1 Chapter 1

Luffy woke up from the bright sun shining through the window of their room, groaning in her sleep, she hid her face in Law's neck snuggling into him causing him to wake up to see her trying to make herself comfortable moving her face to nuzzle on his neck.

"Morning Beautiful, rise and shine," Law said softly while rubbing Luffy's bareback after making love the previous night.

"Still sleepy~~ and it's comfy here" she murmured snuggling into his warm embrace as she lifted her head to look at him.

"Well too bad, we have to get up now sweety," Law chuckled softly cupping her chin to pull her into a soft kiss.

"Ehhh...What time is it?" she asked softly as she put her head against his beating heart.

Law turned his head to look at the clock "It's 6 o'clock in the morning, I have to be at the hospital at 9 o'clock"

"Hmmm... I wish we could stay in bed all day and make love like last night"

Even though Law couldn't see it, he know that Luffy was smiling because he could hear her soft and teasing voice.

"I wish we could too, but we have to go to work so we have to get up now," Law said while getting up.

"Mou~~ I love waking up in your arms it's so warm and comfy," Luffy said pouting still laying in bed.

"I love holding you in my arms too angel" He smiled planting a kiss on top of her head.

Luffy got out of bed covering her body with the blanket standing in front of Law.

"I love you Law," she cupped his cheek with one hand and stood on her tiptoes to kiss him.

"I love you too Luf, I will always love you," Law said softly after breaking the intimate kiss caressing her cheeks with his thumb while looking into her beautiful onyx eyes.

After staying in each other's arms for a minute, they decided to gather their clothes which were thrown in different places last night.

"I'll go prepare our breakfast , go take a bath," Luffy said as she get dressed.

"Thanks, Love" Law said smiling.

After breakfast Law is ready to go to work.

"Love, what time is your shift today?" Law asks.

"I will just take a bath then I'll go to work, my shift is 11 o'clock to 8 o'clock in the evening, " Luffy said smiling.

" I see, I'll be home at 6 so I'll cook our dinner then, " Law said smiling.

"Oh! I can't wait!, I love Law's cooking!" Luffy said excitedly.

"I'll be off then," Law pulled her into a gentle kiss. "See ya, Love. Be careful on your way to work" Law said pulling away.

"See ya! Drive safely!" Luffy said waving goodbye.

After Law left Luffy went to take a bath so she can go to work early.

Leaving their condominium she takes the elevator, her thoughts drifted to what she accidentally heard about the experiment of artificial enhance humans yesterday at her work.

The Boss of the Dressrosa Facility is secretly doing an experiment on humans.

Her thoughts were interrupted when her phone rang. "Hello, who's this?" Luffy answered without checking who was calling.

"Hey, Lu it's me"

"Ace nii?! It's been so long! I missed you guys!" She abruptly stopped. "wait! don't tell me..."

"Yep! we're back Lu!"

"Sabo nii!" Luffy yelled excitedly.

"In a flesh, we just arrived at the airport, are you and Law available tonight? Let's have dinner with Oyaji and others" Sabo said.

"Oh! alright, I'll tell Law, see ya later Ace nii, Sabo nii, I have to drive to work."

"Alright see ya, Lu. Drive safe" Ace said before ending the call.

Luffy reach the parking lot and opened her car door before sitting in the driver's seat and then dialed Law's number.

She started driving while waiting for Law to pick up the call.

"Hey, Love are you on your way to work?"

"Uh-huh I'm driving now, I just called to inform you that Ace nii and Sabo nii are back and they want to have dinner with us tonight together with Oyaji and others,"

"Oh I see, then I'll wait for you at Oyaji's then?"

"Yes Love, after work, go straight to Oyaji's restaurant, Ace nii and Sabo nii will be there with the others,"

"See you later then, Love, I love you, Be careful," Law said sweetly.

"See ya, I love you too, bye Love," Luffy said before hanging up.

As she pulled over to the parking lot of Dressrosa Facility, she saw another vehicle pulled over beside her.

When she opened the door and got out of her car, the door of the other car also opened, revealing the driver who was none other than one of the chief scientists, Caesar Clown, also known as MASTER.

"Good Morning Master," Luffy greeted smiling.

"Oh, Good morning Luffy, you are early as usual" Caesar greeted her.

"not at all master, it's almost 11 already, I'll go in first," Luffy said looking at her watch.

