Chpt #49
It has been almost 2 hours the doctor tried to safe her. She lost alot of blood during the car accident and the fact that she has low blood in the first place.
The doctor finally went out from the surgery room.
"Doctor…doctor…how's Nancy!!" Ryan ran towards the doctor and grab his arm.
"She is fine now but due to she lost too much blood, it might take some time for her to wake up. We still need to continue to monitor" The doctor replied.
The nurses pushes Nancy out to bring her to the ward.
Ryan stayed with Nancy throughout.
He read books to her, sing a song, watched her favourite drama and variety shows.
Ryan will wipe Nancy, moist her lips and tidy her hair and clip her nails.
It has been 1 month now and Nancy is still in coma.
"Ryan, we will need to meet a client in New York and I've booked tonights flight. We will be there for 5 days" Desmond called up Ryan.
Ryan looks at Nancy and he acknowledged on leaving.
"Wait for me, I'll definitely come back" Ryan kissed Nancy forehead.
The moment Ryan stepped out, Nancy fingers moved. Ryan already left the hospital when the nurses came in to look at Nancy.
Lucy happens to drop by and saw Nancy awake. She quickly ran towards her and hugs her.
"Thank god…you are finally awake!" Lucy cried.
"Lu…cy-jie…" Nancy softly whispered.
"Based on records everything is fine now. You can be discharged in 2 days time. Remember to rest." The doctor explained.
"That's great! Let me tell Randy!" Lucy was too excited to break the news to Ryan.
Nancy stops Lucy from calling Ryan and said "Jie, don't call him. I want to stay away from him and calm myself down"
Lucy who is worried, stops from making the call.
It's finally the discharge day and Lucy came over to help Nancy settle her discharge documents.
"Lucy-jie. I think after this i will take a break and travel around the world and apply to be a volunteer and helping children who are in need" Nancy smiles and hold Lucy hands.
"No matter what you do. Please stay safe and most importantly remember to come back." Lucy hugs Nancy.
Nancy laid her bed and scroll through her phone gallery. She cried as she so lots of pictures of her and Ryan. She cried till she fell asleep.
