The magical cooking skills

It's has being a week since the sad event between Ella and Sarah took place. It was a big blow for Ella, she couldn't believe that after the years of friendship she shared with Sarah that she could easily back stab her without looking back. The night that the event took place she cried her lungs out through out the ride from Sarah's house to hers and because of that Ethan decided to spend the night at her place because he couldn't leave her alone in such condition.The betrayal from Sarah was something Ella couldn't easily digest. The next day she remained gloomy through out the whole day despite the whole efforts that Ethan put in cheering her up.

Ethan couldn't help but imagine how fragile she was and he promised himself to always protect her. In the evening she was feeling a little better and Ethan encouraged her to take a week off at her work place so that she can fully recover from the shock and she accepted,but deep down he knew he wasn't going to allow her to continue working at Whataburger where she will be meeting Sarah everyday because according to him if Sarah was capable of backstabbing her after the years of friendship they shared together then there's nothing she wasn't capable of.

Ethan spent the whole weekend with her and on Sunday evening around four PM Ethan took her to a nearby supermarket where they bought some food stuffs for dinner. Around six PM Ella wanted to prepare the dinner but Ethan told her not to disturb herself that he will be the one cooking the dinner.Ella looked at him with a surprise look and busted into a round of laughter.

"When was the last time you entered inside the kitchen?"Ella asked with a mocking tone. Immediately Ethan frowned.

"Well just because you didn't find enough cooking utensils in my kitchen when you visited my house doesn't mean that I don't cook." Ethan replied reassuringly

"Well I still doubt that a billionaire like you would ever go to the kitchen to cook.What happened to all the restaurants in New York city?"Ella asked with mocking tone.

"You are really challenging the chef in me" Ethan replied with a smile on his face. "So why don't you sit down on the couch and watch your TV while I go inside the kitchen and practice some of my magical skills." He replied reassuringly.

"Anyway Mr magical chef the kitchen is all yours but don't burn my kitchen"Ella replied with a teasing tone.

Ethan didn't reply her instead he rolled his eyes at her like a young lady and started heading towards the kitchen.

In less than thirty minutes the aroma of friend rice filled the whole parlor. Ella was astonished and she couldn't wait for Ethan to dish the food so that she could have a taste of the food producing such aroma.But in less than a minute the sweet aroma was replaced by a burning odor, immediate Ella left the TV she was watching and started running towards the kitchen screaming Ethan's name.

Ella was surprised to when she dashed into the kitchen and found the cylinder switched off and Ethan dishing out the food.

"What is pursuing you?"Ethan asked her with a surprise look

"Nothing" Ella replied inspecting the cylinder.

"Or you thought I have burnt the food" Ethan asked smiling

"Maybe"Ella replied smiling.

Ethan shook his head in disbelief without replying her. Ella helped him in dishing out the fried rice which they brought to the dining table. After saying a little prayer Ella took a scoop of the food munched it little and looked at Ethan who was staring at her like a cook in a cooking contest waiting impatiently to hear what the judge has to say about his cooking skills. After munching the food she smiled at Ethan who heaved a sigh of relief and started eating his own meal.

"You are really a good cook" Ella complimented him while munching the fried chicken Ethan used in cooking the fried rice.

"Thank you" he replied while enjoying his meal.

"Where did you learn how to perform this magical cooking skills?" Ella inquired.

"Well it was my aunt that taught me how to cook when she was still here in New York after my parents passed away."Ethan replied." And by the way I forgot to inform you that my aunt and his husband will soon be celebrating their twenty fifth year marriage anniversary."

"Wow that's lovely" Ella replied while filling their cups with the orange juice that's was on the dining table.

"And the good news is that I asked them if they would be able to celebrate it here in New York instead of England and they accepted.So they will be returning from England next week." Ethan informed her.

"Wow that's a good news" Ella replied."Hope they will like me" Ella said with a worried tone.

"Of course they will, no need to worry about that."Ethan replied before taking a sip of the orange juice. "Who won't like a kind hearted lady like you?"Ethan asked with a smile on his face.

With that statement Ella smiled and continued eating her meal.

After the dinner Ethan helped her in cleaning the plates after they decided to watch the Titanic movie together.

When the movie reached the part where Jack sacrificed his life for his girlfriend Ella turned and looked at Ethan a asked him:

"If a situation arrived where you will have to sacrifice your life for me will you do it?.

"I will die over and over again for you" Ethan replied her with a smile on his face and with that he drew his face closer to hers and kissed her and she reciprocated but when he wanted to go more further she stopped him.

"No sex before marriage" she reminded him.

"I'm sorry I got carried away." Ethan replied. But deep down Ethan was happy because he wanted to see if she was able to keep her words and she succeeded.

Around ten PM Ethan informed her that he will be leaving because he had some unfinished files to take care of at home but he asked her to wait for him the following day which was Monday that he will be the one taking her to work .
