99 Welcome to the Mos (1)

"O-Oh my god! Honey, am I seeing it right? Please tell me I am," Laura asked, feeling faint as she leaned against her husband watching her youngest son and Fyre walk towards them while holding hands. Not just that, her eyes were quick to notice the couple wearing rings—which looked very similar to each other and might as well be couple rings—on their ring fingers when she knew full well none of the two were fond of accessories or jewelry except maybe a watch for Tian Zi.

"You're not, Honey. Your prayers were finally heard," Chendong replied, sighing helplessly towards his wife's overreaction. At this point, it wouldn't be a surprise if the two end up dating since they've been close friends for years. Tian Zi was noticeably possessive when it came to Fyre and Fyre was noticeably indulgent of Tian Zi. They're actually basically dating without them realizing it themselves. That's why they all had expected this would happen, especially when the young Alpha contacted them days ago about an announcement he wanted to tell everybody.

Additionally, normally Tian Zi would just go on with his mother's plans when it comes to the celebration of the day of his birth but this time he told them that he had other plans for his birthday and he didn't want an unnecessary gathering where he wouldn't enjoy it anyway. From that, in addition to the said announcement, anyone could tell something was up. Chendong wasn't so sure at first but now, he was right all along! When he saw Fyre walking out of Tian Zi's room early in the morning the last time he came to visit, his suspicions were strong but he didn't want to assume and spoil his son's decisions so he waited before telling his wife to also avoid misunderstanding.

Furthermore, Fyre was sent to the hospital before for a silly reason and Tian Zi acted differently from normal. All of them already had a hunch but since a lot of things happened and there was no confirmation from the two, they didn't want to probe.

"Mother, Father, everyone... Fyre and I had decided to be together. I proposed to him earlier and he said yes," Tian Zi conveyed softly while tightly squeezing his lover's hand against him as they faced everyone's shocked expressions. There was a stubborn blush on his cheeks that caught everyone by surprise. While Daniel, Ian, Laotian, and Chendong recovered and quickly conveyed their congratulations, Laura and Hanlu were different. Both of them turned stiff and were quick to feel faint.

"I-I know I'm not worthy but please, give Zi's hand to me," Fyre suddenly blurted. Although the family had accepted him as Tian Zi's friend, he wasn't so sure about becoming the Alpha's lover and soon lifetime partner. The Mos are good people but they could also not accept him as one of them. After all, he's just someone from an ordinary background.

"Fyre, please don't say that you aren't worthy because you are," Tian Zi said with a sad frown, holding his lover's cheeks in front of everyone so lovingly. Meanwhile, witnessing such an act, Laura finally couldn't take it anymore and suddenly fainted in her husband's arms. The same with Hanlu who staggered back to the couch as if he couldn't breathe, causing a commotion.

"Oh my god! What is happening?" Daniel exclaimed in concern. For him, Laura fainting was natural since it also happened when Ian and Lancel came but Hanlu?! He wasn't so sure why the Alpha was being so dramatic when he was the couple's number one secret wingman. Among all them in the family, Hanlu was the one who kept on making chances for the two to get closer. Be it requesting a job for the two to work on, making the two sit next to each other during gatherings, or sometimes even tricking them into going to a place alone together. The Alpha really enjoyed playing a lot especially now that he couldn't with Daniel and Laotian, who had been very vigilant with his tricks this time.

In reality, Daniel was right! The only reason Hanlu was feeling faint was because he couldn't believe his stubborn little brother was finally old enough to settle down with someone. He could still remember the day when the little child kept on following him, trying to catch his attention. It was so cute and adorable that he couldn't help but spoil him every time. Despite their constant bicker and competitiveness towards each other, Hanlu was the closest to Tian Zi to the point that he could actually be his second parent. Seeing his beloved younger brother grow up so big, how can he not become so emotional? He knew it would happen eventually, especially witnessing it that time at the hospital but he was hoping that was something out of an accident and the two aren't really together yet.

"Don't worry about them. They like you a lot. They're just being overly dramatic." Tian Zi assured, seeing that Fyre was becoming concerned and worried about the situation. And for an unknown reason, he could feel the Omega feeling anxious so he quickly wanted to make him feel at ease even just a little.

"A-Are you sure about that? W-What if they don't like me as your partner?" Fyre whispered worriedly which only made Tian Zi smile brightly especially after hearing his remark earlier. But the words he said were true, he wasn't that naive as to not notice how his family had been constantly pushing him towards Fyre.

"Fyre, don't worry about mother and Hanlu. I'm sure they're just shocked to hear that the two of you finally decided to settle down. After all, we waited 4 years for it to happen and it's finally happening. Congratulations to you two," Daniel assured with a chuckle hearing Fyre's concern while Ian nodded in agreement because in actuality he knew that his husband was currently contacting someone from the entertainment agency to make a chance for the two to be together. As he called it, "to spice things up a little". The Alpha thought that if he made a situation where the Omega was away and surrounded by many people, his younger brother would feel threatened and claim Fyre to himself.

Unfortunately for him, before that happened, Tian Zi and Fyre were now together and even engaged! Ian was sure that his husband was just being overly dramatic as always.

"Welcome to the family, Fyre. Although, you've already been a part of it since a long time ago," Ian added and hugged Fyre. Daniel also did the same and Fyre couldn't help but feel so touched especially when both Mo Chendong and Mo Laotian seemed to have agreed with it.

