The beginning

The sun rays tickles her cheeks as she stirred slowly from a short nap.

"Mom?" A 10 years old boy softly called out. The older woman glance at her back and beam a tight smile.

"Where are we going?" The little boy asked as he sat straight and eyed the cars passed by them then lean forward to look at her mother driving.

"Baby, listen to mommy..Ahhh..we'll go to your auntie Kahi and for the mean time you will stay there. Okay?" The older woman swallowed a decent amount of saliva as she told the little boy the reason of their travel.

A frown drawn on the little boy's forehead and eyed his mother intently.

"We will stay in there?" The little boy continue asking. The mother tighten her grip on the steering wheel as she cleared her throat, trying to get raid the sudden blockage in her throat. Blinking a couple of times, Hyuri looked up to hold back her tears.

"Yul listen mommy's need to do something so you will stay at your auntie's house for a while." She explained as she wiped out the tears escaped from her tired eyes.

"Mommy I'm sorry. I'm sorry, I promise I'll be a good boy. Please mommy.. I'll be a good boy. Please mommy." The little boy pleaded, tears soaking his small face.

The older woman sniff and decided to just stay quiet and focus on driving.

"Mommy please, I'm sorry.. I'm sorry... I promise I'll be a good boy!" The little boy wailed loudly..

Stopping the car safe off the road, Hyuri eyed her 10 year old boy, tears filled up her weary eyes.

"What happen to your sister is not your fault honey. It was an accident, remember that. Just.... just listen to mommy okay? We need to go now!" Hyuri said and went back on driving.

"But~~~..."

"Kwon Yul I said stop it and shut your mouth!" Hyuri angrily roared, startling the little boy.

Arriving at their destination, Hyuri exited the car and eyed her quiet son.

"Yul lets go!" Hyuri open the passenger door and kneeled down to level up on her son's teary eyes.

"Listen son, you have to promise me that you will a very good boy and always listen to your uncle and auntie okay?"

"And remember mommy love you so much!" Hyuri pulled the crying boy in her arms as she freed her tears as well.

"Hey.."

"Hi.."

Hyuri wiped off her tears and hug her best friend so tight as her sob aloud.

"Ssshhh..."

"Thank you so much for doing this."

"It's nothing just be sure to take care of yourself. Don't worry about Yul. " Kahi said while rubbing Hyuri' s back.

"Please don't let that bustard near him. He's crazy, putting the blame of Yoona' death to Yul." Hyuri whispered enough only for Kahi to hear.

The other woman gasp and eyed the quiet 10 year old boy.

"Why?" The only word Kahi able to utter. Hyuri scoff and wipe off her tears to clear her view. Her son is sitting quietly locking its gaze on his iPad. Grabbing the head phone, Hyuri put it on his son's ears. After making sure her son won't be able to hear their sensitive conversation.

"It's my fault Kahi, not him. I am a terrible mother living both my kids alone while I am busy feeling pity about my life!" Hyuri started, tears flowing down her cheeks endlessly.

"Why is he dragging Yul in it? How can a father do this to his son!?"Kahi curiously asked.

"He said that Yul knows how to swim, he was competing multiple competitions and won all of them yet when he saw his sister drowning he didn't even tried to save his sister."

Kahi covered her mouth and eyed her best friend in awe.

"Your blaming him too!" Kahi hissed loudly. Hyuri shook her head vigorously.

"No! Of course not!"

"You sounded like it." Kahi softly answered. Sadly eyeing the boy few meters away from them.

"No Kahi, I blamed myself. It's my fault!!!" Hyuri poke her chest using her fist as she sob loudly.

"Mommy~~~" The two older woman pull the crying boy between them as they coax the crying boy...

"Remember mommy loves you so much. Listen to everything your auntie says okay? I know you are a good boy so I'm expecting you will be at your best behavior. Okay?" Hyuri peck Yul's cheeks and look up meeting her best friends worried eyes.

"Thank you again. I owe you so much. I have to go!" Hyuri announce and hug her son one last time.

"Be careful okay and be sure to update me. " Kahi muttered loudly, holding the wailing boy in her arms..

"I love you!" Hyuri said looking at her son. And she hurriedly went back to her car and drove off, leaving her son in her best friend care.

"Honey? Let's go. Your uncle has something to show you." Kahi softly said holding Yul's right hand.

The little boy didn't utter a single word and just let the older woman drag him away. Getting in the car, Yul grab his iPad again.

"Yul honey? Jessica is so excited to see you again." Kahi said, knowing that the boy is really close to her daughter she might be able to get the boys attention.

