CHAPTER 16: FLASHBACK

SHANE

I looked at her with fears in her eyes as I told her about Shan, my son, our son. She did not answer me but her tears began to fall.

I wiped it with my thumbs. That day, I treated Shan his wound I left the school clinic right away grabbing the blood cotton balls of his. I went to the hospital to do some DNA test. 

This morning, I got the result in my hand, my suspicious was right. Shan is my son. The similarity we have and profile was not just coincidence. Everything is all about me.

*FLASHBACK*

It was Shayla 16th birthday; we were celebrating it in our beach house. My parents and Zander's mother called it off early that night. So, we, the young ones remained at the pool having fun. At first, we were grouping together but the more the night deeper the more we were divided into two.

Jonathan and Cherry went upstairs to their room. I saw Shay and Zander were still in the pool stairs chatting. I do not know what they were talking about. I was not thinking about my sister because I know I can trust my best friend that he will not do harm with her because we grew up together.

That remained Macy and me in the lounge chair. I asked Macy if she want to go down to the beach with me. She did not reject my offer and joined me. Walked down the stairs towards the beach.

My heart started to rattle when our hands touched. I know she was still young we both are. But the feelings I feel for her was something else.

We sat on the sand talking; we both find our topics interesting. The more we spent time in the beach the more temptation it cannot control.

I suddenly kissed her quick and pulled myself away. Afraid that she will slap me or left me there alone. However, it was different case. She pulled me closer and initiated the kiss. I slowly lay her down in the sand.

We wore both bathrobes. I untied her and revealed her two-piece swimwear in my eyes. I licked my lips looking at her body and travelled my eyes to her face. She was biting her lips staring at me. I was not thinking straight.

"Tell me to stop and I will stop right now Macy." I said but, in my thoughts, I hope she will not.

I waited for her to stop but instead she smiled and nodded. That was my signal that I should go on with what I want to do to her.

I untied my robe too and took it off. I put it on the sand properly beside her robe. I took off my swim short. She watched me carefully from head down to my body and landed on my length. I was fully naked standing in front of her as I watched her biting her thumb nail eyes wide open.

I smirked as I leaned down to her as I removed her swimwear off her body. She has nice boobs that fit in my hand perfectly. Not yet fully big because of her age but I am sure it will be bigger than now.

I kissed her lips once again and we were that high in passion as our bodies became one.

*End of Flashback*

Now, I know the story why Macy left in our town because we were too careless that night. We forgot to use protections. I did not use condom that day and I did not ask her about birth control pills if she has taken.

However, I did not know if that time on the beach that gave her pregnant because it was not just once but twice.

"I am sorry Shane; I was young when I found out that I was pregnant." Her voice was shaking while telling me. "I wanted to tell you. But afraid that you will not believe me that it was yours."

She continued to explain while her tears keep falling. "I am truly sorry Shane; please do not be mad at me for hiding my secret that involves you."

I wiped her tears. "Ssshhh... I am not mad my love. I understand you and your situation back then. And I love you for that. "I carried away with my words that I blurted out what's inside my heart."

She froze. "What did you just say?" She asked doubtfully. She thinks she misheard my words.

I sly smile looking into her eyes. "I love you, Macy. I love you more now. "I revealed. "Love at first sight that was you to me my love."

"W-what?!" she said confused.

"Yes, my love that was I felt that day I set my eyes on you before you became Shay's best friend." I said stroking her hair as we were laid down inside my car. "You were too young if I pursue you girls my age will going to pick on you. I do not want that to happen because you were too precious to me." I kissed her temple. "I never regret everything what happened to us my love. The first time we had sex was the best thing I did and the second was just a bonus."

"You are not mad at me? For not telling you about our son." she said.

"No, my love I honestly thank you for not aborting our baby that time. He will not be who he is right now if you were unsettled mind back then." I said bringing her closer to me. "When you disappeared in this town I was lost. I cannot ask Shay more information about you because we were not that close then. And she might get her suspicious if I keep on asking too much about you. " I explained. "The moment we met again in your bakeshop I was crazy. My heart was beginning crazy again with you. I do not want to miss this opportunity of losing you again. I love you Macy, I will marry you anytime. But I am asking you now. Are you willing to marry me and start a new family?"

She smiled, stroking my cheeks and leaning to my chest. I could hear her taking a deep breath then pulled away from my chest and face my face.

"Are you really serious about me, about us? I mean, I know this is sudden because we were new in this relationship. What if I will go wrong our kids will be affected?" She said in her doubtful heart.

I did not reply right away with the words she said. "I know what were you thinking my love. I am serious about you but how about this. We will not be going to marry right now. I was thinking we can move in together with our kids and find a house first. What do you think?" I looked at her waiting for her answers for my suggestions.

"Yes, I want to be in, moving to a house with our kids. We can try first and I will marry you Shane because I love you too since we were in high school." She said happily. "I just did not imagine having your baby then. But I always say it was the best part of my love for you."

"You do?" I asked in surprised. "Are you really sure?"

She nodded. "Yes, I do..." she chuckled kissing me.

"YES!" I shouted. "Wait, my love." I got up and opened the dashboard of the car. Getting the small box I kept it there when Macy became my girlfriend. It was always there anytime I want to propose to her and this is the right time since she said YES to marry me.

"I did have this ring since you became my girlfriend and before I found out about Shan. I really plan to marry you even I was not his real father." I said truthfully to her because that is what I feel for her.

I saw her tears again. I smiled widely as I slipped the ring into her finger as a sign that we are engaged and she is mine forever.
