Grumpy day

Riele woke up to the excessive buzzing of the alarm,she was very angry because it started when she was having 'a lovely dream'.

She removed her hands from inside her duvet and knocked off the alarm, it fell on the ground but didn't stop.

"You really are not a morning person" jess said after watching Riele for a minute trying to off the alarm on the floor with her eyes closed.

Riele finally opened her eyes.

"I am,just not the alarm type" she sat up picked the alarm and turned it off.

"You're not,by the way I was dying to ask you how was your day since yesterday,you finally showed up but was sleeping like a log of wood." Jess left the chair she was sitting,ran to Riele bed in expectation.

Riele smiled pushed jess head a little backward then said,"the food was nice."

Jess smile vanished, that wasn't what she wanted to hear,so she decided to go the other way round. "I'm no seer but i am certain it was nice" she got up from Riele bed and went to her wardrobe pulling out a shirt.

"Surprisingly it was,but that kid is a total jerk"Riele frowned remembering the way he threw her on his shoulders.

Riele got up heading towards the bathroom.

"Jerk enough to carry you to your room instead of living you on the street,well I need that kind of jerk in my life"she gave riele a weird look.

Riele didn't really remember how she got into her room,she only remember getting up to use the toilet then changing and also what he said before she slept.

"That doesn't un-jerk him" she didn't change her accusations while closing the bathroom door with a loud bang.

She thought of the way his voice sounded,she sighed ' its not really my business' she started doing her business in the bathroom.

She came out to meet Jess already in her dress a black baggy jeans and green tank top.

"Hey,why the rush you know you're giving me a ride to school?"

Jess was really apologetic that she wasn't able to drop riele off "I'm sorry that's not possible today I have to rush somewhere but I would be back in school before they start the meeting."

"What meeting?"Riele tried recalling

"Try checking your mails Riele"she said while putting on her shoes,"anyways they are deciding on where to go for the field trip."

Riele jumped gleefully"that's greet,i have been waiting for them since forever"

"Why are you so excited about it"Jess asked while glancing at the mirror for the fifth time.

"My cousin once told me that HSU field trips are mostly like vacation because the instructor find it as a break to get off the fucking university and their rules" Riele explained.

"That's so nice,why didn't I hear about this since."Jess got excited over it.

"Cause your antennas only locate boys"Riele retorted

"have some respect for this lady"she cat walked to the door and gave a pose once she got there.

"Bye do-do" riele waved.

"Bye stupid" she replied before closing the door.

Riele put on her clothes,a blue ripped jeans on a yellow hoodie matching it with a white snickers, she combed her hair ,she picked her phone from her bed side table while she headed out of the apartment.

She found a taxi just in time,told him where she was heading ,the driver didn't start the car until she used her seatbelt,what got her angry was that the man didn't tell her to use it,he was just staring her until she got the signal,she wasn't against using seatbelts but it really made her feel uncomfortable like she was being caged moreover she was sitting at the back "grumpy"she mumbled after obeying while he scoffed "oops" she looked away embarrassed,she thought he didn't hear it.

She finally got to school,she ran to her geometry class because she was already six minutes late because Mr grumpy decided to stop to get his coffee although she pleaded with him that she was late he said 'coffee is definitely more important' she got to the main hallway and saw her class room.

She stood at the door and exhaled and inhaled five times because she was going to meet another grumpy 'the teacher',she pushed the door and took one step in while everyone's attention turned to her including the teacher.

She tried to ignore by putting her head up high, smiling and then walking gently into the class,'yeah that was stupid' she knew but she just wanted to irk the teacher more because he was too narcissistic for her liking.

"Do you mind miss downs" he scowled at Riele.

"I do " she turned back to the door and rested on it with her legs pushing back while she picked her nails.

"Riele downs" he glared at her,she could have sworn she saw fumes coming out of his ears,'just where i wanted him to be'she thought.

"O i didn't see you there" she gave him a smug smile while she walked off to her sit while others tried to hold in there laughter cause no one has ever displayed like that to 'Mr squid-ward' his nickname.

She was about to take her sit when she noticed a particular pair of brown eyes staring at her with a smirk on his face,she gave him her most displeased look and sat down.

He leaned in to her ear and whispered"didn't know ele was a jerk"that gave her a weird shiver but she pushed it aside while she turned her head a little "who knew you were an idiot until now"

"Feisty "he said in between his teeth which she just ignored trying to pay attention to squid-ward's teaching,she sighed inwardly 'from grumpy to grumpier'

She tried her best to listen to what he was teaching but she was only seeing a mum ,their wasn't a sound at all,'well they said if you don't like a teacher you surely wouldn't understand what they teach' she believed the saying now.

She was drawn back by a sudden yank on her chair and another.

"Would you stop being a dick"she didn't realize she screamed that out until different pairs of eyes where staring at her.

She pulled her hood over her head to hide from the embarrassment,while Jason snorted at her back ' what did I do to the universe today' she almost cried.
