Jelousy

"I asked Iruka and Yamato to look over the kids for me this morning so I wouldn't have to worry being late" kakashi spoke as he smiles to her "I'm sorry for causing you all the trouble" she answered. "Hey Erza, let's grab something to eat before we go there, we haven't had any for breakfast. So what do you wanna eat? It's my treat" the ninja said. Erza was just silent walking by his side when she suddenly stopped. Sniff- sniff as she moves her head to the direction of the sweet delicious smell. Her eyes widen and brightened as if they were sparkling and with a childlike grin she said "Strawberries!!!" then she looked at the confused ninja took his hand and walked towards the newly opened sweet shop. Kakashi felt heat on his cheeks when he felt her hands on his while they walked slowly finding the source of the smell Erza is targeting her fingers intertwined his he felt the warm and unfamiliar feeling. "No one has ever held my hands this way" as he said to himself. Erza stopped walking Kakashi almost bumped into her back because of his absent mindedness he was not paying attention to reality. Erza looked at him, her face full of happiness in every detail. They went inside and the girl saw different types of pastries, cakes and other sweets.

"This is heaven! This makes me feel close to home" she tell the boy still holding her hands. "Ahm, Kakashi you can let go of my hands now" the girl instructed him. He was flustered and freed her hand putting his hands on his pocket and looking on the other direction to hide his blush. "Take whatever you want, it's all on me" he muttered. "Are you serious? Gee, Thanks!" Erza ordered the whole strawberry cream cake. They sat across each other in the table near the glass window.

They sat in there quietly. Erza's face still full of excitement. Kakashi do not how to start the conversation. When he was about to open his mouth the baker approached their table and placed the entire cake. Kakashi do not like sweets so he felt a bit nauseous by the sweet smell. "I haven't seen such a beauty around here before" he asked the girl. He was quite handsome, tall with fair skin and brown spiky hair. He sliced a cake and put it on the plate and gave it to the girl. She took a piece by her fork and ate "hmmm, time to compliment the chef" she said "this is a good cake, the foam is soft, cream is freshly made, not too sweet and just enough strawberries. Although personally I would want more strawberries, Thank you" she faced the baker with a smile. "My my, it looks like with fine table manners you have and critic I would say that we have a chef here" the baker said "Do you happen to have strawberry soufflé, do you?" he asked the man looking at her, his eyes full of desire. "I think you have an elegant taste when it comes to food, no one asked me for it before but I sure can make one for you, and it's on the house special only for such an attractive woman as you" he chuckled and took her hand and kissed it. Erza blushed and look at him with surprise. "I'll be back with your special strawberry soufflé'" he said walking towards the store kitchen.

She looked at kakashi with a questioned look. kakashi just sat silently his faced hiding in the mask full of jealousy. "What's with that guy?" she asked, Kakashi just shrugged his shoulders. "You should have some, try it" She offered the cake. "I really don't like sweet and fried foods" he said. "So what are you having?" I don't feel like eating anything" he said, his mood changed because of what he saw between the girl and the baker. "Why are in a bad mood all of a sudden? I'm sorry I didn't know you hated sweets" she said "But at least have some since we're already here" cutting a small piece with her fork and reaching it towards his lips feeding him "You can't eat with your mask on" kakashi was surprised with her action he remembered one of the scene on his Icha Icha Make out Paradise book, his bad mood changed into a smile. "Alright you win, I won't look just have a bite" She said facing the other direction. Kakashi pulled his mask down and reached for the fork, before Erza can look at him the mask was pulled back up. "It isn't bad, is it? She asked in a mocking tone. Kakashi just nodded. The girl sliced a piece of cake placed it on the plate and served it to him. The girl ate all the cake, he was just watching her all the time. I wonder where all the food is going as he stares at her chest, I wouldn't complain to where it goes he spoke to himself. The baker is back with a plate with a ceramic bowl in it is a fluffy pink foam puffing up above the edge with a whipped cream and sliced strawberries on top. "Here you go my sweet darling" the baker said as he serve it to the red haired mage. "Sure looks delicious" she said as she took a bite the baker looked at her with eagerness awaiting for her reaction "You know, you should put this on the menu" the baker blushed and leaned towards her face like he was about to kiss her "what should I name it then" he asked, Erza moved backwards because his face was too close "What's your name princess?" he asked "Erza Scarlet" she answered "alright I'll name it the Scarlet Soufflé then" he said with a small laugh " you got yourself a regular now" she said with a smile. Kakashi was full of disgust with the baker and starting to hate everything, he is being consumed by his jealousy of a guy flirting with her. "It's time, we have to go now" he said to cut off the two. "Oh okay, I just finished it and oh when did you eat?" she missed seeing his face again. They said their goodbye to the baker and went towards the training field.

"kakashi thanks for the treat, It was closest thing to home since I arrived here" she said. Kakashi just nodded still pissed off for some reason "After the training let's get something you like, what is your favorite food?" she ask to try to lighten up his mood "salt-broiled saury and miso soup with eggplant" he said with a boring face. "I can cook for you if you want" she said. He just looked at her trying to figure out why he was so pissed off, Am I jealous? He tries to asses himself. Why would I feel this way, I haven't felt this way towards anyone before not even Rin. I feel like I should be only one talking to her in that manner, that is too selfish but why do I feel this way towards her? Kakashi just sighed and grabbed his head "Are you ok?" the girl asked touching his face and put a hand on his forehead. Kakashi jumped away from her in surprise also to hide his blush "I'm fine" looking at her pouting face.
