111 Reunion

Siv opens her eyes in a cold and dark room. It takes her a few minutes to adjust her vision to the dimly lit cell. It is quite small with three windowless walls and a fourth made out of metal bars.

'The dungeons.'

She tries to move, but she is chained to a chair. Heavy metal shackles are around her wrists, chest, and legs. She can barely breathe.

"Her Highness is finally awake." A male voice comes from one of the dark corners of the cell.

"Who is there?" She squints her eyes to try to see, but it is too dark.

"Do you really think that it is time for your shite, Magni?" Sten asks. Siv recognizes his voice even though she can't see him either.

"Sten, is that you?"

"Yes, lady Siv." He answers. "Are you alright?"

"I am. How long was I out for?"

"I am not sure, my lady. Maybe a couple hours."

"I see. Is it just the three of us here?"
