Chapter 7: Owner of the Black Rabbit

Both Alex and Elijah are now looking at the strange girl who is currently prostrating herself at them. Then the girl looks at them with her teary looking eyes trying to gain their sympathy. Alex notices that the girl has a twin-tailed bun she has a cute face with a fairy-like appearance. Her petite feature making the other feel a great responsibility to protect her. Alex broke from his thoughts he felt threatened by this cute creature.

(This creature can make others to protect her she is DANGEROUS must avoid this kind of creatures.)

Thankfully the young girl who was labeled as a dangerous creature cannot read his mind. But if she heard what he said then she would probably be wondering whether to laugh or cry from his thoughts. Elijah was the first one to break the atmosphere and help the little girl to stand up convincing her that Alex wouldn't eat her friend. The girl was relieved and started to cry in front of them.

Passerby 1: *whispers* Hey look at those guys they are bullying a child!

Passerby 2: Oh dear! the poor child being bullied by a gangster tsk! tsk!

Passerby 3: Younger people these days tsk! no respect at all!! Tsk tsk

Their surroundings have started to become noisier and noisier both Alex and Elijah are worried about their situation. Their current situation has changed from lost to bullied someone. Alex then picks up Elijah and the bun girl away from the crowd.

Magically Alex found a place where they could talk they settled in a child park with the least people. Alex then put down the two people the black rabbit jump out from the shoulder of Alex into its owner. He then glared at the little girl releasing his bloodlust directly at the little girl.

"Talk."

Even just for a single word made the little girl trembling like a newborn deer. Upon exposure from a predator's eyes, she couldn't help but hide at the back of Elijah.

"W-well calms down Alex I'm pretty sure the child is scared right now it would be better if you don't glare at the child."

Elijah tried to pacify the situation Alex just silently look at him.

(Goodness I almost forgot this is a side of him although it was just a few hours ago that I saw this he is probably misunderstood...again?)

Unsure of the probability he thought that Alex would just ignore his, please. A stroke of luck has passed by at him Alex then withdraw his bloodlust and just found himself sitting at a beach chair. He sighs of relief and looks at the trembling child who almost meets the gates of hell. He then tried to calm her and convince her that everything is alright.

"Now, the child would you care to tell me your name?" appeasing the child with his charms to understand the situation. The child then cooperated with him and nodded like a good child.

"My name is Bo Hua Lian."

"Please to meet you too Bo Hua Lian my name is Elijah you can call me Big brother Elijah."

He then pointed at Alex and introduce him to the child.

"This man is my friend why don't you introduce yourself to the Child Alex." as he encourages him to do a self-introduction.

Alex just looks at the child who was looking at him curiously but still scared of him.

"Alex." then look away from the child.

"Despite his aloof attitude he is actually a shy person" Elijah whispers at Bo Hua Lian and she nods as understanding. Which earns Alex an understanding gaze at him. Although Alex heard what Elijah just said he ignore it.

"Now Bo Hua Lian."

"Big brother Elijah you can call me Lian and also can I call you Big brother?" as she shows her twinkling eyes at him which earns an arrow in his heart because of too much cuteness. He then recovers himself and nods at Lian's nickname for him.

"If you don't mind Lian could you tell us what happened and how did we get into this situation? But I wouldn't force you to tell us."

Lian looks into the eyes of Elijah too deep like an abyss as if she was looking at his soul. She then smiled at Elijah and nods as a sign of consent to tell her story.

"Well...I was working in our inn I gave posters outside from our inn then suddenly my classmates bullied me that I was ugly and tease me because I look like horse poop." then No Hua Lian started to sobs as she remembers the events but she continues her story.

After they insulted me Fù my rabbit, jumped out from my grasp. Fù then kicks one of the bullies in his family jewels. The others were shocked and started to chase us we then started to run away from them. Fù and I were suddenly separated because of the pursuit. Fù and I hide from the bullies but one of the bullies almost finds my spot.

Then Fù got out from its hiding spot was diverting their attention from the position that I was hiding. After that coast was clear I search for Fù which then I found you to have my friend. After Bia Bao explains her story Elijah then understood the reason for the rabbit coming at them.

"Thank you, Bo Hua Lian." Elijah then pats the head of the child which earns a irk from Alex. It seems our MC was jealous of the child getting a pat from his friend. He then changes the label of An Bia Bao from dangerous creature to thieving cat.

"En!" As Bo Hua Lian shows her sweetest smile at Elijah which made him close his eyes from the brightness of her smile.

It almost purified the soul of Elijah at the pure smile that she showed at him. Elijah then broke out from the enchantment because of the piercing eyes at the back of his head. He then looks at the back and it was Alex who was giving the glared.

(Why is he looking at me like that?)

This question seems to keep repeating in his head making him frustrated and confused about his actions. A tug then brought back him from reality and look at Bo Hua Lian who was looking at him with shining eyes. He turns around to face her and look at her with a gentle smile.

"What is it?" then Bo Hua Lian search in her pockets and pulled out a piece of paper. He then takes the paper and reads the contents of the paper.

He then sent a questioning look at Bo Hua Lian as he showed the paper to her.

"B-big brother if you don't mind can you help get back home?"

Alex: *Just ignore them* looks back at Elijah and Bo Hua Lian *hmph!*

Elijah: *sweats* ---shows an awkward smile to the audience---
