1 The First Meet

A bond is something not meant to be trifled with, especially one between the best of friends but what happens when love decides to ruin that bond. what happens when sisterhood competes against true Love?.

THE BEGINNING:

Ava stood there with her luggages in her hand and tears in her eyes as she looked at her family one last time before she boarded the plane to the States.

She then thought to herself " how could I do this without them? , we've always been together" as she looked at everyone, from her mum to her dad and to her best friend Alia.

Alia and Ava go way back since middle school, there bond is beyond friendship and more like sisters. Alia couldn't help it but ran to hug Ava one last time before she left.

On their way back Alia walked behind Ava's parents very slowly as she was scrolling through her phone, she then bumped into a tall handsome young man with slightly curled hair and brown eyes and a musical headset around his neck.

Immediately his luggage springs open with his belongings falling on the floor.

"Geez" he said as he bent down to pick up his fallen belongings hurriedly, forgetting that he bumped into someone and then Alia gave out a deliberate cough as she folded her hands in anger.

"I'm so sorry I bumped into you" he said as he handed her phone which he picked up from the floor, Alia immediately melted at the sight of his face and quickly accepted his apology.

Whilst assisting him she asked why he was such in a hurry, "I'm running very late to board the plane that will bring me closer to my dreams".

Alia then watched him with a confused look as she asked what he meant, "I was supposed to board the Plane leaving for the United States 10 minutes ago. Thank you as well" he replied as he zipped his luggage.

Alia then bent down to pick a white handkerchief which fell from his bag, she immediately noticed that there were initials C.R sown on it. "What do the initials stand for" she asked as she tried to hand him the handkerchief but he quickly ran off before she could.

She tried shouting 'hey' but he had already disappeared and then brought the handkerchief to her nose as she inhaled the unique fragrance coming of it.

Quickly she tried to follow him and return it but Ava's parents called on to her to see if she needed anything.

On her way out she got lost in her thoughts , thinking that their meeting was fated but it could also be the last time they saw each other.

Ava who had now made herself relaxed in the aeroplane seat was disrupted from her prayer, by a male voice who asked her if the seat next to her was taken, "no it's not" she stammered as she took in his gorgeous physique with her cheeks blushing red.

He smiled shyly as he sat close to her and introduced himself " Christian Rios and you are? but Ava quickly handed him a handkerchief to wipe his face as he was dripping in sweat.

Losing herself in his gaze, Ava couldn't hear Christian asking what her name was ,completely forgetting herself and then replied "single" but quickly corrected herself shyly as she introduced herself as "Ava, Ava Dion".

Quickly they both started a conversation as he asked what songs Ava listened to as he handed her the headphones to listen.

They talked and laughed and completely became invested in each other throughout the travel.

Upon arriving they were met a slight turbulence which made Christian to grab Ava's hand and rested the back of his head on the seat cushion with his eyes tightly shut.

Ava then squeezed his hand and smile in astonishment as she whispered in his ears "who could have thought".

Shyly Christian raised his head still holding her hand and then awkwardly removed his eyes from her.

He then tries to let go of her hands but instead she draws them back and held them tightly, smiling to him as she said "everything's gonna be ok. I got you".

Time passed as they interacted with each other and then slept off. Christian was woken up by the voice of the stewardess who informed his that they had arrived, he then gazed at Ava who was resting her head on his shoulder.

He then brushed a strand of hair from her face which made her wake up from the feeling of his touch .

"We are here" Christian said softly as he gazed into her eyes, she looked sad for a brief second.

Ava then stood up and hugged him tightly saying she needed just a minute.

Christian became flustered upon hearing this to the point that he could hear his heart racing and stomach getting a warm feeling.

The hugged felt like it lasted forever with violins playing in the background as if it was two starcrossed lovers saying a heartbreaking goodbye to each other.

After what felt like an eternity Ava stepped back and then gave him a slight punch at his arms and awkwardly smiled as Christian asked if this was the end of their journey.

"This is America, where anything is possible" , a place that will make and destroy their relationship. They quickly got down and said their good-byes thinking that this was their first and last meet.

Ava was picked up by her aunt Corazon whom immediately ran to hug her when they saw each other. On their way she asked her how was trip, if there was any hassle, but Ava's mind immediately ran to Christian and then she blushed without realizing that her aunt was looking at her wistfully.

They quickly arrived at what seemed to be a Filipino neighborhood.

Whilst unloading with her aunt ,another car pulled up opposite them and then she heard Corazon saying it must be another Filipino family.

Ava was about to turn her face when she heard an oddly familiar voice saying "finally" .

Curiously she stared at the car thinking she might be paranoid and then two male figures stepped out of the car revealing it to be Christian and his Dad.

"What could this mean" Ava thought to herself "is fate at play?" she murmured to herself.

Lost in her thought, unable to see Christina's eyes growing wide with enthusiasm as he noticed her.

Back in the Philippines, Alia still couldn't stop thinking about the mystery man she met at the airport, to the point that she had a well detailed dream about him and a third party whose face couldn't be seen properly.

Will Ava meet with Christian again and if so, will he be hers or will he be in love with Aria?.

happen when she finally gets Christian and more importantly discover that the woman from the dream was no other but her Best Friend Ava.

Who will forfeit? or will both friends entangled themselves in a dangerous rivalry for the love of the guy they both cherish and love.
