Prologue

Death is everywhere my eyes see nothing has changed in these hours. Not knowing if I'm going to die or live on from this battle. Taking out a book from the pouch around my thigh. I look for someplace to put it. Then I see a tree that is half alive and half dead. Carefully running towards it, I make sure to have my sword with me at all times in case an enemy comes. Using the handle of my sword to help dig a hole, I gather the soil that hasn't been burned by what happened throughout the day. Once I have a big enough hole, I grab the old brown and black book that contains the words of what happened to me this past year alone. Covering it back up. Golden lines start coming up and into the roots of the tree-like bringing life back into it, but not all has changed about it. I hear footsteps behind me, clutching my sword I turn around preparing to use my sword, even if no help is coming whatsoever.

This is my journey that no one can do but for me. Everything is riding on my shoulders. So, let the games begin.