"Hmmm..." the boy just softly hummed and focus on his iPad again.

Letting out a loud sigh, Kahi decided to just let the poor boy be and focus on driving.

Arriving at her house, Kahi glance at her back and saw Yul looking at the house.

"Honey? Let's go?"

Yul nod his head and went out in the car. Seeing her husband standing behind the gate, Kahi beamed a sad smile. Daniel heave loudly and walked towards his wife with his daughter tailing him from behind.

"Yul it's nice to see you. How are you?" Daniel greeted the young boy with joy in his voice. The latter just looked up and smile.

"Come on, uncle bought a new car. Let's check it out and tell me what you think okay?" Daniel said and ushered the boy to where his new car is.

"Yul!" A high pitched echoed in their ears then a giggle followed. The little girl wanted to surprise her friend and seeing the latter jolted in his spot makes the little girl jump out in victorious manner.

"Jessica!" Her mother called out. The little girl chuckle guiltily and poured her lips as she walked towards her mother.

"Be nice to Yul okay? Can we depend on daddy's princess?"The little girl wear a smug smile as she proudly nod her head as her responds. Kahi giggle and hug her daughter as they eyed the two men continued their journey towards the garage.

Kahi was once on the top tier model in the industry while her husband is building its own empire. As their relationship gotten serious and with a baby coming, she decided to let go of her dream as she found another dream that will make her better And happier. A dream most woman wants, be a mother. And with her husbands help, they raised their daughter well. It's pretty understated but her daughter was and will always be the best thing happened to her. As for her husband? Daniel has the Jung empire. The biggest entertainment company in Asia. And with being said, their only daughter is the gem of the empire. A gem that only very few can touched.

Five years after....

Jessica sat on the edge of her bed eyeing the white oak door with delicate carving on, a door only for a special girl like her but that's not it! She's not admiring nor examining her door, what she's waiting for is that someone that would barge in to annoy her early in the morning. Minutes becomes hour, Jessica huff loudly and finally stood up.

"Good morning miss. Breakfast is ready."

Jessica eyed the petite woman in front of her then glance at the next room.

"Where's Yul?" She asked coldly.

"Yul went out early miss. And your mom and dad has to leave early too coz of your fathers business trip." The maid informed Jessica. A low growl escape in Jessica.

"I'm going to school now, tell Mr. Han to prepare the car!" Jessica announced and went back in her room.

Grabbing her phone, Jessica then went on texting her girls.

"What are you girls up to today?" She immediately send her message and prepare herself.

Arriving at the prestigious school, Jessica confidently wave path towards their hide out. Ignoring the other students ogling over her. She has this beauty that everyone envy and wished to have. Those sharp brown eyes with a long eye lashes that emphasizes her gorgeous eyes, a very cute nose that perfectly matched with her diamond shape face and her petite body and porcelain kinda skin that radiates as the sun rays hits her skin. Jessica has everything, money? No issue, beauty? That's not even a question! Friends? Believe it or not she got friends she can lean on. Supportive parents? Yes, of course, even often times the support is suffocating yet Jessica understand the protectiveness of her parents, specially her dad.Boys? She has lots of suitors but with her dad and Yul? No one can even get near her. Love? Hmmm.. she still looking. She's not in a hurry for sure and she had her best friend/bodyguard/brother/ clearly someone so close to her and is very over protective as well and that's Kwon Yul.

"Hey Jessie.."

Jessica just nod her head acknowledging the greeting of her best friend.

"What's up? That long face is so annoying to look at early in the morning!"

Jessica sarcastically let out a chuckle and softly slap her friends shoulder and sat down.

"Yul is ignoring me again. He's being childish and it's really frustrating!" Jessica admitted honestly and earned a giggle from her friends.

"So what happen to Donghae? Is Yul even gonna let that poor guy court you?" Tiffany asked.

"I talked to him last night and that lead to a fight.."

"What did you say to him?"

Jessica fidgeting And guiltily bean a fake smile.

"—- well, it's the truth. He's not my boy friend not my brother so what gives him the right to meddle in my business? He's just being nosy and all. I hate it when they made me feel like I'm not capable of taking care of my self and most importantly making me feel like I don't know anything. Heck!!! I'm Jessica Jung!!! I am a big woman now and can make my own decision. I'll show them that!!!" Jessica vent out her anger.

Her friends look at each other then eyed the furious blonde girl. They know what Jessica is talking about, how Yul and her dad treats the latter like she doesn't have a mind on each on and what Jessica is feeling right now is understandable yet a part of them is scared of "what if" running in their minds.

"They just have to wait and see!!" The eagerness in her voices sips through like a venom.
