CHAPTER 22: ARE YOU DONE CHECKING OUT ON ME?

After our extreme exercise we did. We both drifted off. We missed the beautiful sunset view. We woke up already past dinner time.
"Hey!" I kissed Macy's head. "We miss the sunset."
She slapped me slightly. "It is your fault. You tired me out." She pouted, rolling her eyes on me.
"I am sorry but not sorry at all." I grinned. "You always make me hard on, my love." I kissed her on the lips.
"I'm starving!" Macy whispered.
I laughed. "Come on, let's shower together." I pulled her lazy ass away from bed.
Instead of doing shower only, we did something more than that.
"It is your fault. I am so starving to death." Macy pouted as we reached the dining table.
There were variety of foods place on the table. Our caretaker took care of everything. We do not need to cook.
"Wow, we have already foods." She was excited to rush towards the table as she grabbed my hand.
"Maybe Ben did the cooking or his wife." I speak. "Come on, I know you are hungry. I will just reheat the foods." She helped me out to reheat the foods.
"I cannot believe that they cooked so well." She was praising it. "I cannot believe I ate too much."
Well, they were really excellent in cooking. We always love it whenever we are here. Macy really loved it too.
"Next time, we will bring our kids." I suggested.
"True! I love being with you alone but I miss being with them." She agreed.
"I know what you mean. Me too, I miss having fun with them." I smiled as we both did the chores.
After staying on the beach house, the next step we did was talking to our parents. Both our parents were happy with our decisions because they would see their grandchildren more often.
"Thank you for considering our offer. You already know Macy that we will leave this house to Shane and you. Promise, we will not be hinder in your family life." My mom said. "You can do whatever you please in this house. We are already old to matter anything. We let you kids do it your way."
Macy hugged my mom and then dad. She was overwhelmed with all the treatment they shown to her. Everything is at place now.
"Thank you, Dr. & Mrs. Cox for accepting me and my son." She said a little shyness.
"Even thou Shane and you have not tie the knot yet. You should start calling us Mom & Dad too." My dad implemented. "You know, we are living together from on." He smiled.
"I agree, you are like a daughter to us even before." My mom caressed Macy's cheek. "So, feel at home, okay!" She nodded.
They moved in with us few days after that. And I can see, it was the nicest thing we did. We make it a traditional that every Sunday is our family day. If we are not busy but we made it a must.
Parents of Macy can stay any time they want and Macy was so happy with my ideas. Because both of our parents were close. They even agreed because they need it too. Aunt Rebecca and her new family, Zander's mom joins too.
We already contacted a person with Zander's referral regarding for the pool in the house. We had the design that attached the house it was not totally indoor pool but both.
It will take a while but we are not in a rush. Our kids are excited that we are going to have pool in the house. Shan is athletic person that want to explore every sports.
Shanice was influence by his brother to love sports. She began her swimming lessons too. I really love seeing them so close together. Now even closer since we all live together.
We were off to Zander and Shay's house; Shay already gave birth to a baby boy. My parents already visited them last weekend. It was our turn to visit them this Friday night after our work and the kids' school.
We were planning to go there early morning but the kids want to meet their cousins. I was okay with it since it was two to three hours driving just few miles after the beach house. I came home early to prepare all the things needed for the kids.
Macy came in as well. Our kids were in the living room watching cartoons.
"Hello, my love I thought you will be coming later." I said, kissing her lips in front of the kids.
"No, I told my staffs that I will be off early. I already bought some bread for us and some drinks too." She said holding something in her hands.
"Okay, that would be great because Shay called that she already prepared us some foods for dinner." I told her. "You will take a shower first and I will condition the vehicle we were using." I added then she nodded.
I already put all the bags in the trunk. I put three small pillows for the kids and Macy in case they fall asleep.
I was done with the things inside the car. I went upstairs and found Macy wrapping around the towel in her body. I bite my lips looking at her from head to toe.
"Are you done checking out on me?" she smirked.
Of course, I won't deny it. She always gives me hard on every time I see her. I walked towards her, grabbed her waist and kissed her lips. "I love you, Macy now and forever."
"I love you too Shane, now and forever." She said, hugging me really tight. "Hurry up and take a shower so we can head off the road earlier." She said, slapping my butt.
"Ayay! Captain!" I replied and goes straight to our bathroom.
I did a quick shower and the kids were excited to rush me out. This is our first time going as a family. Our first time away from home.
