Love in the shadows



As she walked into the dimly lit bar, Emily felt a chill run down her spine. She didn't know why, but something about the place seemed ominous. But she had to meet her friend, and this was the only place they agreed to meet. She scanned the room, looking for her friend, when her eyes met those of a mysterious man at the bar. She quickly looked away, but she couldn't shake off the feeling that he was staring at her. Emily ordered a drink and tried to relax, but she couldn't shake off the feeling of being watched.

Suddenly, she felt a tap on her shoulder. She turned around, and there he was - the mysterious man from the bar. "May I buy you a drink?" he asked, his voice smooth and deep.