"T-Thank you," Fyre replied, he couldn't hide the smile he had on his lips.

"Actually, my wife had been hoping that the two of you would be together soon. You don't need to feel so nervous, we've accepted you long ago, Fyre. There is no worthy or unworthy in this family as long as our son chooses you," Chendong mentioned while urging Fyre to go a little closer which Fyre did, and had the elder hold his hand.

"We are very thankful to you. Xiao Zi's been stubborn since he was young and refused to date anyone because he saw how my wife and I had been forcing Xiao Lao and Xiao Luu. We thought he'd end up alone and we feared we'd have to leave this world without seeing him with someone who will take care of him. So to you, my wife and I are grateful. Please keep our son happy and I'm sure he will do the same to you," Chendong conveyed gratefully, squeezing Fyre's hand as he smiled.

Mo Chendong had always been calmer than his wife but he too was worried about their son's future. Tian Zi had always been stubborn about not marrying so as a father, he was afraid the Alpha would end up alone and lonely when he and his wife were gone. There are times when he agreed with his wife about arranging blind dates for Tian Zi since nothing was happening between him and Fyre for a long time but at the same time, they saw how negatively it affected both Laotian and Hanlu. In the end, they let fate decide their son's future. And now, it seems it was the right choice.

"Thank you~ Thank you so much for accepting someone like me, Sir." Fyre replied shyly, looking at the elder. Again, he was so happy that the Mos are all very nice people. When he came out to everyone and told them that he wasn't actually Tian Zi's classmate, they accepted him as if it wasn't a big deal. Even when they knew he was from a very poor family, that he never went to college, and never had a decent job. Still, none of the Mos questioned his intentions and accepted him. For all he knew, he would understand if he was seen as a gold digger for befriending Tian Zi but he wasn't.

"From now on, please call me father." Chendong chuckled, making Fyre blush as he nodded. Not long after, finally, Laura woke up still shocked but she knew she wasn't dreaming at all.

"My goodness, come here, Darling. Please give me a hug. I've been dreaming of this day to come," Laura called a little after she woke up, spreading her arms for Fyre. On the other hand, Fyre had no choice but to be near the elder and hug her but this time he was a little teary because Fyre had gotten so close to Laura in the past year and seeing that she fainted when she learn his relationship with Tian Zi, he thought the elder would start to despise him but thankfully that wouldn't happen.

Meanwhile, Hanlu who was still stunned and in denial, continued to gawk at Fyre and then to his little brother before his eyes widened even more as he thought of something. Ian seeing this, a headache began to build inside his head. Knowing his husband damn too well, he knew the Alpha's jumping into conclusion again... and he was right!

"X-Xiao Zi, is Fyre pregnant!?" Hanlu blurted, covering his mouth in shock as if he heard Tian Zi replied yes to his question. For Hanlu, who had been secretly monitoring their relationship for quite some time now, he was shocked to see that they were already together since the indicated that the two had gotten closer was that time Fyre was sent to the hospital, and even that time they weren't so sure because Tian Zi refused to talk to them. Most of all, he still had so many things in his plans but now, they have become useless. For the Mo Tian Zi to propose to an Omega and for Fyre Long to simply accept that! There must have been a deep reason for this to happen.

Well... it's not that he was against it! But it was all just too much of a shock. Besides, he heard from his contact that Fyre accepted the movie role. How can he act in such a role if he's pregnant with his precious niece or nephew!?

"W-What are you talking about!! O-Of course not..." Tian Zi blurted but stopped in the middle as his whole face turned red. He remembered doctor Feng's words and now he wasn't so sure how to answer. Fyre still had to visit the hospital soon to verify it and depending on the result, he might or might not be pregnant.

Meanwhile, watching Tian Zi suddenly in a dilemma in the midst of his reply, everyone gawked at Tian Zi and Fyre in disbelief and thought maybe Fyre was indeed pregnant.

"Why are you suddenly stopping?? Is he?? Fyre, are you??" Hanlu asked, making the two turn even redder that Ian had to cut it off, pinching Hanlu's side which quickly earned a groan.

"Stop it, Luu. Pregnant or not, does it matter?... Fyre, don't mind Luu. He's just happy that you two are now together. You don't have to answer such an absurd question," Ian assured although the rest of the people in the room except maybe Mo Laotian were curious. Yes, it is true that it didn't matter whether Fyre was pregnant or not but they just find it hard to believe that the stubborn Mo Tian Zi proposed to someone when there was not even news that the two dated.

"It's okay Ian, but I think everyone should know it too," Fyre replied with a sigh which quickly made a huge misunderstanding. Laura and Chendong were already smiling, Daniel had his eyes turned into stars, while Hanlu looked like his world just collapsed thinking of his innocent baby brother.

"Please don't misunderstand! Fyre and I aren't even sure yet. We'll know in 10 days!" Tian Zi interrupted, his hands shaking in embarrassment that he's being forced to say such words when this kind of thing was supposed to be kept between him and Fyre.

"Oh my! Then I hope it catches. After all, the more the merrier," Laura exclaimed excitedly while the rest agreed. They're simply a family who welcome every new life given to them. After all, they already have most things in the world. Three or Five more Mo babies wasn't a big deal.
