You are an Alien

I said that without even thinking. I had a hunch that the black car I saw earlier was Mrs Smith's spy. She wanted to to any limits to throw Elijah out. I should have understood.

"What are you talking about?" angry Mrs Smith asked me.

"I mean what I said. I seduced him from the start. I get what I want and... I got before he forgot everything." I said

"You seduced me? How?" Elijah was concerned and disappointed.

"I had a medicine which when mixed in his drink made him fall in love with me." I said though I myself didn't know what I said.

All the shareholders were shocked. I seduced him?

"You are fire Miss Ari Edwards." The chairman said and I walked out of the room.

I had done what I wanted to. I saved Elijah from losing his position and also made it easy for him to move on. I know he has some responsibilities and just because he loves me he can't go away from those.

Sam reached there after Leo gave her a call. She was standing out and saw me go out.

She came behind me and asked "What happened?"

"Mrs Smith wanted Elijah out of the business. She said he is having affairs with two ladies at a time making him hit negative headlines and destroying the company's reputation."

"And you said you seduced him and now you are off the job?"

I said nothing but sighed.

"Oh my god." Sam whispered and hugged me without saying anything.

"No... Wait. It is not time for hugging. I have to get the gem out today. I won't be able to do it afterwards." I said.

Sam thought and said "Fine. I will help you in."

"How?"

She produced a card and gave it to me. It had the name Aditya Kapoor

"How?" I was so astonished.

"He is a easy target." She said like it was nothing.

"You stole it?" I was tensed about her.

"Yup. It was so simple. He was stressed today and I was already thinking of how to get you in. So, I took the chance and took it out of his pocket." She explained.

"What if you were caught?" I was totally tensed for her. If Adi caught her or for that matter anyone, she would have been in a trouble.

"I can ask Leo to get me in. He knows me." I said

"Leo has still not got authority to get in becuase that gem is a secret. Only Elijah, Aditya and the research team are allowed inside." She explained me but the shock was how did she know these things?

"And How do you know that?"

"I have a nice detective skills, forgot?" She explained.

"But...."Before I could complete

"If you don't hurry and go inside and take out the gem then someone might catch us. Go!!!" Sam told me.

"What!!?"

I was scared as hell. I turned back and I couldn't breathe. It was Adi.

"Where Go?" Adi asked me.

I was relieved that he didn't hear the full conversation.

"I am fired for seducing your boss." I had no excuse.

"What!!!? But you didn't, I know it."

"Listen Adi, Elijah has some responsibilities. He has to go away from me to complete those responsibilities. He is always staring me with less focus on his work."

"How did you know that?" Sam asked me.

"I don't know. Maybe I improved my observation skills by staying near you?" I said airily. I was still telling the truth. Staying with Sam actually increased a lots of skills.

Adi seemed sad "You shouldn't have done that."

I said nothing but walked away. Leo came running but Sam stopped him. "Let her be." Sam said to Leo. Leo was tensed for me.

I first went to my table and saw Zoa was walking slowly.

"Zoa turn back to bird." I ordered him.

"Why? what happened?" Zoa asked.

"we are taking the gem back."

Zoa transformed herself into Bird and flew with me.

I didn't know that Catherine was eavesdropping. She wasn't exactly but she heard what I said. "Interesting!!!"

She found the head researcher and said "Mr Gupta you want to reach heights. right? With science experiments and new researches and discoveries?" She asked him directly. Actually he was the most ambitious scientist of the team. He was also the best.

"Yes, certainly." He obviously answered that.

I was at the research department entry. I glitched all the cameras of the while building this time. No one can have doubt on me.

Because how can a person glitch all the cameras at one single second without entering the security cabin.

My powers technically increased suddenly after the reveal of my parents. Or more of I practiced a lot during the fights with Catherine.

I now walked inside the room. I knew where the gem was kept.

I silently walked inside and reached the place where gem was kept. The lights if the research department was not switched on.

Its was dark and I don't know why but I was wearing a black dress. So, I was practically invisible.

Zoa flew over the whole research department and found out the remote. I followed Zoa to the place.

It was near another entry point. The research department had two entries. One from where we entered and other where we were standing.

We tried to get it out with the card but it didn't work. Why?

"Because I blocked Mr Kapoor's card."

I was scared, I turned around to see the head researcher.

"Actually I knew what you were planning so, I blocked all the cards of everyone except Mr Smith's. Because I am not allowed to do that. I also kept my card open." He smirked.

"But How did you know?" I asked him with a scared voice.

He laughed and came near me. I was walking back. He said "I had a very generous offer from your enemy."

Enemy? Oh no!!!! My only enemy is Catherine. "Catherine?"

"Bingo!!! you are right." He said with an enthusiasm.

"what offer?"

He laughed at me and told me the whole story....

FLASHBACK.....

Catherine was glad to hear his positive response and said "I will give you an alien to research on."

"Alien!!!!!?" He was shocked.

"Ari. She is an alien. I saw her with my own eyes." She said.

He laughed hard and said "How, can you even say that? Do you have a prove?"

"Her blood." She said.

Our blood was infact red but the only problem was on Earth the blood would have a really deep color of red.

We see our blood red because of light. Our planet and Earth were at different distances from our star and also the density of Ozone layer was different. The color of anything on earth would be of a darker shade compared to Z22.

"Her blood will be deep red. You know science better than me. So, guess why."

He was still suspicious but Catherine continued "you just have to take a lots of blood out of her for research which will kill her and you will take the credit."

"But why won't you take the credit." He was suspicious of Catherine.

"Actually I just want to save Earth. Nothing more. She is an alien I wonder what would she do to Earth." She said that which satisfied him.

"Okay, but I will check first."

"Sure. She is at the research department taking the gem you found. Oh right that gem is the remote control to ca for another ship. You can interrogate her an you might find her ship."

He was too happy and excited to hear that.

BACK TO PRESENT....

"She asked me to see if I don't believe it." He came near me and scratched my hand with knife. He was too close to avoid.

The deep red blood fell on the ground and he understood.

"YOU ARE AN ALIEN."

I was very scared. I was caught and not just caught but caught by a scientist who is very much ambitious.
