The Official Mission

"Got the target, Agent 7?"

Agent 7 smirked as she reload her sniper gun. "I always get my targets, boss."

*BAM*

A clear headshot.

"Agent 7, you successfully killed Marquess Louis, an enslaver, corrupt and murderer."

Agent 7 gleefully kissed the back of her gun. Nothing satiates her more than killing corrupt royals and successfully completing her missions.

"Come to the headquarters, Agent 7. I have something to say to you."

"Roger." Agent 7 turned off her earpiece, took her bag and ran swiftly.

She took the alleyways as a shortcut while jumping and hopping off on fences without even making a sound—a proof that she is a professional assassin with more than 10 years lf experience.

But it seems that bad luck is on Eve's side. Her foot got the wrong turn as she jump to a fence causing her to fall.

"Shit.." she cussed and closed her eyes as she wait to fall.

But a soft pair of hands touched her waist and carried her.

As she opened her eyes, she was greeted by his wide eyes and cute smile, almost resembling a baby bunny. "Are you okay?" Her hands automatically touched his shoulders for support.

Their faces were only inches apart and when Eve finally took notice of their positions, she immediately pushed her away. "Thanks." She uttered and ran, covering her face.

The man, dressed in full royal clothes looked at her running figure. He then uttered a small chuckle and blushed.

"Prince Jungwon! There you are!" A knight came running, almost catching his breath.

"Your brothers are waiting for you. We have to get ready of the Princess's debutante ball!"

Jungwon looked back again to the direction where Eve ran off too then faced his knight. "Let's go. Where are my brothers?"

"They're fully dressed, your highness. They're waiting for you." The knight bowed.

Eve reached the headquarters in a span of 15 minutes just by running and jumping. Normally, it would take an an hour by walking and 40 mins through car.

"Ah, agent 7, here you are!" Her boss welcomes her with open arms and the rest of the staff at the headquarters clapped as she return.

"The hero of the day! Thanks to you, we manage to subdue that troublesome Marquess. His riches are being distributed to the poor by now."

"That's nice. What about his family?" Eve asks as she take a sip of tea

"His wife and brothers all taken to the court for investigation. The slaves they took are bought to a hospital as well. There's nothing to worry about."

Eve was delighted by the news. Aside from taking pleasure in killing, hearing justice prevail can make Eve happy as well.

"I'm sure your mother is proud of you, princess Eve." Her boss uttered.

Her mother...

Queen Felicia. Eve's mother is an empowered queen who takes pride in her kingdom. Rulers from different kingdoms all bow down to her and anyone who attempts to destroy the Queen will have their heads displayed on the royal gates.

But above all that, Eve's mother was an assassin.

"Thank you, Uncle."

And Eve's boss is Felicia's brother.

They were a family of assassins who rose to the royal seats to end injustices of the kingdom.

Felicia was an excellent assassin who has never failed a mission once.

However, minutes after Eve was born, Felicia was assassinated.

"Anyways, we found evidences of Felicia's killer. Are you ready?"

They believe the mastermind of her assassin was from an enemy kingdom.

Eve nodded. "Of course. We've been prepared for this."

His Boss, nodded. "It was the nameless King from the EN Kingdom."

The nameless king. He became popular for being the only king who doesn't have a name. No one knows what they look. He sends his sons to royal conferences in his stead instead.

But he is known for his great wrath towards the Queen of the Canaria Kingdom.

"So what is the mission?"

"Our mission is to let the nameless king show himself to the public. And when that happens, we reveal his sick crimes and kill him."

"But he has never shown himself for years. How do we do that?"

Eve's boss placed down 7 pictures like cards down the table.

"We target his sons."

"The nameless king is rumored to be head over heels towards his 7 sons. What do you think will happen if he finds out his cherished sons are dead?"

Eve's eyes widen. "He will have to make a public statement and because he is mad, he would want to take matters in his own hands."

Her boss snapped his fingers. "Correct."

Eve looked at the 7 pictures intently. One picture caught her eyes.

She read the name below, "Sunoo"

That name feels familiar but she can't point out why. Sunoo's face doesn't seem familiar but his name does.

And then, another caught her eyes.

"Jungwon"

It was the face of the man she encountered earlier!

"So my task is to kill the 7 princes of EN Kingdom?"

Her boss nodded. "Yup. But you have to find information about the king. Don't kill them yet."

Eve nodded.

"By the way," Her boss started, "isn't it your debutante ball today?" He scratched the back of his head.

Eve became panicked. "AH!" She shouted.

That's right! It's her debutante ball today!

The day she is introduced as Princess Eve of Canaria Kingdom.
