Chapter 56 : Another rival (?)

Third person point of view

They went back to Haruto's room after finishing breakfast. " You don't have to work when you are here ? " Junkyu asked looking around the room. Haruto was looking at the books in the shelf. " Why ? Don't want to spend time with me ? " He asked looking for something. " Yah ". Junkyu walked up to Haruto back hugging him.

Haruto smiled secretly. " We don't even see each other for days some times, how can you say I don't like being with you ? " Junkyu said resting his cheek against Haruto's back. Haruto turned around to face Junkyu who still had his hands around Haruto. " I know ". Junkyu hugged him burying his head in Haruto's neck.

Haruto kissed Junkyu's head. " You don't want to sleep ? " Junkyu shook his head. " Not that sleepy ". Haruto rubbed Junkyu's head. " Is there anything you want to see or anywhere you want go to ? " Haruto asked. Junkyu looked up at Haruto. " Not really. You can just take me anywhere. I don't mind ". Haruto nodded.

" We have 5 days and I have to go to office from the day after tomorrow. So I will show you around tomorrow ". Junkyu's eyes went wide after hearing those words. He opened his mouth in shock. " Bastard. You were teasing me on purpose ". He cursed looking mad. Haruto pursed his lips trying not to laugh. Junkyu pulled away sulking.

Haruto pulled him back by his waist. " Where are you going ? " Junkyu didn't answer and pouted. " Are you really upset ? " Haruto asked carefully. " It is still a question ?! " Junkyu asked back. Haruto smiled a little guilty. " It is just for fun ". " Not for me ". Junkyu looked away. " Fine. I am sorry. What can I do as a compensation ? "

" You should know that ". Junkyu said still not looking at Haruto. " Ahh~~ I don't think I am good with coaxing ". Haruto said tilting his head. Junkyu scoffed. " Hah. Yah. You are- " " I love you ". Junkyu forgot to finish his sentence. He turned to look at Haruto. His eyes were wavering. " Is that enough of a compensation ? " Haruto asked with a smile.

Junkyu opened his mouth but couldn't speak. He blinked a few times and recovered from the shock. " I guess ". Haruto smiled. Junkyu pulled away slowly. He went and sat on the bed. They spent the morning in his room. Then had lunch with Sara and then sat together chatting. It was mostly Junkyu and Sara, Haruto was the spectator.

" Haruto ". They heard a woman's voice call out and all three of them turned to the source. Haruto stood up. She came up to him and hugged him. Junkyu just stared not knowing what to say. She was definitely beautiful and she looked like she was around their age as well. Junkyu took a few seconds to recover and looked away.

They pulled away. Haruto and her started speaking in Japanese. Junkyu did understand it. He learnt it diligently and took help from Haruto too. So he understood what they were speaking. She then turned to Junkyu. " You must be Junkyu ? " She used Korean, but it had a Japanese accent. Junkyu stood up and bowed.

" Yes. Nice to meet you ". She extended her hand and Junkyu took it. " I am Yui. Nice to meet you too. You are pretty good looking ". Junkyu smiled and let go of her hand. " Thank you. You are really beautiful too ". She smiled. " Thank you ". They all sat back down. She sat beside Haruto, sticking to his side. Junkyu noticed and bit the inside of his cheek.

He felt a little uncomfortable but hid it and continued to chat with Sara. Junkyu observed that Haruto was not in the least bit uncomfortable nor did he seem hostile. He rather looked like he was enjoying his time with her. They spent the rest of the evening like that. She even stayed back for dinner. Junkyu understood that she was maybe really close to their family.

She sat on the other side of Haruto at the table and kept chatting with him. Junkyu didn't say anything and finished dinner. He spoke a little to Asahi. He could say Asahi was a man of few words. But he could see he didn't hate him or anything and was in fact friendly. They were both the ones to finish the dinner first and left the table.

" Want me to help you with the route ? " Junkyu smiled. " Thank you. I was wondering if I would get lost ". Asahi smiled. He guided Junkyu to Haruto's room. They both had small talk on the way. " Thank you once again ". Junkyu spoke in Japanese all the while. " No mention. I didn't expect you to speak Japanese ".

Asahi replied in Japanese all the while too. " I do. To an extent. I learnt it recently ". " It is pretty decent for someone who just learnt it ". Asahi complimented and Junkyu smiled. " Thank you. Well then. Good night ". " Good night to you too ". Asahi walked away to go to his room. Junkyu walked into their room.

He slept on the bed looking at the ceiling. He wriggled in frustration. He turned to side looking upset. He decided to not think too much into it and sleep for now. He pushed all the thoughts away and closed his eyes to fall asleep. He took slow and deep breaths, clearing his mind. Haruto came back after a while and saw Junkyu who looked like he was already asleep.

He slowly got into bed and hugged Junkyu close. Junkyu was about to fall asleep but woke up when he felt Haruto hug him. He opened his eyes. " Did she leave ? " Haruto was a little startled when he heard Junkyu. " Who ? Yui ? " Junkyu nodded. " Yeah. She did ". Junkyu didn't say anything to that. " Were you not asleep ? "

Haruto asked patting Junkyu's head. " I was about to but woke up when you hugged me ". " Oh, sorry. I thought you were asleep ". " It is fine ". Junkyu turned around snuggling up to Haruto and closed his eyes again. " Good night ". Haruto smiled hugging Junkyu closer. " Sleep well ". He closed his eyes too falling asleep.
