Meditation Begins

The Luna's mother got here Sunday night. We let her rest over the weekend, then on Monday the Luna introduced us.

"Mom this is Summer, she is the one I have been telling you about. Her monastery was destroyed and after running through a blinding flash of light she and her four charges ended up on our beach. The rest of them are at the pack lands up the mountain called Blue Moon,and her and Sui are here. You will meet the others tomorrow. Summer this is my mother. Her name is Jewel. She comes from the pack on the other side of the mountain called Winding Rivers pack."

" It's nice to meet you Jewel, how are you today? Do you think you can help me? I need to know how to either increase my strength and stamina or learn how to properly use my gifts."

"It's nice to meet you as well Summer, Teressa has told me a lot about you and what you have done for my grandchildren. I promise to do everything in my power to help you. Why don't you both come over here, today we are going to work on your meditation skills. If you like you can also call your friend Sui so she can practice with us if you would like."

"Thank you Jewel I will call her over."

So I call Sui to join us and while we are waiting for her to get here Jewel says," Let me see your hands. I want to try and get an idea of what I am working with here."

So I put my hands in both of hers. She closes her eyes. After a minute I feel my hands getting warm. I think it's because she is holding my hands but I'm not sure. Then I close my eyes for a second. When I open them again I see a faint glow coming off of her. I watch her doing whatever it is she is doing. I look down at our hands and see that they are glowing as well. The color around her hands are white while mine are a light purple. I close my eyes again and try to tap into whatever it is that I tap into to talk to the babies. But it doesn't work, I open my eyes again and Jewel is staring at me.

" Well, what did you learn? Am I a total freak? Can you help me get stronger?"

"First of all you are not a freak. Secondly I can help you, but I warn you I won't be able to get you to the end of where you need to go. You are much stronger than I am. I can show you how to strengthen your shields, and not use a lot of power when you heal or what ever you are doing. I would like you to take me with you like you did when the babies were upset. I need to see what you do."

"If I do that then we need the Alpha and Joshua here. I wasn't able to return when I did it the last time until I wore myself out."

"That's fine, it's always good to have a tether to this world when we first start doing this. Teressa can you call them down here."

"They will be here in a moment. Where do you want us at?"

"Good, hello guys. Now Teressa you sit next to me, then Alpha sit behind her. Now Summer you sit next to her. And Joshua you sit behind her. Both of you males keep in physical contact with the women. Make sure you do it before we start. Good that's perfect. Now Summer take our hands and do like you did the last time."

So I took both of their hands, then I looked back at Joshua. He smiled at me and nodded his head, I closed my eyes and thought about the babies. Then the three of us were looking at the babies. Then Jewel asks," Can you hear them?"

"Yes, can't you?" "No, show me how please."

So I step it up a notch and make it to where they can hear the babies as well. It's funny they are talking about being hungry. Then Jewel says," Okay that's enough for today. I want you to feel the real world. Feel the men's arms around you. Feel the hard floor under your butt. Feel the breeze coming through the door."

After a minute I manage to do it. Then I open my eyes and look at Jewel. Then she says," For now I only want you to use your abilities for emergency only. We have a lot of work to do. Now both of you need to go get something to eat none of those babies are happy."

Everyone stands up., The guys move us to the couch and then they go make us lunch. While they are doing that Sui comes to the door. Jewel tests her like she did me. Jewel tells her she needs to discipline her mind as well. Then she says she will test the others tomorrow, but now she says she needs a nap. so she goes to her room while Sui heads back home. she was in the middle of making bread when I called. And the Luna and I have Lunch. The guys sit down with us to make sure all is well. Then after we are done eating the men tell us we should have a nap as well. So Joshua takes me back to the house and tucks me in. When I fall asleep he goes back to work.
