Chpt #51

They finally landed.

"Hey! I've you have you not added me on WeChat!" Danny shouted.

Nancy took her luggage and quickly took the grab to the hotel. It is an hour jour from the airport to her hotel and so she took a nap.

Upon reaching to the hotel, she checks in and went up to her room. She let out a deep sigh and said "let's move on" and she went to her bed to take a nap.

Ryan and Desmond flew back to Shanghai. Ryan was excited to meet Nancy and he quickly rushed to the hospital the first thing he landed.

He ran to her ward but only to realize that it is empty.

"Nurse! Where is the patient? Nancy?" Ryan panicks.

"Oh she has been discharged 2 days ago" The nurse replied.

Ryan ran his house, Nancy's apartment but nowhere to be found. He calls up Lucy and only to know that Nancy already flew off.

"Desmond, track for me where is Nancy" Ryan calls Desmond for help.

Ryan went back home and tried to call her several times but it couldn't get through.

Days went by…

Ryan as usual were strict at work and flares up easily at every little mistakes.

Ryan didn't give up looking for her. He even tried to WeChat her but was blocked, he even tried emailing her but no reply.

Every night after work, Ryan will buy a carton of beer and drink it to make him sleep. Desmond will check on him once in awhile to make sure that everything is fine.

Back at SOHO, the relationship between the staff and Fanny seems to be getting better. Every week, Fanny will buy them breakfast just to win their hearts.

However, what happen the other day has drifted her relationship with Fanny even further. Ryan and Desmond never stops to investigate what has happened the other day, though it has been 2 months now after the incident.

One day, Desmond happen to saw Fanny phone in the pantry left unattended. He was curious about what Nancy said 2 months ago and so he went to take a look if there's any evidence left behind to clear her name.

And Desmond senses were right.

There was indeed a personal message to Nancy that Fanny will handle it. He took photo of it and quickly reports it to Ryan.

Ryan and Desmond both review back the cctv and only finally see what Fanny has done, which is deleting the messages from Nancy phone.

Ryan was so annoyed he bang the table and said "I'm going to find Chairman Gu and get Fanny fire immediately!"

Ryan recorded the video of the cctv, took his car key and rushed out.
