PROLOGUE (The divorce)

Her eyes were tired from continuous exposure to the screen's harsh glare from her phone and it added to her already mounting headache...

Waiting for her husband calls or text messages. Her eyes kept on staring towards the clock which shows 12am, leaving her in a worried state. She was pacing back and forth as she stared at her front door, anxiously waiting for husband's car to lurched in.

Immediately that thought came in she heard a car drive in. A smile graced her face as her bright eyes sparkled with happiness. She ran to the front door but what she saw made her stop in her track.

Alex swaying back and forth in the arms of another woman, making out as they came in. Tears filled her eyes as she stared at him kissing another woman in front of her.

"Alex, who is she?"Anna asked hurt.

Alex frowned slightly, he had forgotten that he had a wife waiting for him at home. his lips curled up slightly as he realized that someone was here. "What are you doing here? i thought i asked you to leave my house and never come back."

Anna was dumbfounded and couldn't get what he saying.

Anna's face quickly turned from dumbfounded to a smile, because she believed he was making a joke out of her. she walked to him, not giving the woman beside him a glance and put his arm around him but something unexpected happened to her. Surprisedly, he pushed her away from him and gave her a cold glare mixed with disgust and hate?

Since when her husband Alex hated her. She was confuse and shocked. Her body hit the cold floor harshly as she stared at her husband's eyes looking for answers on why he's behaving this way toward her.

"Alex what happened? why behaving like this toward me? and who is she? what she doing in our home?

Alex laughed coldly, sending shivers through Anna's body leaving disbelief in her wake.

"i want you out of my house and never come back and also i need you to sign divorce papers that on the coffee table over there,"he pointed out. then walked upstairs with the woman in his arms without giving a second glance.

Divorce???? she thought confused. why did he asked from divorce? what's going on?

She decided to questioned him and she dashed to the steps, quickly ran to their bedroom what she saw made her heart shattered into pieces. Her lovely husband is laying naked and fucking her in our bed. FUCKING HER IN OUR BED. OUR MATRIMONIAL BED.

Sobs quacked through her body, she couldn't stand there and watch anymore. she ran down the stairs and went to living room, took the divorce paper that were really on the coffee table without her knowing and signed her name on it.

She left without looking at the house she shared many memories with her husband but one thought came to her mind, what happened for him to ask her for divorce and why did behaved so coldly toward her. In a daze state, she hailed a cab and gave the driver an address and it drove away leaving dust behind.
