"I was a fool,Indeed!"

The storm was already at a pause, now driven by the commoners back to its sleep.

The chaos of the Spring resulted in the exposure of many hostile movements of the Rebels, which were thoroughly suppressed to its inactiveness by the newly organized Imperial Special Operations Council, headed by Commander Zhang Hao and the other trusted members of the Imperial Guards. They were now like the Eyes of the capital, with granted autonomy with the nobility- other than the Emperor no one can interfere with the Council and its work, Hence becoming "FEAR" of the Rebels'. But this did not only damaged the rebels, but it also took the power back to the Emperor, from the nobility- which was falling apart since the defeat of the JIN army, four years earlier.

[YUN MANSION, NORTHERN COUNTY]

Dark Clouds of the storm were now under constant disintegration- after the untimely rain which poured the countryside lands early in the morning. The wind was blowing mischievously, not to mention its calmness and coldness in the air. The narrow muddy path running between the forest had turned into a temporary marsh, causing the least number of travelers to become more least.

But, the path continued its way through the forest and ended up to the small county of 'Qing' which is the 'granted turf' of the Second Prince- Ruoyun.

The muddy path turns into a small road, directing towards the only well-built structure of the county- 'The Mansion of Second Prince'.

Going through the calm, moist roads sparsely surrounded by habitation- two carriages stop at the doors with their wheels drenched with mud and earth.

two persons, most probably a girl and her attendants, comes out from one of the carriages, while the other Carriage seems to be empty as no one came out from there.

As the girl and her attendant enter the Mansion, Dai Fu- the butler of the Yun Mansion opened the doors, welcoming the girls with a serious gentleness. As the three got inside the mansion, the carriages moved forward, departing to be parked inside the Mansion stables from the backdoor.

The three strolled swiftly through the moist stone way between the garden, reaching the Inner Quarters of the mansion entering the Corridor. As they walked through the corridor, their steps caused a rhythmic sound in the fairly old wooden floor, resulting in the creation of a type of music with the chirping of the birds which was caused in the aftermath of the untimely rain, which had awoken the forest from its slumber.

"I didn't expect the lord will be unconscious for so many days.", Dai Fu said, breaking the silence of the mansion."But, Today morning I saw some movement in his body, so I immediately informed you for assistance..."

"You did the right thing Daifu, although the poison has already been no longer a threat, its treatment has caused a side effect on the young lord's body.", one of the girls replied, "Lord Yun is a lucky person indeed! he survived from the cruelest of the poisons from which no one has ever escaped from, it's already a miracle he is alive."

"yeah! That's actually true, our Prince is a lucky person indeed..", Daifu agreed with her, "...talking about luckiness, Commander Zhang has the same luckiness as of our highness.", pausing for a brief awkward moment, Daifu asked-"Miss Yi! how is your brother doing?"

The girl smiled a little, and answered-

"Zhang Ge is good recently...But, You know how busy he is these days, due to his work...and due to this he hasn't even taken the time to recuperate ." sighing, she spoke again- " I am already out of my ways how to pursuade him to take rest...Zhang Ge is like this, from his childhood....."

As this conversation continued, The three reached the room where Ruoyun was-

Still, with the same quite and calm appearance on his face ; but, as the three walked in- His expressions changed, which were'nt noticed by the two visitors who were busy in their conversation with Daifu.

Actually, Ruoyun had already regained his conciousness three days earlier-

Founding himself unconscious for a long time, he speculated the 'tea' he drank that day had something wrong with it. So, being unaware of the situation he was in no mood to 'inform' all the world about his 're-gaining' of conciousness, he willingly kept acting unconscious from the last two nights, keeping his ears on the chattering maids who were serving him.

From them, he came to know how he was wronged by whom he thought to be the nicest person to him in this strange realm.

He was a fool enough, in judging these new people he met. But, Now he knew who was good to him,and who was'nt at all. He was thankful to the every person who kept him alive through all these hardship.

Afterall, He was the reknowned undercover detective-"RSK", besides his identity of a student in India. Yeah! he has a secret identity...So,what everyone has a secret!

.

.

His 'Acting' was going nice till a night earlier, But when he got up in the late night- Daifu's 'sharp' eyes noticed him and fortunately by luck, Ruoyun also saw Daifu having noticed his acting...

So he immediately came up with a plan which tickled inside his brain- He silently gestured Daifu to come closer to him, putting his finger on his lips gesturing to keep his voice low-

Daifu came running towards Ruoyun, "Lord! You are awoke..!"

As Daifu came near, Ruoyun said something unheardable in Daifu's ears, taking his face near his ear.

Thinking for a while, Daifu nodded his head-

"As you order! But Lord, i think you will actually scare her by doing this..."

Ruoyun took his face back, changing his face to act funny,"Don't worry, I am just grateful to her!"

Actually Ruoyun originally wanted to thank her brother Zhang for his heroic deeds through Fu Yi; But if two things can be done by doing only one action, its not favourable, ITS DAMN FAVOURABLE!

.

.

More than being a lazy person, Ruoyun even didn't wanted to go out and spank his horse- showing his zero experience in horse riding Because if something bad happens doing this...

He would be definitely not going to survive in this past....

.

.

-But, this was'nt the only reason!

-This was just an excuse.

-And, people give excuses when they have ulterior motives beside them.

Yun had known something out of somewhere- Who knows, if it's really worth for him to 'act'?

HAVE A NICE READ!
