14 What Should I Do?

***Then***

Mazikeen was in her bedroom looking up at the ceiling. "What am I going to do Maddie?"

Maddie looks at her, " well you could try it out for a few days. you know say you'll take a week if it's not for you then."

Mazikeen looked at her while sitting up, " you sure?" Maddie chucked "I'm sure".

Later on that evening  Mazikeen was in the village looking around for something to do. she was very bored and was procrastinating on making a decision on whether or not to go home or to stay where she is now.

she walking up yo a little store that had just opened this month. Mazikeen went inside and looked around for a few minutes. Before he was about to leave the shop she comes across a picture, in the picture was the lady behind the desk who she thinks is the owner and Superman. Mazikeen turned around and looks at the lady, " You meet Superman?" she asked very calmly And clear-headed. The Lady from behind the desk turned to her and answers, "Yes, I did. I meet him a few years back. You know he misses you Mazikeen."

Mazikeen's POV:

At that moment I stepped back from her, I didn't know who she was or how she knew my name. but somehow she did. "Who...Who are you??"

I watched her come around the desk and put her hand on my shoulder. "My name is Diana, I am a friend of your fathers."  I looked at her I was too scared yo say anything so I just stood there.

***Now***

Mazikeen looked at the lady, "How long have you known him?". The lady went silent, she then looked up at Mazikeen, "I meet him a long time ago, you weren't even born yet when i meet him." Mazikeen looked at the ground. In the background the door opens and the small bell on the door rang. The lady looked at the door, Mazikeen turned around and looked up from the ground and looked straight into the eyes of a very tall man.

She knew who it was the moment she locked eyes with him, it was Clark. The lady walked up to the him "Hi Clark, long time no see, isn't it?", they both smiled. Clark looked at me and walked towards Mazikeen.

***Mazikeen's POV***

I looked at him, he looked me straight in the eyes and then i saw him mouth open. He was about to say something, something that i may not want to hear but he was gonna say it anyways.

Clark started to talk, "Mazikeen please come home, we miss you." I felt my heart to pound faster and faster the more I hear him say this, I don't know what to do. Should i leave, would it even be the same? The same questions have been running through my head for a long time now and I don't have any of the answers. I would ask someone for help but they would tell me its not their choice to make for me, that it would be my choice no matter what happens because its my life. But my life is so confusing right now I don't know what I want or what I want to do. I should at least tell him I am thinking about what he told me. But I am scared that I may hurt him more. Even after all these year ill probably hurt him more than I could have done years ago.

***Cark's POV***

I watched Mazikeen stand there, I could here her heart beating faster after I told her that her mom and i missed her. I feel like she might not be ready, But am I ready to have her back? Yes, No.... Maybe? I still don't know, I knew her when she was little but I don't know anything about her now. She grew up so fast and I don't understand her yet. "Mazikeen i know that you are still deciding, maybe we can meet for lunch or to get a drink and catch up?". Her eyes lit up just a tad like they used to when i came home from work early. She seemed to have calmed down a bit after i said that, her heart beat had slowed down. So that was a good thing she wasn't nerves with me for a little while.

***A few hours later***

Mazikeen was walking down the street with Clark, they were heading over to the café that was down the street from the gift store. Clark went up to the door an opened it and let Mazikeen walk in, he followed in after her. They sat in the café for a few hours talking Mazikeen was getting more comfortable talking to him and he was finally getting to know his daughter after her being gone for so long. He didn't care that she ran away anymore he just was happy that she was back in his life.

Mazikeen had gotten up to go to the bathroom, she walked passed a group of girls and they were staring at her. One of the girls got up and walked over to her, "I would suggest you move away from the window, I would hate to see you and that really good looking guy get hurt". She smirked, Mazikeen looked over to Clark. He looked back to her with a confused look on his face. He then realized what they meant and he got up and yelled "EVERYONE GET DOWN!". After he told them to get down the road was swarming with bombs and lazar beams everywhere. Someone was attacking the village.

Mazikeen ran into the bac room and shuts the door, she quickly shifts into her secret identity and then opened the window. She flew out and tried to see who was causing all of this destruction. Clark went out in to the back of the café and changed into his superman outfit. He flew up into the sky. Mazikeen went through smoke and accidently flew into Superman. She looked at him and he looked at her. Superman looked at her with a frustrated face expression. Who new Kryptonic but he didn't realize that Kryptonic was his own daughter. All he knew was that Kryptonic has a very bad past with The Justice League and he thought she was the cause of the destruction to the village.
