Rain

I have read a lot of stories about beautiful women and people who wander into the woods and fall in love with a hunts man or a certain beast that will transform into a handsome prince at a certain time during the relationship.Unfortunately to this day, Legend still has not told me about the good Side of Drago, do I have to whisk a wand to transform him or should I chant some string of magic words and he will turn into a tolerable beast. I don't know what I should think about being in this situation. Sky said I will be interrogated so I can't just escape or I will then be labeling myself a criminal. I don't want to find out what they do to criminals here..or actually..what if they are all in fact run away criminals ..with their beta being a dark wolf, I bet they all must be walking around freely exposing their demons.

It is hell after all.

"Akilah? " I am disturbed by a gentle knock on the door.I get up and quickly try to look presentable. Who could be so gentle in such a supposed to be Goddess forsaken place?

"You can come in" I respond as loud as I can after clearing my voice.

"Hi. I am Rain , we met before at the main castle. I was assigned by Sir Chevaz to come get you and bring you to him. "The boy whom I have known for a while now to be called Rain says. In his hands he is holding black folded fabric that looks like a shirt and some linen pants. He also has with him some black strip sandals. What in the name of I am about to join a cult is this?

" Are those for me?" I ask Rain while pointing to the items on his hands. He gently nods his head and places the clothes on top of the bed right by the edge.

"Didn't you go back with sky?..I thought you were her right hand man or something " I ask the boy while taking off the white shirt I currently have on, I think sky must have put it on for me. Rain immediately turns to look the other way and I let out a low chuckle.

"Its okay, we are both boys and you seem to be younger than me. So I definitely won't try to take advantage of you." I say to him as I continue to put my pants on.

"I am not her right hand man. She found me in the woods and raised me as her own. I belong to no one and I am not small, you are just bigger because you are a werewolf..I was turned into one so I still keep my human form and grow like them but I transform with magic when I need to run certain errands." He says with a stone face..and here I was thinking he has a sweet voice.

"Why did you stay?" I ask him again once I am done changing.

"Command" He says still with his back turned away from me. I don't know if I am hearing things but he sounds kind of sad?..but oh well, who wouldn't be living in this kind of place.

Once I am done getting myself ready , Rain leads me through the long cream white painted hallway that leads to only He knows where. After passing a few rooms , we arrive at one big black painted two sided wooden door. Rain knocks gently and it opens after the third knock.

He gestures for me to follow after him with a simple fling of his thumb over his shoulder.It seems the boy takes his tasks seriously, whatever they may be. I silently oblige and follow behind him, now that I look at him from this angle.. I can tell that he has some very huge differences compared to us Alpha wolves. He is not as big and or masculine as I and my dear friend Drago..I mean Drago. His body does show that he has had a rough life, a few battle marks adorn his skin and his hands show that he does hard labour and his torso although covered by a thick layer of clothes appears to be well shaped. He is shorter than me by about five centimetres or so..in human height he is quite tall. His hair is a shoulder length dainty auburn colour that kind of turns red each time he moves . His eyes..

" We are here" Rain says , disturbing my train of thoughts..there..green eyes!

"What!" He asks looking annoyed.

" Nothing kid, I will see you later then I guess." I say before going in through the door that lays open before me.Rain follows me in and I look at him in confusion?

" I was assigned to be present with you" He says stilll with that stone face and continues to walk ahead of me.

The moment we enter the big room filled with nothing but one huge table in the middle of the empty space , Drago is sitted there at the end of the fourteen seat dinning table which is also a royal blue colour stone with midnight black arctic scorpion dining chairs . As soon as we enter , Rain goes ahead and stands on his Right side. Well, that is awkward. I stay a bit further away from them and wait for any instructions.

"kilah?" Drago says while sipping from one of the juice glasses that had been laying half full atop the dining table.Wait..did he just call me killer?..is he that thirsty for blood?

"It is Akilah Sir." I correct him. Both him and Rain don't seem fazed by my comment, I guess they will let it slide since I don't really feel the need to be fearful or reverent. They are the ones who froze my heart.

"Mr Moonlight, I understand that you say you ended up on our grounds because of an accident..you look like a kind and honest person, but unfortunately I have met many who pretend to be angels while indeed they were devils."(like yourself) Drago continues to talk, ignoring that I have just corrected him.

" Does that mean I will not be allowed to continue my journey home? " I ask a question I very much know the answer to. Rain still stands there with his stone face, he looks like he isn't a human when he is next to Drago ..I don't blame him though..Ive had a few death flops when I first met him too.

" I have sent some of my people to properly investigate you, but do not worry..we will not mistreat you while you are here. My mother has left Rain here with you, so he will show you around and what to do. We do not allow lazy wolves so you can just work with him during this time until we have cleared you off." Drago says and continues to take a sip from his glass.

(and of-cause his mother is a witch! this guy's life just keeps getting bizarre)

Now that I look at him, he seems to be very normal.,he exudes royalty but his looks are average. Why do I think he looks soo different from when I met him? Sitting before me, this Drago does not look like a Drago at all. His shoulder length hair is a perfect hazelnut brown. His features are very soft compared to Rain. His voice is commanding but still somehow he sounds like an average adult with probably adult issues. If we were the same age then he would have probably been one of those kids in school who look like they are living large while in fact he goes home to a number of waiting servants and sleeps after watching Thai Lakorn .Why did I think I should fear him from the beginning then?

" I will summon you again as soon as our men are done and we will see how to proceed forward from there, I suppose you shouldn't be in a hurry seeing as that you did runaway to seek sanctuary in your old home, it is better to hide here where no one will expect for you to be." Drago says , disturbing my thoughts once again. I don't have much to say and I don't have many or any options really so I just nod my head . Rain comes near me and gestures for me with his hand to follow him out.

Time to explore my new world.
