oh no..not again!
KIARAIt's been a week already since my vacations ended and as much as I hate it, my life has returned back to normal. The usual boring one where I wake up, get ready and go to college, listen to those never ending lectures, complete the assigned projects, work part-time, go home, eat and sleep. That's pretty much how my everyday goes like.Sam or rather my professor, actually recognised me and Yesterday, after his class he came up to me and spoke. Not the teacher student type talk but just two friends meeting after a long time type talk. I know it's not been that long since I last spoke to him.He said he was surprised to see me on the first day, but then couldn't greet me individually, not that I cared. Anyways, he said that inside the university campus I am his student and he can't talk to me casually but outside he said that we could be friends .Mia on the other hand has started teasing me whenever we come across sam.I didn't realise how fast the time flew today, I am really getting late for work now. Quickly stuffed all my things inside the bag and got up from my seat. I had been working on my thesis for past an hour or so, that I completely forgot to check the time." Bye Ross" I waved at my fellow classmate on my way out." Leaving already?" He asked glancing at his wrist watch."Yep, It's already 4:45, and I need to be at work in another fifteen minutes" I said, before hurrying out of the room.I was halfway across the corridor almost near the chancellors office when I clashed into some one, I lost my balance and was about to fall on my butt, but the person whom I had bumped into caught my wrist, preventing me from falling down. Feeling a bit dazed, I didn't even bother to look up at the person in front of me."Sorry" I said not lifting my head." Do you always bump into people like this?" I heard someone ask, "Or is it only me? " . wait a minute... I-I know that voice...Instantly my head snapped up to look at man who has been haunting my thoughts ever since my last encounter with him . Oh no! not again...!! I have no patience to deal with this guy now, not when I am getting late for work.Worse this Mr. Arrogant guy was not alone, our dean Mr Stevenson and another beautiful blonde woman whom I don't know of, was there with him. This Greek god standing in front of me, was gazing down at me with an amused expression on his face , his grey eyes was twinkling with delight. Isn't he mad at me today?He looked damn hot, last two times when I saw him he was in his casual get up, but today he is wearing a burgundy coloured suit and his brown hair was carefully combed to stick back. The collar button of his white shirt was left open and there was no tie. His leather brown shoes was neatly polished. From his head to toe he looked perfect, from the looks of it I can tell that this guy is filthy rich and since he is accompanied by our university dean, I can tell that he is an important man.A man who demands attention where ever he goes. Donno what is happening to me, have never felt this way before.I realised yet again that I am gawking at him and quickly apologized lowering my gaze. "I am sorry", God, why do I always bang into this guy?and why the do I keep apologizing? .Not waiting for anyone else to comment anything. I ran as fast as I could, without looking back out of the campus.I was twenty minutes late when I reached the library where I work part time."You are late". I heard serena say sounding slightly annoyed,when I entered the shop. Her shift ends at five and I had to replace her before that."I know, I am sorry. Won't happen again". I apologized, if at all I hadn't bumped into that guy again I would have reached here on time.She mumbled something under her breath before picking her bag and walking out.I sighed and started with my work. But no matter how much I tried to concentrate, I couldn't . I had to make an entry of all the newly arrived books in the register and then arrange them according to their respective genres, that was my job for today. I ended up mixing the book numbers and their titles and had to sit and enter all of them over again. What's wrong with me? . Somehow I managed to get through the day and I was totally exhausted.I finished my work and was walking back home when I checked my phone and I had two missed calls. It had been on silent all day that I didn't notice, one was from riya and the other one was some private number. Ignoring the private number, I called riya first."Hey" she picked up in three rings. "Hello""Where are you? " She asked"Umm.. Walking back home, what about you? "" at a club with my colleagues." I could hear a lot of disturbance there. "Listen kia, I had called you earlier to let you know that I am gonna be late today, sorry! " She said."Hey.. That's fine, have fun with your friends" I said, not wanting her to worry about us when she is with her work mates."And ya.. Even Jaz will be late, she said that some last minute medical emergency showed up at work." I bit my inner cheek hearing this. "Will you be okay alone? "" Ya, sure don't worry I'll be fine" I assured her, before ending the call.I exhaled, feeling disappointed. It's Friday today and we three friends are supposed to chat eat and watch movies on Friday night, but I think it's just me tonight.
