Jealousy!

(A/N : Read the author's thought, it has an important information or should I say spoiler;)

Day after day , dungeons after dungeons , I gathered the thing which was lacking the most inside me and that was experience. I still hadn't figured out what weapon could suit me the best as, even I had tried dozens of different weapon ranging from steel knucles to death scythe , none of them felt perfect like , it was made for me or something.

The magic weaving helped me carry out various kinds of expertiments , whose ideas basically came out from observing and fighting different kinds of monsters , like the thunder ball of the Fenrir or the air expulsion of dark Ravens .

Theo helped me a lot during these days , with giving me information about different skills which might my opponent in the future possess and obviously the information about dungeons .

I haven't cleared or entered any S rank gate until now as the S rank gate was way more risky of getting caught by high rank hunters . It's not that I was scared from them as I knew I could defeat a S rank or two on my own but I am little bit of worried about the consequences which would follow it.

"You sure , you want to plant it inside your body , I mean I know this thing ,I made especially for you but how can you be so sure that someone will try to insert a tracking device inside you?" Theo asked with, complete confusion on his face.

Some days ago ,i asked Theo to make a nano chip which could interfere with any other tracking device which might could get transplanted in the near future, inside my body. I had a very strong feeling that this would help me a lot in upcoming years or might help me now too.

"Yeah do it. And thank you again for your help". A thick needle pierced my skin and with a sting , left my body.

"Done. Now the thing I asked for..." A small jerky grin formed on Theo's face which I knew what was about.

"Yeah yeah. I will do it but remember if she accept my confession then don't come crying to me ." I sighed because of the thing Theo asked me to.

He had a feeling that Rina or whatever was glancing toward our side more often these days and our nerd in love, was getting suspicious that whether his love was getting stolen . So the mastermind came with a plan for me to confess her and if she rejects then he could confess to her without getting embarrassed. I knew that shit was going to backfire, but he had already calculated about hundreds of possibilities and according to him this was the best way .

"You are baiting me so you can't get ashamed , even you were worshipping someone , some months ago". I stood up, before he could respond , and locked my gaze on the girl which I had to confess .

'Damn this is the first time in this life and the most romantic thing that this confession is fake'. I walked toward a pink haired loli who was chewing gums sneakily.

'Come on , no one gonna punish you if you eat it openly'. I sighed and stood infront of her.

She got startled and threw all the gums inside her desk.

"I was just tasti...oh Subaru kun? Do you need something?" After blabbering on her own for the first half , she asked while tilting her head cutely.

'Damn why lolis are always this cute. No ,FBI might open up '.

"The thing is that, I like you and I want you to go out with me Rina". I said with a forced smile, trying to act natural but it was bit tiring to get stares from everyone at once. I also heard the girls going 'Kyaah', the all time clichè.

I glanced at Theo and he was panicking with his hands crossed in 'X'.

I asked him with my eyes , 'what happened.'

I just read his lips and before I could decode his words , the loli spoke up.

"Sorry but I like someone else and by the way you should have done rehearsal before doing all this." She smiled , crumbling my perfect acting and jerk's foolish plan, in an instant. The calculation took him ,five days and burning all the effort took her only 5 seconds.

'Wow'. I didn't had words .

My forced smile broke down and I spoke with my regular tone.

"Yeah yeah whatever. Anyway since you like someone, don't hold him for too long or he might slip away". I gave an unwanted advice and made my way back to my seat.

"Her name was Rinka". He glared at me with tears at corner of his eyes, because of the failure of the plan. He didn't heard what she said so he was highly distressed.

"When there is love , name doesn't matter. Thank you my friend for helping me find my true love. Peace". After making a 'V' I turned my head away.

"Eh..eh..ehhhhh...wait love..what are you bullshitting about. You said it was fake and did she accepted it..." I saw him tearing down further so without making the little genius to suffer more, I told him the real thing.

"*Sniff* that means there is still a chance." He wiped his eyes .

