Chapter 73: Re-gaining trust 1

"It seems like you've forgotten about me. You don't need me anymore again, right?" I heard Courtney say through the phone. She didn't sound happy. She was overeacting as usual. The last time we spoke was on my birthday, which was two days ago.

"Courtney, we spoke on my birthday, remember?"

"So? We promised that we'd talk each and everyday. You've broken our pact " All i could was to sigh.

"Alright, I'm sorry. These past few days hasn't been easy. So much is going on and I can't just wrap my head around it."

"What things? Is there already trouble in paradise? Come on girl tell me!"

"No, no. It's not about Shawn. Just some boring things and school is draining."

"Of course. Final years are hell. I'm also suffering here too. Do you want to hear some sweet gist?" 

"You know I can't say no to your gists." Courtney giggled like a little girl.
