CHAPTER 20: MEETING SHAN

SHANE

It is Saturday morning. After we had settled other things with our parents. I am really nervous right now because we are going to Macy's place. It is our turn to meet with each other as family.

Meeting Shan.

Of course, I will bring Shanice with me so they could also meet.

"Daddy, are you okay?" Shanice asked. We were still in our house ready to go.

"You need to relax, son. Why are you so nervous?" My dad said.

"I do not know, Dad. What if he does not like me? What if he..." My mom snapped at me.

"Oh! You stop thinking negatively. Macy told you already that my grandson is eager to meet you two." My mom reminded me.

I heavily sighed. "Yeah, you are right, Mom. I think I was just thinking crazy." Shanice and my dad chuckled.

"You, two better go and they are waiting for you." I nodded as we say goodbye. Grabbing the small bag for Shanice things.

We headed to my car. My daughter is excited about today's agenda. She could not wait to meet them.

Macy was the one who opened the door for us as we arrived. She let us in. Now, I am having mix emotions as we entered inside.

I saw Shan in the living room standing. He ran towards me as soon as we walked forward.

"Dad!" Shan embraced me. It was not awkward at all to be exact.

There were kind of slightly drama thing on my part and both of us actually. He was sobbing. My tears were falling too. I hugged him back tightly.

After a while, we were calm down. Shan and I pulled away. We were walking towards the sofa.

"Hey, it is okay now. I am here and I will never leave you and Mommy." He nodded as I assure him. "With your little sister too." I looked at Shanice who were hugging Macy as they were looking as well to us. "Come here the two of you." They walked towards us.

Macy sat on the couch. Shanice was smiling at Shan.

"Shan, your little sister Shanice." Macy introduced them properly.

Stan stood up and kneeled down to Shanice level. He hugged her too. He does not have even a little hatred with me and his sister too. Good thing that he understands our situations after they discuss our history.

He accepted us with open arms and he even loves his sister too much. They were close right away. I can see they both love having each other more closely than Shay and me. We were happy with the results.

Macy and I watched them. My heart was overwhelming to see the love in them.

"Do not cry anymore big brother. We will be together now." Shanice said as she wipes his tears.

"Mmm..."

"Okay, you kids, you go have fun together and do you thing." Macy said to them. "You two need some time alone and know each other." She added.

"Right, you need time catching up. Mommy and I will just be here." I both kissed each other's forehead.

They headed to Shan's room while Macy and I were remained at the couch. We cuddled in silence. Stroking her hair as we were thinking.

We spent the night in Macy's place. We were really like complete family. But it is still not totally because we were living separately.

A week passed, we had plan for the weekend. Meeting Shan with my parents.

After having lunch together with both of our kids were in my parents' house together with Macy's parents. Leaving the kids to spend their grandchildren with them.

Macy and I went for a ride. We were talking about looking for the house.

I talked to my parents about moving out and finding a house for us. They suggested that we should stay in our family house. Since they are not getting any younger. Our house is big and a lot of things I can change if Macy will okay with it. No need to find a new one.

It was true my parents place was big enough of us. They have six bedrooms upstairs and one downstairs in case my parents cannot use the stairs anymore.

We have big vacant space outside if we want to have a pool. I have been thinking about their suggestion quite a while. However, I have not told Macy about it. I think this is the time we need to talk about what's keeping inside my head.

"Where are we going for a ride, my love?" I heard her asked.

"What about going to the beach house? It is just two hours away from here." I suggested glancing at her.

"Well, fine with me. It has been years since I was there." She replied. That was Shay's birthday when she was there.

"Okay, I think what you think." I grinned, she pouted.

It never took us longer to reached our destination since it was weekend. No traffic along the way. I got out from the car to press the pass codes of our gate. It slowly open and I got back inside my car to roll the wheels towards the house.

I turned off the engine and Macy got out herself before I went to her. The gate closed automatically.

She was standing beside the car waiting for me. I reached out her hand and we walked towards the house. Our caretaker was not here. I called him before we arrived that he needs to buy me some foods for us because we were going to stay here tonight.

We lead upstairs balcony facing the beach. It was still hot outside decided to stay inside for a while that might give me to open up to Macy.

We sat on the lover's chair that I bought it when Shanice was still young. I loved stroking her hair. "Love there is something I want to discuss to you." I said as an open intro.