"Yeah Romeo. Just don't mess your chance, and propose her next month ." I gave him fist bump to fire up his spirit which worked probably as he continued writing his seventh page of the love letter , he planned to give her .

'She might get annoyed . I hope it won't become a reason of his rejection. ' i chuckled and continued writing my new spell in the notebook.

I tried teleportation spell as what the original character did, but it was not possible with just mere imagination of mine. After failing for 81 times, I paused that task and since a week, I started experimenting formation for a new spell, i.e spacial storage, which was somewhat connected to teleportation too .

'I think my physics is a bit lacking for this spell.' After realising the fact, I closed my notebook , with disappointment on my face.

After returning back home I found my mother cooking something in the kitchen. She already told me in the morning that she had a half day today , so I wasn't surprised but that doesn't meant that I was not happy.

She just greeted me somewhat dryly I guess, as she didn't hugged me or asked about my day. Just a simple smile , which made me confused a bit. And when she said Subu instead of 'baby' , my confusion transformed into worries.

'Did I pissed her off?' I sat on the couch and started watching TV while gazing toward mom's back, time to time, trying to figure out what happened to her.

"Ah, Subu." She called me ,without turning back. I lowered the volume immediately to listen what might could have happened to her mood.

"I might get late tomorrow , so don't wait for me and eat dinner by yourself ." She giggled at the end of her words.

"Late why? Is there some meeting or something?". I asked as I seldom saw my mom coming back late from work and she worked late only on those days, when there is any unexpected flux in gates or when there is an appearance of red gate.

"No, actually I have a dinner date with someone tomorrow". Her voice sounded cheerful like she was excited .

My mood went dark, like something started boiling inside me .

"With whome". I was sure that my tone could be counted as rude or cold if compared to my normal pitch.

"Ah yes, Goto san, you must know him right? You know he is trying to make me his personal assistant so I think this might be the official proposal or something". I didn't said anything.

I knew Goto Ryuji had requested my mom as his personal secretary as my mom was a brilliant mage and an exceptional translator too who have learnt a variety of languages , which was very much needed by any International Hunter

I stood up silently and with quiet steps , went toward the kitchen.

She must have sensed me approaching but before mom could turn toward me , I hugged her from the back , with my sliding my hands inside the apron and grasping her soft body tightly. Her hairs were tied in a bun, so her white neck was in my clear view.

"Eh, Subu?" She got startled before dropping the mixing spoon, she was using to stir something.

"Call me baby first". I said before burying my face in her white delicate neck.

"Uh, but what happened."

"Say it". I pecked roughly on her nape .

"O-Okay..baby. Now tell me what happened". I felt her body shivering, but my rage already took over me to notice those things.

"Now listen mama. I don't care who he is, the only thing, you should remember is that you are not allowed to get closer to anyone and especially to another man, so reject his proposal right away". I sucked on her neck this time , leaving a red dark hickey behind.

"Whether it is Goto Ryuji or anyone else, you are only allowed to get familiar from a distance." I left another hickey near collar bone this time.

She was completely froze at her place, without uttering any words nor rejecting my advances.

After leaving six hickey all over the place , I moved my lips toward her ears and bit her cute small earlobe before whispering ..

"I love you mom, so don't ever try to run away from me". And bam, she collapsed on the ground.

"Mom, oh shit. I am sorry". I tried to pick her up from the floor.

She was concious but her face was boiled red . She was panting heavily with drunken eyes.

I picked her up in a princess carry, and placed on the couch.

"I am sorry mom, I know I went too far this time". I said after standing up. I realised how many hickeys I have left on her just because I was jealous, but I wasnt backing off from my actions as I was sure that i didn't wanted someone to get closer to her so to make my point more clear, I leaned toward her and after placing my left hand on the arm rest, I said in a soft tone.

"I went too far, but what I said was true. You are mine alone so don't try to anything funny or someone else , might get in problem because of it". I stood back again and started walking back to my room.

I heard a faint 'okay' from her , which helped my worries to subdued a little .
