Me, Catherine and her Story

I slept that night very hardly. I made up my mind to save Earth before going back at any cost. Let it be my life or my love, I won't give up like my mother did. I will continue and complete what she left.

I will totally stay away from Elijah for the time being and concentrate on getting back my remote.

I will trick Leo and get his entry card. I know it sounds very bad but can't help it. Hopefully he won't ask any questions or else I might tell him the truth.

Next day, I went to office with Zoa as usual. I took my seat and saw a lots of files on my table. A girl beside me said "You gotta take them to Leonard because boss is seemingly going to be absent after what happened."

I nodded.

Then suddenly a guy came running and said "Elijah boss is here!!!! He is here!!!"

"He came even after being hurt?" A girl asked.

I was scared to see him. Getting hurt was the most probable result of this meeting.

Everyone was discussing about how great he is!! They loved him.

I agree, he indeed is great but.....I DON'T WANT TO MEET HIM.

I started moving to the female washroom, totally trying to hide from Elijah.

I was walking while looking on my back to make sure he wasn't coming. He normally used a special lift made for only and only Elijah which was on the backside.

I walked and crashed to someone. I turned back and saw a 6 feet man in a blue coat looking at me coldly. It was Elijah with his deadly stare.

I tried to retrace my steps back but he stopped me "Wait!!!" Guess what we were totally destined to meet.

I turned back. He angrily asked me "Are you trying to follow me!!!!?"

"N..No!!!!" I can't believe he said that.

Adi called Elijah by tapping him at the back and said "She is master Leonard's secretary."

He looked at me. He scanned be from below to up and said "Did I really date her!!!?" with a complete irritation.

He said "Come with me."

I said nothing and quietly followed him to his room.

He stood infront of his table and said "See, I know that you were my girlfriend as per everyone but I am already destined to meet Catherine. I might have been playing with you for sometime but now that I am back to my senses I....think we should break up."

I knew this would happen anytime soon so, I turned back to leave when he said "Stop!!!"

Just like the first time we were turning in the opposite directions.

I turned back to the left and he turned back to the right. When I turned a portion of my hairs came to my shoulders. The moment froze and we looked at each other.

But this time instead of any intimate moment he said "Don't you ever try to share any information that I might have shared to you."

I said nothing and turned behind. I saw the most unwanted face there 'Catherine'. She came in and said "Oh, Ari I am sorry that his real soulmate again found him."

She walked by me and stood right beside Elijah. I knew she must have used a spell. By no other means she can do that so, I silently said "Block!!"

Nothing happened? How? Di...Did Elijah truly..... I couldn't stop my tears anymore and ran away from there.

ELIJAH'S VIEW.....

When she turned back and looked at me right in my eyes I....I felt something. A pain of losing something. I don't know whenever I saw her eyes....The sadness within her it...it did something to me.

I hate to admit but...something seems totally off. I feel something I never felt in my whole life when I saw her turn slowly with her jet black hair making a circle and stopping right on her shoulders. My heart did skip a beat that time.

When Catherine stood beside me and she ran away.....I felt the desperation. I wanted to stop her for no reason. I don't know why I feel that but I know I am going to be with Catherine only. She and her father can push up our business. I will do anything for the business.

ARI'S VIEW....

I ran but Elijah didn't even stop me? I guess, I will never get used to the fact that he is with Catherine now.

I left the office premise and sat on a bench near it. I saw a car stop infront of me. Leo came out and sat beside me "Ari, what happened?"

I sighed and said "Catherine didn't use any spell on him. He fell in love with her without any charm spell."

He wrapped his arms around me and I kept crying "Ari, it is ok. He will come around."

I goy my mind back and said "Leo, we have to get back to business."

He nodded and took me inside with him.

I worked hard to keep my feelings hidden deep down.

Catherine now came out. She walked near my table and asked me to meet with her outside.

Leo saw this and came out of his room and looked at Catherine. I saw Catherine get scared.

I signalled Leo that he doesn't have to come.

I walked out with Catherine. People did gossip AGAIN.

"woah!!! this fight is getting more and more complicated."

"Yeah first it was two girls, one boy then it became one girl, two boys and now again to the start two girls, one boy."

"That is interesting."

"Let's bet who wins."

"You guys got no work?" Leo asked. He heard everything. "Guys, if you have less work.... you are welcome here and take more."

They got scared and got back to works. He now went inside.

I and Catherine reached the same ground that we were in earlier.

"Ari, this Elijah now technically has no significance to me. But..... This fight between us has now turned into the ego clash. And I hate my ego getting hurt. This time I want Elijah and break you from inside." Said Catherine.

"This game of yours has to stop now because you can't defeat me. I was told by someone that love is a feeling which is done to the character of the person, not the physical traits."

"who said that? Your...human Father?"

I can't believe, she....she knows?

"Oh yeah, I totally know." Said Catherine and laughed.

"Now, let me tell you a story." she continued.

"What story?"

"A special one." She had a light in her eyes which suggested that her Story won't be that good for me.

The birds were not with us this time. So, it was just me, Catherine and her Story.
