chapter1: Emily insecurities

Emily Kenwood was a high school sophomore who had everything proceeding well for her. She excelled in academics and extracurricular activities, had a great support system in her best friend Royal, and was a loving mother. However, despite these achievements, Emily felt lost and unsure about her purpose in life. She often found herself questioning her choices and abilities. Well, let me introduce myself am Emily and I grew up with my mum, well about my dad I can say I have never met him don't know if I have one because my mother is a bisexual woman don't me wrong though I love her and support her decision, she's a grown as a woman and knows what she wants. My mother's name is Eleanor and her wife's name is Paris she is a charming and graceful businesswoman, I grew up with these two women accompanying me and not a day did I feel lonely.

It's the weekend now and Mom and Paris are going to be home Mom decided that we have a little picnic today to rest and wind down a bit beside the school breaks are over and I need to be in school on Monday, to be honest, I don't want to be in school I just don't even know what I want anymore.

"Emily come out of your room and stop daydreaming;

I can hear Mum's voice outside my room and I know she is up for her dream again.

"Come in mum": I said to her

Thank goodness Emily; I was beginning to get worried and almost broke your door.

Emily: Mum no need to act this drama here this morning, what do you want? I question her;

Mum: well I just came to inform you that everything is ready for our picnic and all that's left is for you to get ready and please when I said get ready, I meant something sexy and some makeup, not your usual annoying baggy clothes; she said while rolling her pretty eyes.

oh yes, that reminds me; Emily your best friend Royal is outside waiting for you and that young lad is dashing my old lady heart can't handle such cuteness; she gaspingly said.

okay mum, you need to stop: I said while laughing your lordship I need to get ready now would you excuse me;

fine; she said and don't forget what I said: "Yes mum dress sexy and make up no baggy clothes".

I love my mum, talking to her makes me forget my sadness and worries"♡:I opened my wardrobe and pick a slim fitted pale yellow dress and some white heels, trust me it looks good on me, you must wonder why I put on baggy clothes; hmm let's say because I try to hide my curvy body like" imagine walking the road and all attention on you nah it's getting way too crazy", I go closer to the dressing mirror and let's my wavy curly red hair down as it glided with my light skin and yellow gown and applied a little foundation on my face and some lips gloss; okay am good to go,

I come down the stairs to see Mum and Paris smiling at me and Royal screams "You look sexy Emi~~ he calls me the cute nickname he gave to me and I smiled widely.

So enough of the sweet talk let's go" I said when I got down the stairs and stood beside Paris and gave her a cute hug.

Dammm my baby girl is so hot; Paris squealed like a teenage girl~~~

so hot that you wanna date me right Mum shouted and said jokingly don't you dare we all laughed as we walked to the field and spread our mats, sat down and began to arrange what we bought for the picnic and I immediately picked up a snack and started chewing. I left Mum and Paris and decided to take a walk with my Royal as we discussed school on Monday

"Hey Emily what do you think about going to school together", he asked.

Great idea least we would have fun while discussing you know yea sure; I see Mum preparing to leave and I say to him; Royal let's go back I think it's time for us to go home.

we walk closer to them and help in the packing as we walk home together while laughing and gisting about interesting topics.

The weekend flew over in a flash and I sat in my room that night and looked outside my window while drifting in thought and decided to go to bed and said good night to myself;

On Monday morning, Emily woke up feeling anxious about the day ahead. She had a presentation in front of the whole class, and the thought made her feel sick. "What if I mess up?" she wondered. Emily knew she needed to calm down, so she went for a run in the park before heading to school and got home to see Royal waiting she got dressed as fast as she could and they left for school.

As she arrived, Emily heard the roar of motorcycles. She looked over to see a group of leather-clad boys riding into the school parking lot. Emily recognized one of them as Sean, a notorious bad boy who had a reputation for getting into trouble. She could feel her pulse quickening as she watched him.
