I am not."

I put hand on my cheeks and said,

" I have some work to do. Excuse me."

" aren't you going to answer me." He desperately asked

I turned around, I am trying hard to not to laugh but still I am smiling hard. I want to act cool , I said,

" not that bad."

I left his cabin. And I am on my desk. I closed my eyes and reimagined everything. I have a big smile on my face. I open my eyes and let's start working.
