Encounter~2!

In her entire life, Sasha never fell in love with anyone. She wasn't a lesbian and was quite interested in the opposite sex just ought of curiosity but due to strict guardianship, she never was allowed to date, anyone. She wasn't against it as she also never felt a single person worthy of her interest.

Due to some 'unfortunate' reason, she got pregnant and conceived a child after a lot of reluctance. If it wasn't for her new friend Fubuki, she was considering abortion in her second month of pregnancy.

But now looking back, she feels the most fortunate person that she listened to her friend and gave birth to such a lovely child. She adored him and always craved his attention, and before she realized she was already found the first person whom she loved. His first and the only woman should be her, was what she always thought, but things changed so did Sasha.

She knew that her son loved her the most and that was a fact she also has seen but his love became divided when she wasn't around.

She didn't blame Subaru for falling for another woman and somewhat she was happy that he fell for Fubuki as she knew how much loneliness her friend had gone through until now. So, after a lot of banter, she finally allowed their relationship.

But another girl and more to it that one who stalked her son all these years. She won't allow it, not a chance. She could tolerate Fubuki to some extent but a girl who always tried to snatch her baby away, she won't tolerate it.

"*whistle* Teleporting two people simultaneously and looking at the place I can guess we traveled quite far. " Sasha praised Ririka however the previous wariness between the two was still constant.

Teleporting someone without being in contact with them was praiseworthy as this needs master level concentration of mana channelizing and an absurd amount of mana capacity. The island where Ririka teleported themselves wasn't far away from the island where the school was, as she didn't want to exhaust herself. She was confident in her combat skill but this was a fact that mana was a vital point in her fight.

"Very well then. As your professor, I am giving you a chance to survive. Kill me within a minute or-" before she could finish, Sasha's perception caught the dagger advancing toward her from behind.

'Not bad '. She exclaimed before tilting her head and dodging the dagger.

Ririka double-tapped the other dagger which was in her hand and suddenly the black nail paint from her index finger degenerated and got absorbed in the blade.

It was a venom, which only her clan people knew about. The venom had a name that signifies its true meaning 'The soul eater' as it states, the venom couldn't be cured with help of mana as it negates the mana away from a person until it sucks it to nill.

Ririka had a lower percentage of winning so she was using every means she had preserved until now, to kill her enemy.

Sasha's whole focus was on Ririka and she didn't miss her tampering with the blade. Sasha had an amused look in her eyes like she was getting entertained nothing else.

Ririka teleported her other dagger back in her hand, before appearing just beside Sasha. Ririka didn't waste a single millisecond before pushing her poisoned dagger toward Sasha's torso.

Sasha already saw the mana circulation forming so without much effort, she dodged the blade with her body swiftly moving away from her.

It only took Ririka another second to deploy her second plan. As she saw Sasha jumping on her feet so comfortably, she used her second skill and froze the place where Sasha landed, making her feet still at the place.

"Ara~ this is something new". There were finger countable people in the world who knows that the young lady of the Momobami clan possesses two skills due to her reawakening some years ago.

Ririka was in no mood to talk right now. She just teleported from her spot before appearing in front of her target but before Sasha could dodge her, Ririka disappeared again and this time to Sasha's genuine surprise, she attack from above with her dagger pointed toward Sasha's nape.

At the last moment, Sasha saw her coming before dodging her again. She melted the ice beneath her feet without even focusing on it. Sasha just moved her body as required resulting in Ririka landing on the ground, but Ririka had a smirk as she landed.

" Got you". Ririka said after tuning her head toward Sasha.

Before Sasha could realize it, a dagger appeared suddenly in front of her left eye just some inches apart.

It was approaching her at a furious speed and within half a second it could have pierced Sasha's skull but.

"You played very well but I have started to get bored". The dagger melted as soon it reached a finger apart from Sasha. Sasha was emitting heat that could melt tungsten, so melting a normal steel dagger was nothing sort of mentioning.

Ririka's eyes went wide as she the change of atmosphere around Sasha. Sasha was walking slowly toward her with her body blowing heat which was making her sweat even she was some foot apart from her.

Ririka stood up and however she hates it, she knew that it wasn't possible to assassinate Sasha with her current state so she finally concluded using her magic.

Chanting spells at a speed that could surprise and impress various, she formed magic circles on her both palms.

'Niphelheim' It was the strongest spell that Ririka could chant with her current mana reserve and so she did. She knew her best assault probably, could work against a monster like Sasha and she didn't think a second thought before using it.

An ice blizzard was released from her both palms, freezing everything which came in its contact even the air.

Sasha's amused look disappeared and what took its place was bloodlust. Being a mage she appreciates this kind of high-level magic very much but right now she wasn't in the mood to appreciate anything.

There was a reason why people in hunter's society gave her the title of ' Witch Queen'. During a red gate, everyone lost hope of expecting the assigned raid team to return alive. However, to the utter shock of every hunter, Sasha returned with everyone safe and sound. From the reports of those hunters who were with Sasha inside the dungeon, she fought continuously for a week and cleared the dungeon single-handedly. From that day, it was rumored that the black-haired mage has a bottomless mana reserve.

It was a feat worth noting in the history of hunters and from that day Sasha became one of the most known hunters of Japan.

She never fought Fubuki or Goto Ryuji seriously, before but she was absolute that she could take down Fubuki and Goto at once however she had to take her own death into account too.

She was a mage through and through, and now someone who was half of her age was intimidating her using mana and the heavens noting point that the person tried to steal away the most beloved person away from her.

Sasha was walking death. All the vicinity around her was burning flame resulting in the whole island drowning in amber at a fast pace. The blizzards which were approaching Sasha vanished even before reaching her.

Ririka lost hope and stopped chanting. She was standing still as she felt her skin burning and clothes slowly ring down from her body. But she didn't run away, she just waited for her inevitable death without blinking.

As Sasha stood about a foot apart from her, she could already see Ririka's skin burning and melting but she didn't stop and chanting a normal flame lance over her head she said.

" It was nice meeting you". She launched the lance at Ririka, mercilessly without a second thought

*Swiiish*.

But it never touched its target and vanished as soon it was launched.

More to that the flames also disappeared from the whole island and the scars from Ririka's body.

Ririka shakingly dropped her knees on the ground while shivering in dread.

Sasha frowned. First, because all her mana disappeared at once and second she knew who was behind it.

"This is a foul play baby you know that right?" She didn't turn but knew Subaru was standing behind her back.

Ririka didn't lift her head and just sniffed silently at her spot. This was the first time she faced death from this close and undoubtedly her entire being was scared to the core.

"Mom she would have died there". Subaru walked silently and lifted Ririka in a bridal carry before teleporting themselves back to his cottage.

He placed Ririka gently on his bed and covered her almost naked body with a blanket. He already healed all the damage she had but the psychological trauma couldn't be repaired with any of his spells.

Sasha was pouting as she sat on the chair while glaring at Subaru.

" Mom you already know I am in a relationship with her and still you didn't hesitate to kill her". Subaru's tone was soft as he knew he have to handle this matter with care. He couldn't favor either side.

"But you never came for me even she was this close from killing me". Sasha brought her palm near her face to gesture the so-called death she faced.

" I know you won't have got hurt and if I have seen things going out of hand from her side, then I definitely would have jumped to save you too." Sasha just humped in response.

Subaru chuckled and walked toward her. He patted Sasha which made her relax a bit.

"There is going to be a mess tonight here". Subaru sighed silently as he already saw what was coming from far away.

Dozens of aircraft were proceeding toward the island and it was no doubt for whom they were coming.

'It's a long night'.
