Carla immediately contacted the private detectives to investigate the relationship between Savanna and Brett.
She wanted to find evidence of the two having an affair and use this to wash away her own guilt and return to participate in the match.
The detective was good enough. He found the evidence and sent it to Carla.
Carla received a surveillance video. In the video, Brett took a bunch of flowers from the parking lot into the office. Then he began to wait for Savanna there. At about midnight, he went out to catch up with Savanna to send the flowers to her.
The surveillance camera couldn't capture the whole picture. For example, when Brett sent the flowers, only his back was captured. The detective might think that nothing useful could be seen after this, so he cut that part.