"Alright, Go," Ceasar said waving.

Luffy just does her daily tasks at the lab, the time went fast and it's already 7 o'clock, An hour left before her shift ends.

She can't help but smile with excitement at the thought of seeing her brothers again.

Her thoughts were interrupted when her phone rang.

"Hey Love, I'm already at Oyaji's"

"Oh, That's good Love, Are you with my brothers?"

"Yes Love, I'm with them already, they were so excited to see you, Oyaji, Marco, and Thatch too"

"I see, I'm excited to see them too, but I still have an hour before my shift ends," Luffy said checking her watch.

"Oi Law, Is that Lu on the phone?" Luffy heard Sabo at the other end of the line.

"Ah yes," Law said. "Love, I'll put you on speaker,"

"Shishishi, Hi everyone!" Luffy said gleefully.

"Hey, Lu! Hurry up and come here, We missed you!" Ace whined at the other end.

Luffy chuckled at her brother's antics.

"I missed you guys too! Oyaji and Marco-nii too." She said.

"Mou~~, angel! you forgot your favorite big brother here!" She heard Thatch whine.

"Shishishi, I miss you and your cooking Thatch nii!"

They were interrupted when a sudden explosion occurred.

BOOM! BOOM!

The facility caught on fire and is spreading rapidly, and the walls of the building are beginning to crack. People around her began to panic and shouted for help.

Luffy standing there paled and frozen,

Still holding her phone, "Love!" Shouted Law on the other end of the phone startling her.

Luffy, look around with wide eyes, then back to the phone in her trembling hand.

"L-Love, there is a-an explosion, the f-facility is on fire," She said with a trembling voice.

"Lu! Are you okay?! are you hurt!?" She heard Ace and Sabo's voices.

"I-I'm okay, Cough cough, I'm already wa-walking, and Cough cough looking for a way out here," She said choking and having trouble breathing because of the fire and smoke around her.

"Calm down Love, breathe slowly, we're on the way there, don't hang up the call" She heard Law calmly say but she know that he was already starting to panic too.

"Love don't worry," Luffy wasn't able to finish what she was saying because the ground below her suddenly exploded sending her flying.

The pain from the impact when she was sent flying, didn't register immediately. Trying to stand up, she wince when the pain hit her, stumbling back the pain registered in her head making her dizzy, trembling pale and small hands reached and found her head already slick with blood, wincing as she tried to move, she gasped when she saw the source, a large jagged piece of glass deeply pierced into her side.

"S-so much blood," She hissed "Argh, I'm d-dizzy," She said in a pained voice.

-Law and the Others-

Everyone froze when they heard a loud and massive explosion and all the rumbling at the other end of the call.

"Love?" Law said in a low trained voice. "Love? Hello? Are you there? answer me please!" He was now starting to panic.

"Oi Lu! Answer us!" Ace hissed somewhat worried, "Damn it, Drive faster, Sabo!"

"I know! I'm driving as fast as I can" Sabo yelled in panic.

"Ugh," Luffy groaned. "Ow," They heard her hissed in pain.

"S-so much blood, Argh, I'm d-dizzy," They notice the pain in her voice.

"Love! Love! Answer me please!" Law yelled almost begging.

-Back to Luffy-

"Love! Love! Answer me please!" She heard Law's panicked voice from her phone she somewhat dropped near where she was sent flying,

as she crawled to her phone, Blood oozes from the wound on her side with every move she makes.

"Love! please! answer me please!" She heard Law's pleading voice.

"L-love, c-calm down," She said trying to sound okay.

"Oh god! Love, are you badly hurt?"

"Hmm, I-i'm fine, j-just dizzy," She said in stuttering.

"Lu, we know you are not okay," She heard Sabo say in a worried voice.

"Yeah Lu, so, tell us what your situation is, we are almost there," Ace said.

"Oh, M-my head is bleeding, I... I was sent f-flying and a large jagged piece of glass pierced into my side,"

She heard them gasp.

"L-love, apply p-pressure on your wound, we are already here, I'm almost there, Stay awake Love," Law said trying to sound calm.

"Love, I love y-you, I love you so much Law...." Luffy moaned in a low strained voice, feeling weak and dizzy and close to losing consciousness.

Upon their arrival, Law immediately plunged into the building. Ignoring the fire, He went up the stairs to the 4th floor where Luffy was supposed to be.
